I'm currently still in weight loss mode. In the morning I go jogging around my town. I consume around 600-800 calories a day. I weight lift 2 times a day every day. Basically I eat small portions of healthy food. And work out.
I'm down to 204 lbs from 295 Lbs. Or 92 kg from 133 kg.
That's like a single meal's worth of calories. Sure it might work wonders in the short run for weight loss, but as you progress you're just going to starve your body. It's better to lose weight slowly by taking in just a little bit less than your daily need, otherwise you'll end up burning yourself out.

you need atleast 1200

By not giving a fuck. I dont work out at al I dont have a routine or some plan. I just eat until I am full but not more and happen to have a taste that makes me have a balanced diet naturally.

I dont try, it just happens.

Oh well, I hope it gets in your control sooner or later though. So long as it doesn't have threatening consequences, all is well I suppose.

I guess I used to count my calories, and now I know how much to eat that will maintain my weight. Sometimes I eat less, but then I eat more other times to gain it back so I'm not a skeleton.

No idea, I am doing sport almost every day, so I guess that's why I am not gaining anything or maybe it's just because I don't eat a lot in general.

i exercise quite a bit....6-7 times a week and watching my calories with one cheat day that being Saturday. I have lost quite a bit of weight 45 pounds so far which is half way from where I want to be.

I do interval training on a stationary bike for an hour and then I run/walk either outside if it's nice out or on the treadmill for an hour. Usually I burn over 1,500 calories from just that. I also were a pedometer so I can count my steps per day so I burn quite a few calories from just walking.

Usually eat around 1,200 calories per day but it just depends on how much I burn so that I can at least have a 1,000 calorie deficit per day.

Trying to get jacked right now because of an upcoming cosplay lol. So just doing 200-300 squats a day/every other day and some leg exercises.

I maintain weight by working out everyday or so, and eat 900-1300 calories a day. If I find myself gaining weight I'll just eat less for the week or so.

Read some these responses, not good guys!! Don't be so hung up on your weight, it's just a number. If you want to get skinnier, eat at a caloric deficit and take multivitamins so you don't get malnourished. Yes it sucks, but you can do it!! If you get too tired or sore running, then don't! Simply walking is enough! The key thing is you do something, even if you're going to the gym to do one exercise and leave, the key is simply going.

For me it's pretty tough maintaining my weight because I don't have alot of money right now (college :/ )
I'm eating at about 2k calories per day, but I'm eating 140g of protein a day (alot of protein powder!) to maintain my at least some of my muscle mass. I should probably be eating closer to 2.5k or 3k calories per day, but it's tough to find cost effective ways to eat that much per day. :/ Oh well, hopefully after graduation I'll be able to eat on a bigger budget.

Do you exercise?
Yes, I go running on a regular basis.
Do you count your calories?
No.
Do you eat healthy?
I try to, but if I find some goodies, I will indulge.
Or do you not care because you're already skinny?
I'm already skinny, but I do try to be conscious of my health.
Do you have an interesting weight loss/getting jacked story to tell?
Not really. I'm an ectomorph, so I have an extremely hard time gaining weight. I've lost weight by accident, though, if that counts.
Motivational advice?
If you want to exercise, do it. Quit talking about how you wish you were in shape. Get in shape.

I don't count my calories but I always try to have a balanced diet, so every time I cook I try to include at least 2 different sorts of vegetables and stay away from food that is high in fat. I also exercise at least once a week if possible.

I have this as well. But I don't want to gain weight. My mum could eat whatever she wanted until she was 30, when she had my sister apparently she lost her ability to not gain weight. Although she's never been fat so it just might be her fear of putting on weight that she is stressed about it.

I don't exercise, count my calories or eat healthy. I never really had to worry about any of that because I've always been fairly skinny. Although, over the past several years whenever I had gained some weight I went into a panic mode and tried to eat less or exercise which worked pretty well for me.

My BMI right now is 20.7 (lately gained some wight >.<) and I'm trying to eat less junk food, but it's not like I'm dedicated.

I exercise 5 days a week although since switching to an all plant based diet I actually have to eat more to maintain my weight or else I'll lose too much weight. I already have a small frame so I really can't afford to loose weight like that.

And I don't exercise at all lol. Walking is as far as I'll go.

I've always been extra attentive when it comes to counting calories since a really early age...probably about 9 or 10, and I was diagnosed with an eating order at the age of 13. It's a lot better now, but such obsessive behaviours never completely disappear and I can have days (even whole weeks) where It's absolutely dreadful and I feel like my life and decisions will solely revolve around my weight and eating habits.

To this day, I still won't eat or drink anything unitl I know the exact amount of calories in it. Although no matter how bad it might get, I make sure to eat between 1100-1300 calories per day of really healthy food and that's enough for me since my daily intake was a LOT less than that a few years back (the lowest I went was 600kcals a a day...yikes). I don't really exercise all that much either so it works for me and I'm sitting at a healthy weight of 8 1/2 stone. Once a month I'll have a treat meal and some sweets...that's the general pattern I go by now!

since i'm home over the holidays it's not that easy, but i don't eat after 7-8pm, exercise a bit and try to drink more water. i also don't stuff myself as i used to - i don't count calories anymore, but i try to make healthier choices

when classes begin i'm back to living alone as a broke student so i don't eat as much and walk a lot.

(i lost around 16 pounds and another 16 would be cool, but i have a perfect bmi now so i'm not really in a hurry)

I basically exercise whenever I can and feel like it. I always try to get some type of cardio in for a nice warm up and focus on different parts of my body to build some nice body definition and to stay fit.

I also avoid any drugs / addictive stuff so I can continue on with a healthy lifestyle. I eat both healthy foods and sometimes junk food. I drink primarily water and hardly any caffeine drinks ever. I generally eat about 2x / 3x more food than most Americans at every meal. I just burn it off to remain rather fit and healthy.

So I mean, by eating right (not junk food all the time) and getting a well balanced diet while maintaining a caloric deficit, a healthy body can be achievable. Obviously it may be easier for someone who has a higher metabolism rate or aren't easily addicted to stuff, and etc, but it's achievable.

I will never count my calories unless it's for a class assignment or something. Honestly I feel like I have better things to do than to be stressing over every little ingredient and amount of nutritional value in food. It's all chemical anyway.

I generally eat pretty "healthy". Just your regular veggie and meat diet. Some junk food (soda, chips, cake, etc) once-thrice a month. I'm fairly thin but I'm going to start a workout routine soon and then maybe I'll finally be able to do a few push ups.
