| Finally got around to playing Fable 3... and I'm so pissed off right now. Combat was way too easy, the story was bullshit, adventure was nearly nonexistent, money-making jobs were all the same shit-tier minigame, there was absolutely nothing new, morality choices were even more inane than usual, and I could go on but that would make this into more of a rant than it already is. Long story short, it took me about 8 hours to beat and I can't see myself ever playing it again. This sequel was so obviously a cash-in on the success of the franchise that even I'm a little appalled. Normally, I like to see rabid fanboys get screwed over but this was just disgusting. I thought that New Vegas was a bit of a cop-out, but Fable III makes NV look like a complete overhaul of the series. There must have been a lot of money changing hands for it to be getting the B+ average score that it got from most major reviews. |

As for me, I am still working my way through BG 2 and will probably give G3 another shot, this time with CP and a mage character. |
