idk...thats for me to decide. I will probably stop watching once I get tired of it or if they run out of ideas for an anime seeing the same sh!t produced every season like hidan no aria. I still love anime and not in college yet so I'll keep on watching.

I'd say I still will. I've watched it pretty much throughout my whole life, also me and my boyfriend agreed that if we were to have kids someday they are going to be brought up with it too, and retro games.

Probably less than how was it today, but when that time comes I would pick the genre's wisely so it would not leave a negative impression.

I AM already almost 30 and I still watch anime, read manga and play video games. It's not on such an scale when I was younger however haha!

While I haven't got a family yet, I have my own business and I don't have a problem with my colleagues knowing about my like of anime, nor do they have any problem with me liking it.
hey hey hey hey no

I hope I will!

Ppl have told me I would grow out of anime once I start becoming an adult...
And technically I'm an adult now (18) and I'm watching anime more now than I did when I was 16!!

But I don't think i'll get bored of anime any time soon! There's always more to watch!!

How much older? I'm in my 20s and actually the older I get, the more interested in anime I am. There're so many things that I can savour - not only the story of a show itself but the seiyuus, Japanese language with all its intricacies, the culture and many, many more. There's no way I'm abandoning the world of anime anytime soon :)

Seeing as how I'm already in my 30's the answer would be yes. Tastes have changed over time but I'm not watching any less now then I ever have. If anything I might be watching more at times.

Don't have a family of my own but if I did I would still be watching. Probably not as much but still would. Would just depend on how much free time I had, same as it is now really. Watch as much as my free time allows.

Don't see why I wouldn't even be watching 20 years from now. My tastes at that point might have changed enough where I don't watch much new but I'll bet I'd be watching some old stuff here and there. For reasons of nostalgia if nothing else.

I would've said yes a while back but now I don't know. I've had stuff in my ptw list for ages, without caring and I progressively fall further and further behind with the currently airing stuff so I guess it's hard to say. I'm getting bored of anime now it seems, but maybe in the future I'll love it again.

Being old isn't enough of a reason for me to stop doing things I enjoy.
I definitely have superpowers. I can feel it in my balls.

i only watch anime when i have free time,(for fun and philiosophy) and
when i grow up, i would have found other better things to do...
but i'm not saying i'll stop watching it, maybe my taste in anime genre will change, but nevertheless i will surely lessen my time in watching anime when i grow older

HELL YEAH!
I'll completely watch anime with my future children. Hell I'm already planning to watch anime with my new niece my sister has given me! :D
Besides, the guy in the first page is right...AGE IS IRRELEVANT. It has nothing to do with whether you watch anime or not.

Some animes I might watch with the young kids... Like showing Naruto to elementary kids because they are always into that superpower stuff.

I wouldn't really encourge Western cartoons because they are fucking retarded (Adventure Time, Flapjack etc etc...) except for Tom and jerry and other classics.

I'm in my 20's working on my career in the IT field, and am VERY busy nearly all the time.

When ever i get an evening off, much like tonight, i take a load off, jump on mal and watch some anime.

When i was in highschool i marathon watched anime for months and months and months, and thats how i built the majority of my list, now i maintain a healthy and steady flow of watching anime and it relaxes me very much.

Now, I use it as a way to unwind and forget about lifes troubles for an hour or 2.

It's going to stay with me for a long long time.
I can't see myself ever losing interest.

As long as the plots and characters evolve with my taste. I use to watch stuff like DBZ and more kiddy anime like pokemon when I was little with little intricacy and predictable storyline. Now it takes something more intricate and a less anticipated plot to keep my interests. So as I get older I'm sure I'll want an even more unpredictable and intricate plot and characters to keep my interests going

I'll keep watching as long as there are still good shows to watch.

Though, I do admit I really wish the Anime Industry would get over this current fad for moe/incest fanservice.

Yes I'm almost 20 now, I honestly haven't been into anime long cause my mom had something against but now it doesn't matter. Of course I'll watch it with my kids, besides, I never watched it when I was little so I fully haven't enjoyed anime.

hmm interesting topic...i would like to say yes but who knows how the world will work in a couple or more years later. I will definitively like to rewatch my favs later on but will the anime/manga industry stay the same? or will the ecchi/moe take over and ruin it for me D:

I'm already in my twenties, albeit without children. I lost interest for a while, but obviously I got back into it. I don't think there is necessarily a "cut off" age for anime, because it only refers to a medium. It is vastly varied in content and maturity.

I probably would watch, but I'd have to be more selective about what anime I want to watch with my kids/wife around. *cough* ecchi *cough*

Or perhaps I might even take a liking to anime geared towards adults i.e. Seinen anime.

Yes I would. It's taking the joy in humble simplicity kind of Japanese philosophy that translates into anime that will never fade over time. That's what drew me into the anime at the age of 20 in the first place.

I've watched anime since I can remember, so it's hard for me to consider it as something apart from other forms of entertainment. Even if I'd watch one a few episodes a year, I'd still feel like it like a part of my life.

-animeS - The plural of anime is anime. More than one deer is still deer. There is no damn "s".
