| You know it’s Gintama when it ain’t even a minute into the episode and they’re already going meta by taking digs on the production staff and yeah, referencing the most referenced series within this series, Dragon ball. Honestly, Gintoki and the gang have had their run, so it feels only fair they retire gracefully and let their “alternate versions” go to school this time… not that it changes much anyway xD In a way though, I thought the class would be much bigger, but hey, then it would've been even more impossible for these people to score 80% right? I mean you’ve people like Kondo and Kagura, who.. I mean, even after practically committing cheating still have very chances of failing lol. That aside, I can already see them arguing and going back and forth over every little thing all season long. But yeah, let’s be real, that is pretty much the Gintama way of life. It’s alright, I mean for being a spinoff and as a fanservice for people who wanted more Gintama. Guys survived the day as well, so there's that too lol. Btw, Shinpachi still playing the straight man, and taking the brunt of everything had me though. |

| Gintama is FINALLY back!...sort of, through novelist Tomohiko Osaki's spin-off LN series serialized since 2006. Gintoki passing the torch to his Sensei self, while tutoring the series' character mainstays in a school setting, it's the same gags you know and love about Gintama, just a lot zany this time with Shinpachi, Kagura and the rest. The antics really are just Gintama alright, classic and hokey-pokey at best. Botchi Boromaru's OP is quite the nostalgia for interpretation purposes. Gintama fans, you're in for a treat! |

| WE'RE SO BACK, THAT WAS PERFECT!!! Seeing the characters exude their quirks, being handed the 'baton', and being exaggerated beyond their original gag-selves were perfect. Wonderful adaption of the first chapter of the LN, I caught that bobobo reference and it was just awesome to see the characters I love so much again doing what they do best in all their manzai glory! Welcome back gintama! |

| That was zany indeed. It's so good to see all the characters together once again and in a classroom 😄❤️❤️ I missed the tsukkomi and bokke of Shinpachi, Gin and Kagura. So glad to see Mayo freak Hijikata, sadist Sogo, Katsura, Elizabeth, Catherine, Otae. It's like the show never ended. That intro portraying them as Dragon ball characters lol And Gin-chan spilling the beans about this new anime production,haha We saw Kondo's ass getting punctured by Ayame..🤣😂 He does have a lot of hair on his ass as he often said in GINTAMA. Hedero still making everyone shit their pants just by giving the stare xD Mone playing the flute throughout the episode even when Shinpachi was getting smacked by everyone was ridiculous. Prince Hata as Principal and Otose as Chairman were so fun. I miss Tsukuyo and so many other characters. Can't wait to see the remaining characters in the upcoming episodes. |

| Within the first 3 minutes they broke the 4th wall, referenced Dragon Ball, and gave us some of that classic Gintama meta humor. We are so back 🙏 It feels great to see all of these characters again, even if it’s in the form of a spin off. I’ll take it lol. It’s been a while since I’ve watched anything Gintama-related, and I admittedly still need to go back and finish the final arc, but this is the same Gintama I remember. This is definitely gonna be a fun time 💀 |

The beginning was already hilarious and they kept Gintama's original spirit, it was awesome to see most of the characters again, even the flower ogre guy and the justaway are in the class LMAO. | Gintama is back after so long i missed it so much 😭 the characters seemed to rely on their tropes a little too much but maybe its just to reintroduce them. I love love love gintama i cant wait to see where this goes, the opening was just like the classic ones it gave me so much nostalgia |

| Good ep After all those times watching the small Ginpachi excerpts at the end of some eps, we are finally able to enjoy their silliness in its true glory. Love how they be hating on the milking of the franchise and even the production committee, etc. Nice to see the gang once more, truly a pleasure to see their eccentric attitudes within a high school setting. Ah yes, Sacchan too funny with her sneaky abilities cause damn, like she really appeared just to puncture a man's behind. Man oh man, she still enjoys natto😂 Lol, Shinpachi really thought the class was with him, after being such a sellout. What a W for Otose, in being clutch. Been questioning this, but where is Tsukuyo, or will she be introduced soon? 9/10 |

| we have gintama back in 2025, this is the best thing ever. i'm so glad to see this cast back and even hear their voice actors again, sacchan especially made me laugh. the dragon ball references were hilarious again, as well as the passing of the ''baton''. hope we get tsukuyo in it too, to make this spinoff a masterpiece. |

| Spectacular episode. Loved it from start to finish. Oh, how I missed you guys, Gintoki, Ayame, Kondo, Toushirou, Sougo, Shinpachi, Kagura, Katsura, Taizo, Hedoro, Tae, Elizabeth, Catherine, Otose, and Baka Ōji. I missed every single one of them, I swear. I’m really glad to have them all back. I know this is probably the last we’ll ever get from Gintama, but the fact that these bonus manga chapters were actually animated is more than enough, especially considering the anime already ended perfectly, just as Gintoki said before passing the torch to Ginpachi. |
