| THE BIRD. I THINK I'M FALLING FOR IT. I love the fact Tamako has a mole on her neck, it makes her more real and diverse as a character somehow. Also, her friend with the dark brown hair has a realllly cute hairstyle. Michizou having a crush on Tamako is adorable, I can't wait for it to develop. Is the flower shop owner a transvestite?? I think I like the ED far more than the OP. I think I'll really like this series. |

| What a nice first episode :) I can already feel how fun and relaxing this will be :) I obviously started this because of my love for K-On! and since I'm gonna need something relaxing in the following days (graduation exams), and well, I just like the character designs and the setting. I like all the characters so far. Especially Tamako and Anko. I like the bird a lot, but I think he got a little bit too much screen time. The seiyuu (even though most of them are new to the industry) were good, at least I felt like it. They were nice to listen to. The OP and the ED were both pretty good. The skipping scene (as someone mentioned) reminded me of the Clannad ED as well. What the heck was the random laser-blast-eye-projection? o_O |

| Oh boy this is good, I feel that this anime has a lot of potential! Really nice characters and just a nice concept a bird that talks and is on a journey to find a bride for his prince! The bird gets nosebleeds from to much excitement from a human girl yea... Pretty funny episode, the ending especially! Lets see what's next! |

| Oh god this is so cute. It's everything I wanted after watching something as edgy and grimdark as Berserk. The OP is awesome, and Tamako is my daughteru. I wish the brown haired girl had a different voice through; I imagined that she would be a lot cuter. |

| Initial thoughts on this series: Can't be worse than Kyoukai no Kanata right?Right? Nope,I was wrong. Can't take any scene with the talking bird seriously. I wonder if this'll be one of those shows were it's so bad it's good?As in a good laugh because of how terrible it is. |
| Eh, I don't know what to think of this episode. I like most of the characters, even the bird (somewhat), but as a whole it just felt really bland. Tamako's sister's reactions to the bird were the best though. |

| The script is incredibly mediocre- probably not KyoAni's fault though since that's part of the source material. I mean it's... just not funny. At all. Art and animation is consistent KyoAni professional style. At the very least, it makes characters look memorable (same artist for the manga and anime anyway) |
| That was dumb in ways I'm unsure of how to describe. It wasn't bad, but just a bit overly silly. It was certainly having a lot of fun with itself at least, so it was entertaining in that regard. |

| In re-watching this episode, I feel it's a solid introduction. It introduces all of the major characters in a succint manner that showcases their most obvious traits, and it also displays the series' dainty, light-hearted atmosphere. But, as many others have said, the bird is obnoxious and overbearing. The jokes about him being a pervert are also off-color and tasteless. Not all of the humor was terrible, though. A couple attempts at humor were well-handed, but most of it was meh. |

| Funny start, I really enjoyed this episode. The bird, Dera was very funny and Tamako already is a cutie. Not to mention that the art and animation resembles a lot to K-On!, so it's a plus for me. The cast seems quite interesting as well, especially Mochizou. He seems to be a nice but shy guy when it comes to Tamako. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| I'm on the side of the bird being an annoyance but we have to keep him here or else it'd be too slice of life? Honestly I'd love learning the technical aspects of mochi making and that'd be enough. Aside from that the pastel softness of it is cute and though mundane it captures some nice aspects. Been on my ptw for a while now. |
