Couldn't have said it better myself. She could have been a little nicer about it, or at least understand the situation a bit more. The fact that she practically evicted them with that harsh tone is almost like firing a single parent in front of his/her own kids. I hope we get to see some change out of her in the next episode.

Understand the situation? Lol all she knows is someone is breaking a contract agreement by having too many people. She doesn't know anything about his background.

*I meant try to find out what his situation is, but I figure that'd be outside what her job is. That's just me wanting things to happen :P

I understand that he was in breach of contract and I agree he had it coming to him, but that doesn't change how she acted towards the whole situation. At this point, she knows the kids are living there, so why not, at the least, have the courtesy to pull Yuuta aside to discuss the matter and not blatantly say that they're evicted in-front of the kids. Yuuta should have to be the one to deal with letting the girls find out.

Dunno why people are hatin on Sako, hes a big help to Segawa in manga (gets him part time jobs like the strawberry thing) and I doubt he'd do anything, besides loads of ppl watching this anime are prolly thinkin like him in his head.
Sorry i'm not tho cuz i'm all Raika fan... dat body... dat likes cute stuff.... that priestess tied up.... I WONT HIDE THIS, ITS THE INTERNET AFTER ALL!!!
But I do hope for Sora to get a bit luckier in love, shes gotta stop with the Tsun and give more dere.
Also LANDLADY GO DIE IN A HOLE, OMG HES GOT 4 PPL LIVING THERE! ANYONE BITCHED ABOUT THAT TO YOU!? IF NOT, YOUR THE BITCH FOR KICKIN THEM OUT @$@#%@!#

If she gives in with one rule then the rest of the complex will run her over with pleas for exceptions to other rules. Her hands are kind of tied. She gave him time even.
Well, it's not like she can call the police and throw them out right away, there is a contract. In any law abiding country, you need to go through court to forcefully remove anyone. A month's notice is a given, not a courtesy.

Though I guess you're right about her not being able to help them if moving in too many people is against the building regulations... tough luck.

That president guy is just creepy... geez, control your urges. At least Raika is a fun person to watch.

I kind of understand the landlady's position, tbh. Back when I was living in an apartment during my sophomore year of college, we were told very clearly about who could come over to our apartments. I think we were only allowed guests to stay there for about three days at most or something. I don't remember if the punishment was as harsh as immediate eviction, but it was harsh alright. Nonetheless, we broke the rule anyways, lol. My roommate had his cousin live in our living room. :)

Nonetheless, she was still a bitch about the way she handled it. In my scenario, my landlord kicking us out if he had ever found out would have been justifiable. All of us living there were grown men who could take care of ourselves. In Yuta's case, he had three dependent girls relying on him. To kick him out without warning or to properly understand the situation seems quite unwarranted and unfair.

Thanks, person who gave me this on another site a long time ago, lol.

I've been looking forward to this episode and I was not disappointed. That scene in the beginning, oh my god just like Yuuta, immediate nosebleed. "Me sa le. Me sa le. Ah le. Ah le..." Raika meeting the girls, haha it was great to watch. "Cute girls are justice. Cute is ultimate." And dat thumbs up! #1 Actress, hot, kind, great cook and goes with that kind of value with cuteness? Raika's perfect.

Sora going all out tsundere and jealous, soooo cute and funny to watch. Haha butting in every change she gets. And Miu teasing her about it, lol this episode was great. Lmao looks like Sora is too old for Sako pedo guy.

It was such a happy and joyful first 20 minutes, with 1 minute left in the episode what could go wrong? Everything. >_> They start talking about school and that sad feeling kicked in when Yuuta knows that this is going to be tough and he's like out of options. And it wasn't over yet with that bitch landlady drops the bomb and evicts him. Ouch. Preview does show them going inside a new and much bigger house. Hmm I realllly want to know whats going to happen next.

by god how many people think the land lady is a bad person through the presented POV. This is one of those situations where you kind of have to put logic over emotions.

As for Hina, I don't really want any fan service of her, she's not a Loli, she's a toddler, HUGE difference in my opinion.
Nah she does not have the typical "round" toddler body type IMHO.
More or less a shorter version of your typical loli =)

What really annoys me is when people are willing to accept something, but whit one slight alteration it becomes "outrageous" in their eyes.
My friend Yano gave up on the story because of that. I think that's a good example. I did not but on the opposite slight ecchi increases irritate to me and I just expressed it. If the pics are not enough of Hina to show there is some form of increases then I don't know what else is to prove in regards to that.

I'd say this is exactly the same situation, oh no we are perfectly fine with Sora, and Miu (both of which would be considered under aged in developed countries) but a scene with Hina covered in nothing but her own hair.. Unacceptable!

I'm not fine with Miu or Sora fan service.
If I want fan service (which I usually do not want) I'll take some delicious Raika-san fan service :3
Ideally that is what I would want a better concentration on. Even if they are mixed up with the girls the mentality of Raika in all this cannot possible = to ecchi at all. Comedy at most but it's another story with camera angles.
Dalek-baka said:
so there will be uncensored version of this :D
really?!
OK this loli stuff is disturbing for me at it's own (in all 3 versions)
and they will give more of it?!
So suggests Haganai's recent uncensored version.
Cratex said:
Oh, for what it's worth, Sora never once slapped Yuuta this episode. Sure, she stepped on his foot, but he deserved that one.
Haha, yeah that is quite amazing in this episode. In regards to your comment of the fan service, well sure I agree about that but I am seeing things ahead and so far about Haganai, it's coming out as true. Remains to see what are they going to do about it in the BDs. Regardless the fan service fluctuations are there already in this episode.

I Was wondering when someone would say that. That being her job do you think she is doing this out of pure selfishness due to her own life being in trouble with authorities should she ignore all this? I mean can the city make shit for the Landlord due to this? I hear yes but what do others think?

About the fan service, oh this is just the start of a little bitching from me. From the list,
  • Now OK the breast play of Miko being tied onto the poll in the spoiler
  • Now the bath part in the spoiler
So suffice to say that for one I will say that Raika has a few points that were nice of her in this episode.

I don't see anything wrong with uncensoring that scene for Sora and Miu. As long as they don't touch Hina, it's perfectly OK.

Mainly that is the point although Miu at 10 years old is still eeeeeshhhhhh. Fine if it brings more $$$$ and I have realized that with Haganai. So to further just stop the crappy debate of THE RAGE of it if it brings S2 we are all happy. Considering we can't do shit about even if we wanted to, I say I just expressed a part of my discontent about it. That's all.

Just saying that I don't know what's up with all the Sako hate and that he's an unneeded character. If anything, from reading the manga and understanding a bit more about the story, he is an important character in terms of getting Yuuta his jobs, support, and getting Raika to act in "those" ways just to observe Yuuta's reactions.

And he's a completely harmless lolicon. Did you guys not see the scene where he was playing the game with Sora? If he were a normal lolicon, he'd still be all over Miu or in a corner with bruises. I would call that controlling his urges.

Actually, Raika seemed more lolicon than Sako hah.

And about the landlady, I certainly wasn't expecting her to evict Yuuta, I actually thought she would have offered to help babysit or something. Things should be getting more interesting from here on out.

I've been on both sides of the renting equation. Most standard rental contracts have the rules in them they do for very good reasons - there are a LOT of people out there who will trash a rental in no time flat. Enforcing them is not a job for the weak. Certainly, her approach lacked decency and appreciation for opportunity - but I've seen both good and bad landlords.

Regardless, it's another example of why I like this story so far. This was a consequence I expected and I'm "happy" this attention to real life detail is there (though it really kicked me in the gut when it happened). Hopefully Yuuta will be able to turn this into an opportunity.

No it was more I wasn't expecting the eviction, not the landlady evicting Yuuta. I perfectly understand why she would evict Yuuta, it's just that I've never read the LN so I didn't see this bit of drama coming.

I'm no lawyer... i know is a pain in the ass when family dies and no will was written. But still as immediate family, wouldn't the girls inherit some money and maybe the house. I know keeping the house would be tough, bills and taxes would be impossible for him to pay. But there is some money on selling and getting a better apartment.
Also the rest of the family seemed to just abandon them. They are really not helping... just checking every now and then to see when he is going to mess up to take the girls away.

Actually, Whether there is a will or not, by law upon the death of the owner, the property automatically goes the children and in this case it's Sora being the eldest has the right to inherit and manage the property. Other assets can be divided among Miu and Hina . But being underage, the court can place departed's property to a caretaker whom will temporary manage the children's inheritance until the eldest reaches the rightful age of 18, when that happens Sora will be given the rights to her inheritance and divide it among her siblings.

Lol nice Googling.

Pretty sure the assets and equity are frozen, most Asians dont write wills its just bad karma and Its a long process to get that inheritance if there's is no will written.

Actually that the house will go immediate family is written in the contract for the property so you don't need to make a will for that.
You do however need to make a will for your partner if your not married and you want your property to go the her/him.
You also need your children to be registered as your own. (When a child is registered at the city council it's normal that both parent's sign but this is not always possible)
If you don't have children and you aren't married the property will go to you parents if they aren't around any more your siblings and if they aren't around there children.
Basically they they just follow your family line it's part of your heritage and they will treat it as such.

Also about the will it's not such a big deal to have one made.
This might depend on country but making a official will won't take much longer then a hour.

Well, we got what I was afraid of. The perverted lolicon got to meet the girls and was creepier than ever. And the fourteen year old was too old, lmao. At least Raika was there to keep him in line a little.

Then there's Sora being all jealous of Raika. At least in the end she felt a little more at ease around her.

Lastly the landlady wants a word about all the people living in his room and he gets evicted! Like things couldn't get any harder for him! I'm thinking maybe... maybe the landlady might warm up to them once she hears the story.

This is a pretty nice episode. We got to see Raika and the Pres meet the nieces, but I'm a bit surprised at how Pres was quite tame during his visit. Like playing a video game with someone who he considers a "grandma" rather than doing other things.

No word for Raika, she's pretty awesome with those nieces, she's like a born mother with them already!

Lastly, the landlord, we see her observing the family throughout the episode, and it was pretty dark and no one was around her apartment room. Looks like someone's jelly! But nah, it is her job to keep some contract stability in her land. After all, if she were to let them do their business, the other people living in the apartment will notice, and start breaking rules as well, using the family as proof of justification. But the fact that she told Uncle that they're being evicted in front of the children is a bit surprising. I would have talked to him outside about it. Maybe the landlord bears an emotional meaning behind the eviction as well. Looking at her dark room, perhaps it's because a loved one died or something?

Definitively a case of 'You know i'm very envious of you having your little fun with your family when I am utterly bored at home wondering why I even exist so I just thought 'why not reading that contract he signed when he moved in' just to look for something to get in your legs, you know, just for the fun of it *trollface*'.

That's very possible. Perhaps it is the Stress of failed attempts of finding a partner to live with in her life that all the more influenced her to take her anger out on a family whose nieces are in a family crisis. Or maybe she's just one of those old-fashioned people and wants some peace and quiet, which the girls were clearly disrupting.

I feel bad for Sora, I think Yuuta already likes Raika, so I don't know how things will turn out for her. I can't really dislike Raika, cause I thinks she's pretty cool : )

But seeing as Sora and Yuuta are not far in age, then I would like for them to end up together if at all possible. Of course it'd be great if he actually waited for her to grow up until she's of age.

On another note, I feel bad for them having to move out..now things will get even harder.

The landlord has to be strict if she wants to assert her authority and with Yuuta breaking the contract agreement, she has the power to evict him regardless of his situation. If other residents saw that he could get away with it, it would just cause more rules to be broken and more disorder in the apartment complex.

Wow shit gets real next week. I really hope things work out. This anime has been a little more sad and depressing than I thought it would be, but I still love it. 5/5

That guy is creepy... He managed to get in...

Raika in Shrine girl was amusing and nice

Nice storytelling so far, he sure is having some struggles. What a bitch the landlord

He's being evicted because he has more than one person in the room? How stupid, he's paying, so what so if there are more people?

i am glad this anime isn't gonna be like one of those LOLI HAREM anime -__-.
You can tell Yuuto like Raika as GF interest and his niece as niece, not any romantic feelings for them.
love it
