Panty's booger in this episode was as almost as big (if not as big) as Gengai's. The sexual nose picking waws funny! I also swear when I sneeze, I don't say fuckchoo though. I just say fuck or shit. The food and the snot looked way to similar. I'm watching this anime dubbed but I had to rewatch some of this in sub when I read that Sugita Tomokazu voiced a character :D I love hearing Gintoki in other anime! The little girl who likes Panty & Stocking who was being influenced by them and swearing was funny xD The animation was great in the second half. I loved seeing the two art styles colliding with each other. My favourite episode so far! |

| That second part though...that really hit hard. I've been loving this show - but that segment was really well done. It came out of nowhere & felt really experimental (this whole show is kinda odd & experimental though - with its bizarre references to American Cartoons & Tokusatsu shows & its gross lewd humor) but also very depressing and somber. It was something I genuinely didn't expect - that's saying a lot since I've known about this show for a few years now - but then again Gainax was (is - with Trigger - I guess) all about surprising. |

| I'm considerably weaker than apparently most of the viewers here because the first part made me a bit sick to my stomach. Even though I did enjoy how they played around with the innuendos, there was a few parts where I had to look away. Second part... It gave off a bit of a depressing vibe... but I guess I didn't really dislike it. It was interesting and I just... wow. It definitely surprised me. It wasn't exactly a negative surprise either. I kind of found myself on the lines with this episode. However I'm still excited to see what next episode will bring! :D |

| Good episode, might be the first one where I really liked both shorts. The first one was pretty sophomoric. And weird. And under explained. So basically it's a solid representation of this series. It didn't have any seriously weird fetishes or jokes in bad taste that ruined it basically. And the ending blimp fight was one of the most entertaining fights of the series so far. I guess what really made it work for me though. That the central joke of treating nose picking like an erotic act was really funny. In particular I got a kick out of Panty and Oscar picking each others noses in that one scene. Kind of felt bad for Stocking at the end though. The second one meanwhile is honestly one I'm still scratching my head about. But in a good way. This short tried something very different. It changed up the art style a little. Though Panty and Stocking's blocky character models remained unchanged and stood in stark contrast to their surroundings to cool effect. Basically though I never expected an episode that barely has the heroines in it. Choosing instead to focus on a random sad sack office drone in the same world as them. The ugly human character models were fascinating and interesting. While it's purpose is unclear to me, it actually told an effective story about a father doing his best for his daughter. And tied P & S in at the end. Plus the scene where he vomits everywhere was really cool. Reminded me of something Satoshi Kon might have done. |

| It gets weirder and weirder by the episode. I love it. The second half was just... wow. Grim, depressing, ugly and disgusting. The animation was magnificent. That was amazing, probably pinnacle of this show, doubt that anything will beat that in those 8 episodes, looking forward to them. |

| The first half of the episode was just like any other, except much more disgusting and I didn't enjoy it very much. The second half was really interesting with the darker theme and the more realistic animation, but the ending really fell flat imo and it just didn't live up to its potential. |
| Despite the initial nauseting beginning this was a very boring episode down to the trite the world of today is gloom maybe they should have stuck to their bad sex jokes. Stocking is not that good to keep watching this, bye. |
| I can't believe I'm just realizing every episode has a theme. This duo of episodes is gross out humor! The first one was pretty goofy with more insight to how over the heels brief is for panty. While the second one was a neat showing of how those down in their luck interact with panty and stocking! I thought he died and became a ghost, but it seems he was just possessed. I'm glad they were able to get that autograph for his daughter! |

| I really loved what they did with the second half. For this show it feels unique and different but still fits in with the vibe of the series, plus it was kind of sad and depressing. |

| Dude, what the actual hell was this. Suddenly the entire show turned into a whole Satoshi Kon hommage on top of tackling some societal issue and the whole artstyle looks NOTHING like the entire show up to that point. Imaishi is so fucking great at referencing animation into anime itself, no one deserves the title of king of Otaku than him, simply the GOAT. SOOOOOOOOOO many people were filtered by this in 2010 and still are today lmao, at least I know my knowledge of this medium FAAAAAARR exceed those of people back 15 years ago, imagine being so ignorant you don't know who Kon is the year he dies, I hope they all did their reps afterwards. |

| What the fuck was the first half. Can't believe I watched that disgusting shit. I thought the 2nd half would be disgusting too because of the name but it completely caught me off-guard. Maybe that was the point. That was very clever. The artstyle shift in the 2nd part of the episode came outta nowhere. It looks like a Satoshi Kon anime. Did he direct this part? Wouldn't be surprised if he was involved in some way. Anyway, this was nothing like any previous episode which shocked me the most. Panty and Stocking didn't even properly appear until much later. Panty's "anime" form was on TV so Ig that was kinda cool? Ig we'll never see that transformation scene again. Anyway, the main focus was the old guy who's earnest but still seems to screw things up. It was nice to see that he was trying to be a good employee and a father I suppose. But the most interesting part was that this was probably the first time they showed how a ghost is made. It's about what I expected. But it was pretty cool. Panty and Stocking did show up in the end but it was in their usual artstyle which was pretty funny. Shame that they didn't show up to the girl's birthday. But they at least gave her something. Better than nothing. Maybe they'd visit next time (yeah, fat chance). So, even though I hated the first part, the second part kinda redeems it. It was totally unexpected. I wonder if there are more experimental episodes like this one. |
| Idk why but this episode was funny asf 😭😭 Even the first half, which should've been a turnoff by being pottyish humor, was funny bc it seemed like a commentary on stupid trends and brainrot lmao The second half was rlly good too, funny and serious at the same time. Im glad it had a good ending for the little girl |
