SunnyCon. What is it? Well, it is the newest convention in the UK, taking place on March 24th-25th 2012 at Crowtree Leisure Centre, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. It promises to be the biggest and best anime convention in the North-East and is attracting some big names. SunnyCon will host panels with their soon-to-be-announced guests, cosplay contests, masquerades, workshops, skit contests (including an online only contest for those who can't make it to the convention on the day or who are too shy to get up on stage), martial arts demonstrations, traditional Japanese dance, language lessons and a ton of merchandise, plus more to come! The first big guest at our convention is... Chris Sabat! That's right - Chris Sabat - the voice of pretty much half the characters of Dragonball Z and prolific Funimation Voice director and actor.
