Hard to say

My parents dont care about anything even if I would start to build bomb on table they would be careless.

But my to younger brothers laugh at me and make silly jokes everyday...

I usually get embarrassed when there's something sexual going on, other than that, no.

I just get embarrassed when there is a kissing scene.. Especially when my father is beside me, I will pause it and then wait for him to go anywhere. And when he's not beside me anymore, Oh well, I'll continue to watch xD

I used to get really embarrassed when I was reading ecchi manga and an unexpected page would appear.

But generally with anime it doesn't really bother me if anyone sees, since my family is totally used to it. Though some of the ecchi and occasional hentai I might watch I won't watch at all when family is around .___________."

I watch Hunter x Hunter (2011) on Animax when I go home. (I go home once every 2 weeks, I live in my college dorm.)

My father joins me. Haha.

My mom seems to know the anime but she doesn't care about it.

They're only 37 so they know the anime, I think. (My parents were only 18 when I was born.)

Lock your door.

Lol no, they will think I'm... you know.

And what do you do when you are actually fapping?
Just tell them you are very hooked watching something and you want some privacy.
Parents are always thinking werid thing about their sons anyways.
My dad tought I was doing drugs just because I used to spend a lot of time on the roof at night. And I was just watching the start with a telescope -_-

Lol no, I don't do it anymore.

It wasn't until Firefox fucked up and reopened it self while I was asleep to show that I was reading Yuri manga. Now they associate all anime with hentai.

I always feel embarass because they will tease me that I'm too old watching for it, I was 20 I guess before I went living alone. So 20 for them is not suitable to watch anime.

I can't watch anything in front of others.
I like to watch my stuff in private, whether it's anime, sitcoms or cartoons.
It's not because it's embarrassing (though it does annoy me sometimes when my dad asks me if I'm secretly Japanese). I simply enjoy it more on my own in my own personal space.

Actually, when I think about it, I prefer doing pretty much everything in private.

It would only be embarassing if it was an ecchi scene (I don't really watch hentai or very rarely so that doesn't count). I pause it if it is something like that (and click back to another scene, so that I don't pause right at the panty shot :D)
I pause anyway whenever they come into my room, because they either want something with me or my brother, so of course I stop it to give them my full attention.

Other than that they really don't care, and neither do I.

No, they like anime too so it's never embarrassing. Usually they'll just ask what the show is and walk away, but sometimes they'll sit down and watch if they're interested.

But my aunt and older sister hate it, so it does get a bit uncomfortable when they just sit there and watch me watch an episode. That's when I stop it.

Yeah, Brofist! I'm exactly like this, that's why I told the OP to just lock his door and ask for some privacy. I don't think it's too much to ask.
Even my mom tells me to fuck off and make my own dinner when she's hooked watching a movie.
I find anime to be the kind of hobby you will enjoy more when watching in private.
Like watching movies in home instead of the movie theater.

If I'm willing to watch a show in let's say the living room I'm pretty sure that whatever they walk into will be fine. It just depends on the show. I'm not going to watch B Gata H Kei, as an example, in front of them. But if I'm in my room anything goes.

Quite honestly I do not care what other people think of my anime-addiction. I never "bug" my family about it or obsess in public so it isn't bothersome to people. Considering that I could be addicted to worse things, my parents should be relieved. In fact, sometimes my brothers also join in on watching, we're currently watching SNK and Dangan Ronpa together!

That being said, I am not completely safe from the usual "you're so immature" and "grow up already" comments.

I actually never lock it, but I made it clear to everyone a few years back that I'd like them to knock, so I don't become startled (since I use headphones).

It's the same with me. It's my hobby and I don't feel the need to advertise it to the world. It's not like some people don't know about it, but if others don't then that's just fine. I'm not looking for attention because of my hobby.

I've been in this anime game along time, took alot of explaining. Fights of how a grown man shouldn't watch soo many cartoons in Japanese no less, but I am a samurai warrior and I have won each time so my family who visit my home let me be in my manga/anime hours.

Yep. I'd be embarrassed pretty much at any of it. It would be unbelievably uncomfortable sitting there watching typical anime in front of them. They'd just keep asking why I'm watching bug eyed moe-moe uguu girls say shit in japanese and how weird it is, even anime without girls with any sex appeal (doesn't exist right?) they just would be completely weirded out by it.

Best just to not show anyone.

No. I have anime figures in my room. My computer wallpaper is an anime char in semi-lewd pose. My family knows I watch actual porn not just hentai so vanilla anime is no biggie.

Actually, young kids pester me to watch anime when they come to the house. That or play computer games or that thing called FB...

Not really, no.
I am not really a huge weeaboo fanatic about it myself either so I never really felt like I have this ''dirty little secret'' (lol)
Plus my youngest sister enjoys anything cartoon and is too young to really care about understanding the plot and conversations so she loves to watch it whenever she comes to visit.
