| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Finally! After 1 week without OP, it feels we get a good dose of it this chapter with the moster trio: Luffy, Zoro and Sanji going all out against the Kraken with their personal bubbles...and Gomu Gomu Elephant Gun? WTF? Well at least we know what CoA can be used for in Luffy's gear(although it may be useless considering Luffy's underwater) LoLs at Frankys nipple lights and good news that caribou's men are out of the picture as they looked useless(even as enemies), although we probably will see them again....now hopefully caribou will be just a side character for this arc as I'd hate to see him as part of the SH crew ...also note the shark wearing pappaggs design clothes |

| Lol at Light nipples, and Usopp still does a great job at being the straight man character. Still Frankies missiles were cool, and Sanjis Blue Walk technique is nice, wanted to see more Zoro. Chopper and Robin did nice as well, theyve improved, but still nothing new as of yet. Usopp nothing, but eh, we all know their abilities wont be fully shown till be see then against worthy enemies. Im still hesitant about Caribou joining, but eh it kinda reminds me of Duval or Hachi, you might hate them in the beginning, but they went to grow on you. Im just saying, I doubt it as well, but One Piece is best with its characters unlike other shounens. Cant wait to see what trouble the 'monster trio' get into. |

| That was a nice way of showing us peeks at everyone's upgraded strength. Every week I shed a single tear for Sanji, he's been through so much. I like what all that running has done for him though. And Light Nipples?! HA! That's one hell of an upgrade. This series' comedy never disappoints me.  |

| Oda is such a magnificent bastard! I always loved the deep sea bottom. Giant underwater monsters are amongst my favorite things and I'm sure Oda will deliver. Oh wait he already has. Loved seeing all those new powers, Robin was the one who surprised me the most. And I'm really wondering what kind of monster can take Luffy's new attack without dying instantly. I mean a gear third fist powered with Haki? Insane. | Not sure it was worth the two week wait. Even if it is OP, it still seemed a little farfetched in comparison to other stuff they've done. I know they've gotten stronger, but still. Maybe when it's animated I'll like it more. |

| lol awesome chapter. nipple lights ftw. odd outcome of the kraken fight though, i was so sure luffy was gonna just knock it out with haki to tame it without injuring it =/ but this was pretty cool too. and i guess now with sanji's new technique, they dont really need a fishman anymore. which would free up 1 spot in the roster for a logia type... but no. just, no. |

This isn't bleach or naruto lol :p It was a great chapter, and definitely worth the wait since it showed the crews powers a bit more(looks like Robin has gear third hands too now lol). And how is it a little far fetched? They didn't really do any new superpowered moves, everyone just did some basic move, just powered up, and in a believable way. Sanjis legs got stronger, and it seems like he has some kind of 'flash step' now.. and remember, this is underwater.. Imagine how fast he would be on land? He'll probably be like Kizaru and basically be able to teleport! Luffys gear 3rd stronger(no idea what that black thing is meant to be, maybe it's some super hard coating?), and lastly.. Zoro's move seems just like a generic slice, nothing special at all except for the new name .. It's not like Luffy used Haki and just stared it to death.. which would definitely be 'far fetched' in comparison to the norm. Is that what you would have preferred? If not, then what would you have proposed? We all knew that they were going to take out the Kraken, I thought Luffy would have just taken it out with some Kings Disposition/Haki . I wonder if the three of them ended up taming the KraKeN, and that the Kraken is going to be the one who takes them to Fishman 'Island'? Is it even called that? Aren't islands meant to be the part that makes up the land surface above water? lol. And one last thing.. how the hell can those fish survive those kinds of pressure? Is there fish that survive under water at those depths/pressures? Wouldn't that make their bodies tougher/stronger than like the strongest metal(like the one used for Frankies deep sea shark-submersible). Can't wait for next weeks chapter. Should be awesome, as always. EDIT: Oh yeah. Luffy's gear third arm reminds me of Popeye, with the massive forearms! Can't believe i didn't notice until now. Same as for Garp and shit.. they are all sailors. I can't help but wonder if that's where Oda got his inspiration from..  See the similarities? Or is it just me? :P |

It was an okay chapter, I really enjoyed the new crew members power and I am really glad we got to see something from Robin. Glad to see she got a power up and not just some information from being with Dragon. The chapter overall just felt a little rushed, it was still a good chapter, just feel like it could've been better. 4/5 |
| Great chapter ! We've seen preety much a taste of the new powers for most of the crew and i just lol'ed when Franky did "Nipple Lights " The only thing i dont like about this chapter is that couribo ship was destroyed and I really hope that couribo is not the new future crew member. |

| We got a taste of their improved abilities. Basically for most of them it's the same abilities but enhanced except maybe Usop that completely changed them and Franky that put new things on him. Especially surprised by Robin using giant arms because i was really wondering if there was an improvement of power for her and it seems there was. I just can't wait until they meet a really strong fellow and have a go with him. I want to see what they can do. I am though a little disappointed from not seeing yet anything about what happened to the rest of the world after the two years. How are the ex-supernovas? What did the government wanted with Buggy. Is there a new yonku? What was Blackbeard doing all this time. Fighting the big octopus is fun and all but i really want to get over with all this fishman island staff and just learn about the others and also see the crew making it's way in the new world establishing their name to a new status. |

Dude, you must have incredible patience to prioritize that over missing 2 years of great character interactions. I expect, and would like to see, at least 10 more chapters of nonsensical, random events before we get back to the all-encompassing plot. I missed the comedy. |
