| Shiori sees Miku as a threat to Hinako. I wonder how long she knew but it seems Miku can sense her scent and presence. I kinda like Miku though. She brings out more energy and treats Hinako like a friend. It'll be interesting to see how Shiori deals with her social interactions between Miku, Hinako, and others. |

| Things are getting rather spicy between the main trio. Wow. Quite a shocking reveal about Miko. But she's still is such a sweetheart and great friend. Hinako is lucky to have her. I just hope nothing bad happens between Miko and Shiori. Those cooking scenes were hilarious. :P |

That doesn't really change the fact about anything that they've been together as friends and also protected Hinako as well from dying ever since. Also don't get the whole if you know their parents etc banter as I have a lot of friends of which I've never visited their houses either nor seen their parents faces and what not. |

| Well, that's interesting, finally go to see where Miko fits in all this and her placement between Shiori and Hinako made the situation more complicated. The extra story about Hinako learning how to cook is pretty nice and the Miko ED is great!  |
| What in the peak fiction did I just witness?! This anime just keeps getting better and better with each episode! It's great to see! I'm so glad that, unlike Whisper Me a Love Song, this anime is showing the complete opposite by only getting better and better! We also received a unique ED featuring amazing visuals of Miko dancing! It's so rare for a yuri anime to do that! I love it! |

| Man I Love Fairouz Ai. The voice switch, everytime, it's just so good. Special Miko ED and Fai-chan did the illustration too!  --I did got the idea that Miko might be a "Miko" or a Yokai too based on last episode's ending scene but not to this extent, those past memories with Hinako are all fake!? But still, Miko does look like she really cares about Hinako, she's been protecting her all this time after all, and she event taught her how to cook for herself. +The way she hates Shiori because she's a yokai that eat humans and she also call the other yokai as mere "meats", Miko is definitely one of the good ones. Her smartphone was a foreshadowing! Miko's Fox Form looks cool! WE MUST PROTECT THIS SMILE AT ALL COST!  I can't get enough of this Shiori lol  |

| Yandere showdown at the start with Miko bluntly asserting she will protect Hinako... and then Hinako appears and then Miko acts like nothing had happened and denies anything happened at the cafe. Miko chan...real identity is revealed....why did shiori chan did this and angered her both of them are doing the same work they wanted the same thing but exposed miko chan and angered her, they should work together in order to fight that great yokai. |
| The tension between Miko and Shiori though was well done. Miko being the protector of Hinako does make a lot of sense though. Otherwise there's no way she would have survived so long without aid. Revelation about Miko aside the animation for that scene was just beautiful. Surprised that Hinako was that bad at cooking before Miko managed to change that. Miko's true form sure was a shock but given the protection she provided Hinako until now hoping that she won't actually be a villain. That last segment though was pretty fun and did well to showcase their bond. |

| HOLY SHIT WHAT AN EPISODE!! “An inconvenient person at an inconvenient time” here’s the spice in my lesbian love triangle I been waiting for, but I didn’t think it’d happen like this!! We still love you Miko! I knew there would be more to Miko’s apparent happy go lucky mentality as there always is with those sorts of characters, but I didn’t see her being a Yokai herself!! It kinda explains her attachment to Hinako though. No wonder she’s so close to her and doesn’t wanna let her out of her sight. I love the soundtrack during the initial confrontation at the start of the episode with Miko and Shiori and the big reveal at the end. Really haunting and gives off that supernatural vibe. So I’m guessing Hinako’s pain and desperation after losing her family created a scent that was attractive to Miko and she just latched onto her and protected her like an older sister, whether or not she had ulterior motives for that initially I don’t know, but I do believe she genuinely loves Hinako now and tbh that’s what matters. Does all of this invalidate she and Shiori relationship? IMO no, because like I said, Miko clearly loves Hinako fr, but it’s also a relationship built on lies which is fundamentally wrong. You could argue Miko didn’t directly lie to Hinako, but it’s still lying by omission aka white lies. Shiori exposing the truth was messy, but tbh necessary because Hinako should be able to decide for herself if she wants to continue this relationship with Miko knowing all the facts. You can’t just end the episode on that cliffhanger after all those twists and turns with 5 minutes left lmao wtf!! The Watatabe high school cooking class skit after all that drama is diabolical, but I will always take any Miko/Hinako yuri moments I can get. Cannot wait to see how things go next week, but we still team Miko idc. They could never make me hate her. |

| So Miko is not just a friend to Hinako, her even seeing Shiori as a threat to her for trying to harm her friend, the gloves are finally off between the two of their utmost secrets. The connection of which only is towards Hinako, the childhood friend and the hidden yokai which the latter managed to purse the student register somehow to reveal that she's not who she is, Miko's reputation is at stake here. The hard questions come from Shiori where Hinako is questioned about her "loyalty" to Miko, and her not being able to answer that by having the latter to expose her real identity to the friend who's always believed in her, the true colours of the 9-tailed fox that Miko is, will Hinako be able to accept who her friend is...FOR REAL? The extras with Hinako and Miko in the former trying to cook food, and the latter having to supervise her every step of the way to appease Hinako, what a good friend Miko is. Even her own special ED for this episode is just fun. |

| Damn, wasn't expecting Miko to be a monster as well !! She's a Kyubi, right!? And a massive one at that 😮😮 But at least she seems to be a good one who doesn't want to eat Hinako. She has been there for her right from the start since Hinako lost her parents and by turning into a cheerful girl she tried to keep Hinako lively as much as she could. I hope Hinako sees that. They brought the seriousness of the ep down suddenly after switching to that cooking segment right after that reveal lol And loved that new ed with Miko.. Fairouz Ai, you beauty✨💖 |

| Honestly, I don't understand why I suddenly have to switch sides from Miku,by the way her phone case hinted at who she was, to Shiori, considering she's protected Hinako for years, never harmed her, and cared for her as best she could, considering who she is. I also have a minor gripe about the episode itself; it's excellent, but the constant repetition of previous episodes, and this one's unexpected special, feels odd. But in any case, it's a great special. |

| Wow Ninetales... It was obvious Miko was yokai who protected Hinako, only reason she survived this long both mentally and physically. She helped the poor girl so much but still it will be a huge betrayal to Hinako that her only friend doesn't even exist. Her situation doesn't ever get better.. Not sure what's Miko goal is but will b surprised if it's as wholseome as it seems. Detective Shiori is awesome and the way she teared down Hinako was great. Mermaid v Ninetales yandere battle less go. Good thing that cute cooking scene existed before the brainrot ED. |
| I must confess I wasn't very invested at the beginning but now that the stakes are getting higher I'm kinda in? Of course I am rooting for the redhair. The ending was INSANE by the way. |

| Weekly appreciation to the opening, gotta also give praise to the Miko inspired ending song for this episode it was very cute Funnily enough this episode basically ended the same way the last one did, with Miko and Shiori looking like they're about to fight, just this episode revealed the truth about Miko. I was definitely right to be interested in her she is far more mysterious than Shiori and Hinako. At first I had assumed that maybe Miko was a childhood friend of Hina and at some point in Hina's childhood this fox Yokai came along and killed Miko and took her place masking as Hina's friend. But looks like I was wrong instead Miko just basically planted herself inside Hina's memories and has been playing the part of friend. Which makes me wonder how long she's been doing this and why. The funny thing is right now it honestly makes more sense to take Miko's side over Shiori's. Cause remember Shiori's goal is to kill and eat Hina once she gets ripe enough. Where Miko has been protecting her all this time and at least so far has shown 0 intentions of wanting to eat her. Like to me at least right now Miko just looks like someone with close affection to Hina who wants to protect her friend. It's definitely possible she has bad motives but right now this feels more like a Miko has to defend Hina from Shiori situation. And I mean like who cares if she's a yokai if she just wants to be Hina's friend or romantically likes her then I mean hell who says she and Hina have to separate. Cause again realistically Shiori is the bad one here. But I suppose we still need to learn more about Miko. I feel like its kinda weird to route for Shiori considering she wants to kill Hina. I know its what Hina wants too but what we should be hoping for is for Hina to become happy and live happy and I mean so far Miko's played a part in that so Im honestly routing for Miko here. I will say I really hope if they do fight Miko easily beats Shiori or at least their on par. Cause it will be really boring if Shiori just easily beats her. Right now my biggest question's is how long as Miko actually been in Hina's life and does Miko have good intentions with her. I assume she does for now though Amazing episode overall though I've seen a lot of Yokai types of creatures in anime but this form is so frickin cool I'll be amazed if the mangaka comes up with something cooler |

| @ImmortalZero I assume Shiori's problem with Miko is that she's protecting Hina, meaning when the hypothetical time comes that Shiori tries to eat Hina when she becomes happy Miko will protect Hina. Cause remember in all of this Shiori is technically the bad one considering she literally wants to eat Hina. and I mean Miko don't look weak so I presume Shiori sees her as a real threat |

| Miko's secret is out, and Hinako can only look on in shock... It surprised me that we'd get this type of twist this early on in the anime. I definitely could see something was up with Miko, but I didn't think she'd be a yokai too necessarily. That said, it doesn't erase the fact that she has been Hinako's friend, and that she'd do anything to protect Hinako. It does definitely complicate things between the three characters involved, and things look like they'll get spicier from here. Honestly, I hope that Miko and Shiori work together to protect Hinako from the beasts that want to eat her. I'm very excited to see what comes next now. |
| There’s the Miko youkai reveal, it was pretty easy to see coming tbh, but I think the way it was done was good despite being able to predict it, and I actually wasn’t expecting the aspect that Miko planted fake memories in Hinako. Even if she’s been truly protecting Hinako all this time with no ulterior motives, it is a bad look honestly, and it would be really shocking to find out your closet friend has been lying to you all this time so I’m curious how Hinako is gonna take this info, will she cut things off with Miko or stay friends? I’m thinking she’ll stay friends because despite Miko hiding her true identity and false memories, they did share real moments like we saw at the end of the episode, so I don’t think it’s over for Miko and Hinako’s relationship. Now I just wonder if Miko is also planning to eat Hinako or not, I kinda feel like she’s not because of the way she sniffed out Shiori being a youkai that eats humans (saying Shiori stinks is wild tho lol), but I guess we gotta wait and see on that. Also, I was thinking Miko was a Nekomata because of the way she was portrayed in a cat-like way in some comedy bits, but the monster form looked more like a fox so I’m not sure, maybe they’ll reveal what kind of youkai she is exactly in the next one. And lastly, fitting for this episode to have a Miko centric ED, that dance and song were adorable, and did it say that drawing at the start was by Ai Fairouz? She’s a really good artist if so. |
