This, as long as we get more Taichi x Iori shipping moments, then i'll stick with this series. Regardless of where the story begins to turn. I knew from the first episode that i would enjoy this series, because of how the story is being laid out. On top of that, the character art is pretty great in my opinion. I love that style of animation.

This anime is madly confusing.
But the plot is finally picking up.
I wonder what kind of power is used to switch them?

I'm not that big of a fan of Iori, although I do want to know what is up with her, but I feel that way about every character in this series.

What I do want is Inaba x Taichi. I would love it if they ended up together, but...will see..it probably will end up been Taichi and Iori, which for some reason I just absolutely do not want.

That said, I'm glad the last switch was btw Inaba x Taichi : )
I am a sucker for romance!!!!

Kokoro connect should now be a paranormal/dramatic type that has soul philosophy as assembled in the spoiler
that one conversation Iori being in Toshifumi’s body has with Taichi made quite the intellectual in this anime. In fact this series is not about ecchi no more. It’s totally emotional and dramatic not to mention creepy! Did you see Goto in the following,

WTF GUY! He is possessed! SOMEONE CALL A EXORCIST NOW! Like I was totally like that. I am still baffled at why they did not do it. It’s obvious Heartseed is scared of them since he mentions not to tell anyone. Why not? Probably cause a priest can whoop its ass! That’s what! But anyway that part had a most amazing BGM along with a later part. So 2 of them were quite enticing in this episode.

I admit that I was surprised at Yui’s outburst in the spoiler
that was quite surprising while it was shocking to hear of Iori’s divorce, I would prefer the father being dead because it pisses off more that he is divorced and that’s never good when he does not have contact with his kid. That being said I liked both Yui/Iori’s outfits in the spoiler
While they were in the room.

One of the things that does me piss off at Heartseed is the following,

Especially since it was Yui. After learning of their sizes:
Inaba is B
Yui is A
Iori is C
Yui being DFC makes it all the more raging that’s not to mention in the spoiler
what happened to Inaba. That push was plain nasty. Also I did not think of Inaba being B. I was hoping for maybe A too. I want to know WTF does Heartseed work for and who wants the observations.

I ROFL at Yui not being herself in the spoiler
The walking in in the bathroom gag is great in this series.

I did however appreciated Iori’s blush in the spoiler
there is something quite special of it.

About thee end, crazy Ianaba in Taichi’s body in the spoiler
was crazy indeed. To declare he loves Iori is great but not while not being himself. Does not look like Maiko likes the response from her evil face.

About the preview, lots of mixed emotions in the spoiler
for one Taichi realizing he might love Iori is too look forward to and Yui crying is to RAGE and RAGE about depending how bad shit will hit. Inaba realizes of selfishness upon….to see of who and why? There is also the Yui punching Taichi that looks cute and seems Iori is having a change with her mother but what is up there is to find out next week.

Conclusion, series looks to have scary moments, high pitch emotional tolls and most of all drama with excellent BGM. Quite the surprise with this episode. The body switching might get confusing at some point.

Was kind of boring, but then the ending made this anime interesting again.

But what Nagase said is 'sort of' true. We do identify ourselves mainly with our appearance, but over time, I think this becomes less true. I mean, sometimes I think I look like a 'bishounen' (until I look in the mirror -haha).

Well what I originally thought was a rather light-hearted show seems to be getting more serious in terms of story telling and exploring each character's emotions. I think this would continue to be great if they can maintain a nice balance between this which keeps it interesting and comedy which keeps it from getting too depressing. Either way, I think this will continue to turn out well. Quite the welcome change.

This series could be the surprise of the season if they continue to develop it in this serious direction--clearly we're moving beyond expectations for the typical gender/personality swap show.

Ooohh, did it just get kind of sinister? That was actually pretty freaking creepy with Gossan... looks like it'll be more serious with drama than I was expecting owo which is a definite positive.

I like the mix of seriousness and comedy it's got going here. I laughed a few times and I'm pretty hard to amuse, it's just funny watching them trying to deal with it. The bit at the end where Taichi volunteered for Inaba XD.

Definitely looking forward to this more now. owo Though wow I need to learn their names I'm so confused XD;;

Fast thinking on Inaba's part as a way to help out her friend Iori. Taichi will just have to man up and deal with the ramifications (silly grin).
I think Taichi can handle himself when it comes to the class president.
And let be honest Iori and Taichi have a very friendly relationship and the would make a good couple it won't be surprising either if they where to have feelings for each other.
Oh, I wasn't referring to Taichi dealing with the class president, but to Taichi dealing with having to "pretend" he is in love with Iori. (wicked grin)

Aversa said:
She didn't specifically mention a dislike towards men she was just creeped out at the idea of having to use the toilet as one of them.

Maybe, but I've gotten the impression that it's much more serious. We'll just have to wait and see. :)
In the manga the part at Inaba's house was different the scene was longer there was more talk and a few more funny parts as well.
As mentioned before there are some differences compared to the manga but it's pretty much the same story.

As for Taichi and Iori it's safe to say that there are feelings between them tho they don't seem to realise it.
But Inaba seems to be aware of it.

This suddenly got kind of creepy with that Balloon Vine which adds a serious tone that I actually like.

Gotta love that body switching, Inaba and Taichi were great at the end and all that talk about touching the bodies of the opposite sex.

Iori seems like the most intersting person to me right now, she is hiding a lot even if she told them about her parents and her little speech about identity makes me even more curious.

Really? Thought I heard it'd be a weird 17 episode show.

I was completely wrong about this show. This episode was impressive. Thank goodness I didn't drop it, I was definitely about to. The first episode gave me the idea that this show would be a simple comedy and I'm not interested in that, however this episode gave me great character interactions, drama, and hinted romance. Impressive, and a great improvement over the first episode. I was also wrong about the characters being boring, I like all of them now. Blonde hair guy is the least interesting, but still not bad. Good job, Kokoro Connect, I'm glad you managed to surpass my expectations.

This is really starting to feel like some sort of social experiment. This guy wants to test what will happen when people are forced to act as someone else.

I think Yui may have been assaulted by a man in the past. The way she reacted about Iori being alone and the fact she backs off when Iori wanted to touch her in Shino's body confirms this. In the preview we can also hear Shino (her in his body) say that she starts to shiver whenever a guys comes close to her.

Very interesting. Certainly gonna keep watching this.

That was an intiguing episode, I admit. I'm really curious who's behind all this body swapping. Iori's argument about importance of one's body was really thought provoking. I loved final scene when Inaba and Taiki swapped bodies. Hm, can someone explain to me what "hito random" at the end means?

Along with the comedy it's the sudden outbursts of seriousness that makes them hit all the harder, especially Yui's outburst at Iori

All on a sudden, a comedy oriented show got into a whole serious atmosphere.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I have come to the conclusion that Inaba likes Aoki (from Aoki's certain behaviours and how Inaba responded) and Yui likes Taichi (next episode preview).

5/5 for the second episode running!

Interesting view there, it might be. Paranoia like that is possible and from the manga's point of view of this episode, Aoki is being seen by Yui as not a bad person but just weird, which means the manga points out what you say. Yui likes Aoki as a friend but just is scared of going further cause she thinks sexually he might eventually knock her up.

That is the result of a attempted rape or something like that for Yui. Remains to see a flashback of the event.

Most likely. Her behavior, as you said, certainly suggests that this is the case. That and the fact that she knows karate (and was a middle school champion no less) She was probably assaulted/raped and took up martial arts in order to defend herself in the future.

Anyways, I'm really enjoying this anime. The genre listing for this a bit misleading (as they often are) as this is hardly a comedy. Not that it isn't amusing, but there's some serious shit going down.

The story is expanding in a unbelievable pace.
Even though people think they know their friends, you still can't step in their shoes and help solve their problems. This anime shows what happens when you CAN do that, and I am grateful for that.

Good point. The fact that she knows self defense is also a good clue.
