Introverts of all types, but particularly introverted percievers, are said to be avid users of forums, blogs, and other internet related forms of communication. For one, it's a low stress social situation. It doesn't require proper etiquette and sometimes not even proper spelling or grammar. For introverts, of course, this distanced and paced way to express themselves and interact with others feels a lot more comfortable than the usual every day in your face way.

As to Percievers... well Ps tend to have more time on their hands, because they tend to procrastinate even when they have important real life things to take care of. Also, Ps tend to be big picture people, global thinkers, so they don't mind spending as much time dabbling in their varied interests and indulging in pleasure time, thinking and experiencing random things. Where-as, unless a J has a specific interest in something, they rarely devote themselves to anything, or let themselves be "lazy."

Extroverts and Judging types (even sometimes if the J is an Introvert), often find they have too many things to take care of first, that they can't attend as often to a blog or a forum. So you don't find quite as many of them in a setting like this.

Hehe, I had a good idea as to why, but you explained it all so much more neatly than I could. Thank you.

Contrary to my type description, I often have difficulty expressing myself clearly, even in written form. At least with thoughts, ideas, and opinions, that is.. Feelings are easier, naturally. =]

The ESFJ Portrait:
Does not like being alone, thinks life has purpose/meaning, organized, values organized religion, outgoing, social, does not like strange people/things - likely intolerant of differences, open, easy to read, dislikes science fiction, values relationships and families over intellectual pursuits, group oriented, follows the rules, affectionate, planner, regular, orderly, clean, finisher, religious, consults others before acting, content, positive, loves getting massages, complimentary, dutiful, loving, considerate, altruistic.

But meh who cares.
Do you know of ‘The Magnificent Steiner’ ? The main character was normally a weak, sickly man. When he was in an emergency, someone would come and help him. A secret friend. But, the main character never realised...... that his secret friend....Was himself.

Which of these fits more ( desc by charles martin).

Thinking (T)
When I make a decision, I like to find the basic truth or principle to be applied, regardless of the specific situation involved. I like to analyze pros and cons, and then be consistent and logical in deciding. I try to be impersonal, so I won’t let my personal wishes--or other people’s wishes--influence me.

The following statements generally apply to me:

* I enjoy technical and scientific fields where logic is important.
* I notice inconsistencies.
* I look for logical explanations or solutions to most everything.
* I make decisions with my head and want to be fair.
* I believe telling the truth is more important than being tactful.
* Sometimes I miss or don’t value the “people” part of a situation.
* I can be seen as too task-oriented, uncaring, or indifferent.

Feeling (F)
I believe I can make the best decisions by weighing what people care about and the points-of-view of persons involved in a situation. I am concerned with values and what is the best for the people involved. I like to do whatever will establish or maintain harmony. In my relationships, I appear caring, warm, and tactful.

The following statements generally apply to me:

* I have a people or communications orientation.
* I am concerned with harmony and nervous when it is missing.
* I look for what is important to others and express concern for others.
* I make decisions with my heart and want to be compassionate.
* I believe being tactful is more important than telling the “cold” truth.
* Sometimes I miss seeing or communicating the “hard truth” of situations.
* I am sometimes experienced by others as too idealistic, mushy, or indirect.

ESTP - The "Pursuader"

STPs are action-loving, "here and now" realists with excellent people skills. Informal, risk-taking, fast-paced and adaptable, they are not always in agreeance with rules and regulations. They are tactical problem solvers that desire quick results. ESTPs, who present a friendly and enthusiastic face, are straightshooters that are able to handle criticism.

Not sure how I mistook that the discrepancy was between t/f instead of s/n, but oh well. Here-

which of /these/ fit better, heh. (famoustypes)

Sensing vs. Intuition

Sensing is an ability to deal with information on the basis of its physical qualities and its affection by other information. Intuition is an ability to deal with the information on the basis of its hidden potential and its possible existence. The most common differences between Sensing and Intuitive types are shown below:

Sensing types

* see everyone and sense everything
* live in the here and now
* quickly adapt to any situation
* like pleasures based on physical sensation
* are practical and active
* are realistic and self-confident

Intuitive types

* are mostly in the past or in the future
* worry about the future more than the present
* are interested in everything new and unusual
* do not like routine
* are attracted more to the theory than the practice
* often have doubts

and for the heck of it, these too-

Extroverts vs. Introverts

Extroverts are directed towards the objective world whereas Introverts are directed towards the subjective world. The most common differences between Extroverts and Introverts are shown below:

Extroverts

* are interested in what is happening around them
* are open and often talkative
* compare their own opinions with the opinions of others
* like action and initiative
* easily make new friends or adapt to a new group
* say what they think
* are interested in new people
* easily break unwanted relations

Introverts

* are interested in their own thoughts and feelings
* need to have own territory
* often appear reserved, quiet and thoughtful
* usually do not have many friends
* have difficulties in making new contacts
* like concentration and quiet
* do not like unexpected visits and therefore do not make them
* work well alone

Perceiving vs. Judging

Perceiving types are motivated into activity by the changes in a situation. Judging types are motivated into activity by their decisions resulting from the changes in a situation. The most common differences between Perceiving and Judging types are shown below:

Perceiving types

* act impulsively following the situation
* can start many things at once without finishing them properly
* prefer to have freedom from obligations
* are curious and like a fresh look at things
* work productivity depends on their mood
* often act without any preparation

Judging types

* do not like to leave unanswered questions
* plan work ahead and tend to finish it
* do not like to change their decisions
* have relatively stable workability
* easily follow rules and discipline

These get quite a bit more complicated once you start getting into functions, because the for instance an ISTJ (Ti) and an ESTJ (Te) will have a bit different of an operation in how the tertiary function T works.
