| Meh, kinda really disappointed they didn't actually show the girls play.. but instead just put some lame (and short) PV. Anyway, there's still hope I guess, maybe they'll put the concert on a DVD or w/e. Rest of the episode was decent, cool song, nice outfits, 4/5. Edit: Oh and I lol'd at Yui's voice -_- Must've been hard work for her voice actress! Edit2: Also lol'd at the camera "click" from the audience. |

| Not a bad episode. After all that good build up to the performance, they show a music video instead...and one that reminded me a bit of both the opening and the final episode of Beck. So I was't impressed at all, but disappointed instead. Yui carrying the amp while Mugi breezed on by was a hilarious scene, and the face plant was funny, but other than that, just ok. And I'm really getting tired of Mio. |
| Ack, they jipped the pantsu scene! Overall weak episode compared to last week's. I did enjoy the song(Hikasa Yoko has a pretty singing voice), minus the parts where Yui sang. |
| Was good, but I think it could've been better. But since we're only half way through, I'm sure something mindblowing will be waiting at the end of this anime. |

| Another awesome episode ^^ I too was surprised they didn't hold the concert until the end... but still very awesome. Mio differently feels like the main character, which I don't mind since she's my favorite :D |

Since the K-ON! manga appeared a year after Haruhi again it is possible there was a direct influence, or perhaps the mangaka was simply referencing a typical school fair and the similarities are coincidental. Either way, I've only seen this before in Haruhi hence my comments regarding the initial comparison. :) |
| I loved it! The refrence was easy. This time it was Trigun<3 I was actually worried before they got on stage but I'm glad they did well. I feel Mio's fear has been dragged on a bit. The scene when Ritsu was remembering things about her childhood was so cute. I was also hoping for a real song but that one was okay. |

| i got to say, for as good as this episode could have been, it turned out pretty awful. Not even close to the school festivals done in Beck and Haruhi. The vocal accompaniment was annoying and the song just wasn't nearly as good as the opening and ending. Yeah, it's their first concert but for the series to live up to the hype it should have been at least as good as God Knows. And there's no reason to save up for the last episode. Beck had multiple lives and they were all awesome. That's just a weak excuse for such a major production studio. You go all out every episode. |

| Pretty good episode, could have used a little bit more for their performance but still good. Lots of funny parts as well. The Ritsu/Yui sumo part, the scene with Ritsu doing her introductions for everyone, and the nice rice bowl part at the end. |

| the concert went over great! i loved how they did a music video while the song was playing; but poor mio! just when everything was going great, she trips and next thing you know she flashes the entire audience, and a single camera flash goes off... and now she has her own fanclub. |

| yui's backup vocals were so funny, with her hoarse voice and stuff. i laughed pretty hard at that. this episode was choice, but the one before has been the best for me. this is by far the best show of the season, like enough people havent said that already.... ^_^ |

| Dicking around as usual. Good thing they played at the latter half of the episode. I wouldn't be surprised if this will be the same format in future concert episodes. Seems like next week will be another slice of life (dicking around). |
| lol, finally got around watching it. Hilarious episode. The song was average, but when you think about it, they can't come up with something in God Knows' caliber in three months (in the anime, I mean.) I blame Don't Say Lazy and God Knows for overshadowing this song. Ui will get some screentime next episode; it should add some followers to her.
