| Gotta give Yuuri at least some credit for trying to make things right. I underestimated her but her powers still seems to need improvement. It's hard to say exactly who Yuuri can trust now but Jina seems to be someone she could look up to. SQ might be the least trustworthy. She gives off creepy vibes and hard to know what she's planning. |

| This has to be one of the most unique anime I’ve ever seen. Everything from the art, animation, plot, it just all feels so fresh. Love these first two episodes, but this one was frustrating! Lmao Setsu just told this dumbass not to trust anyone and what he go do? Trusts Jina and gets packed up as a result. It’s not like Re:Zero where everything will stay the same when you loop, it’s more like he’s going into different world lines so that means you can’t assume the Gnosia from the previous will be the same as the current one! Jina was so obvious to me, way too nice to the MC, too desperate to prove she could’ve be trusted and she just preyed on Yuri’s suspicions of SQ and drove a wedge between Yuri and Setsu getting everyone to vote Setsu into cryo sleep. I feel like the indicator of the Gnosia in every loop is gonna be who tries to get close to Yuri randomly. SQ in episode 1, Jina in episode 2, looks like green haired girl in this next episode. Yuri gotta lock in and start considering each world line as its own thing and stop being so naive!! I’m still laughing about Racio talking all that shit and being the one to die lmao |

| The anime's second loop actually features more events than the original game, including a romance one with Gina which iirc, is only shown later on. I think it's pretty reasonable for the pacing and narrative coherence. Hoping no one will blame Yuri for their choices because it's a 50-50 situation whatsoever. Can't wait to see Shigemichi and Stella next week, as well as the introduction of role. Btw, for anyone wondering, the way Yuri senses Gina's lies is based off the game mechanics. When the Intuition stat is high enough, sometimes, there's a chance the player can detect someone's lying. |

| Yuri falling for the most obvious trick in the book, and does it twice in the row ;___; My guy can't stop taking Ls. So far Gnosia is shaping up to be the best anime of this season. It's insane how good is everything about this. Not only they took a pretty good visual novel, they upped the quality, the movement of characters is so fluid, very vibrant colors, voice acting is solid, OP and ED are both bangers. I'll see how they handle the actual "endings" / story beats, but I am very optimistic ^^ Wish Ever17 had the same treatment, too. Or Zero Escape. Both would have been amazing and maybe more people would get interested in playing them. I am not saying "remake Umineko", it's a given. |

| I'd never discount the possibility that I'm just a stupid and utterly wrong idiot (or that this is all intentional and will be explained later), but is it just me or does the "time travel" in this make absolutely no sense? Why would who the Gnosia is change at all? Surely they assumed an identity before Yuuri woke up, right? "Conditions be changing, yo" just feels insufficient as the rationale. Timelines shifting in retrospect like this usually isn't done for a reason. |

@Stark700 Are you kidding me? Jina might have done all that just to gain her trust. That was really peculiar, with the strange vibration/shockwave. Also right before the next time loop she looked really weird.

| @Sheol01 I'm guessing the Gnosia jumps from each person every warp, like it could've still been in SQ before the last warp @Ryan_the_Bread you're not stupid, we just don't know how Gnosia works yet it could be how much the timeline shifts, a big shift could be that the Gnosia chose a different person before they all board the ship, however if the timeline shift is small then it's just the Gnosia jumps person to person very easily making the voting irrelevant |

| @rassilon This is a difference between the anime and the game. In the game, the AI can only detect the presence of Gnosia during a warp (through some warp related mechanism), so it has to keep warping after each vote to confirm whether the Gnosia presence remains or not. This also explains why going outside the ship doesn't make a difference. The AI can't scan for Gnosia at that time anyway. |

I wasn't aware this was based on a game before going on here, but you can kinda tell that it's adapted from a VN by the very "game-y" logic at play. Like, if the gnosia can move freely during warp, why only bother eliminating one person at a time? They don't say how long the warp is going for, so they could have plenty of time to go around killing everybody for all we know. Also the ship can identify that there is a gnosia, but not who, why excatly? | Even after going through a time loop, Yuri couldn't save Setsu, and the Gnosia still killed him.. I can't blame him though, I would have trusted Jina too. Swaying public opinion is turning out to be pretty difficult even when you're right about one thing. |

I mean, they could explain it with something as simple as the gnosia sticks to killing one at a time because they like to mess with people and it would be a completely valid explanation. The bigger issue for me is the differences in the loops. You can't really explain that away with "just because." |

| @LuZeke The explanation for the Gnosia is more related to warp mechanics rather than something psychological like that And the difference in loops have a VERY valid and plot relevant reason for existing, that's all I'm gonna say |
| OK, the variation is kind of boring, since every time the MC will inevitable fail to pick up the Gnosia carrier or as hinted in episode one - the whole thing is a lie and something entirely different is going on. Not that big of a problem for me, but the other part of the show - the lore drop, which I guess we will get in every episode. was somehow generic and boring. The promise of more characters is not that appealing either. The concept sounds way better as game, adapting it sounds pointless to me. This is Higurashi no Naku Koro ni all over again, I am dropping the show. |

| As I thought the variables shifted and so the imposter was a different person this time around. However I am not liking this "six sense" Yuri had about Jina there. If that is supposed to flag who the imposter is I'd rather it not happen. I think it would be more interesting if the audience could play along in figuring out who the imposter is. |
| It seems people are missing something: in first loop Yuuri didn't have chance to interact with Jina because he was glued to Setsu. He didn't know how she normally acts. Whats more, as shown by SQ, characters act the same (she tried to be suspiciously friendly) regardless of being infected or not. So yeah, him not suspecting Jina, especially when the only tip about enemy changing between loops would also require him to trust words of someone else, is not surprising. Not to mention, it was his first time going to past. Not the best environment for long and careful analysis. |

| A lot of people are writing he or she for Yuri and being confused, but from the Crunchyroll subs, it seems that they are genderless as they are often referred to as either "Yuri" or "they". I was confused at first about how the Gnosia can change if it's a time loop. I failed to realize that time loop doesn't necessarily mean traveling back in time to the same reality. What seems to be happening is going back in time but also shifting to an alternate reality. Further proven by how the last scene of this episode shows a complete new set of characters. Saw people confused on how they don't just put everyone out of the ship one by one for the detectors and was confused as well. However, I saw someone mention that in the original game the A.I. can only detect Gnosia at warp. I think this omission from the anime is a major problem. Hopefully they will mention it in later episodes. Since I knew it couldn't be as easy as voting SQ out right away and winning, there had to be a twist. I think Jina was pretty obvious for this episode. I hope it won't continue as the person having the most screen time being the Gnosia. In any case, this anime certainly has my interest! |
