Just because Light is an anti-social insane genius doesn't mean there aren't any redeeming qualities (if youre staying subjective). anyway, now im getting quite off-topic so i'll post something to be on the safe side of things.. Favorite villain (after somewhat intensive searching) was the anti-spiral portrayed in TTGL, as he did not show any understanding of human norms. |

| Best villian? I would have to pick Schneizel from Code Geass R2. Not just that he was a genius, the guy even managed to recruit some elite members onto his crew. Half of his elite crew members happened to be good guys with good intentions, ironically. |

| There are three characters that come to mind. Firstly, Gauron from Full Metal Panic! He is such an interesting character with a lot of personality (and great voice acting). He seems a genuine threat and completely gets under Sousuke's skin, offering the show some great tension and confrontational scenes. He's definitely one of the main reasons I enjoyed FMP so much. Second, Legato Bluesummers from Trigun. Legato is a very unique antagonist who - rather than traditional, forceful means - attacks the hero by using psychology and emotion. He's one of the very few people to really get to Vash and though Legato only has a rather brief appearance, he leaves such a massive impression. Lastly, alongside Legato, I'd go for Knives Millions (also from Trigun). Knives seldom appears until very late into the show, but when he does, shit gets real. Vash's maniacal counterpart - what more can be said. A remarkably menacing 'final boss' following Legato (with a perfect villain name). |
