| Damn, they mixed a lot of cases into this episode. Seems like it's following a sitcom type format where each episode deals with different problems together. For instance, the bomb disposal segment looked tense at first but this anime is so silly that it's much more comedic than it looks. Mashiro sure knows how to make an entrance though, and those meme faces are here again. |

| Knowing that Mashiro doesn't like ghosts and Nagumo thinks they are just illusions honestly makes me laugh. One day, a request to exorcise a ghost came to them. Their antics in chasing the ghost on the laptop made me want to laugh. In fact, Nagumo knows that the ghost is just someone cosplaying. The reason the NPC is cosplaying as a ghost is that they want to get closer to Mashiro. But the truth is, Mashiro caught a real ghost, lol. Forget about the pudding; what’s clear is that Nagumo was arrested on suspicion of stealing underwear. Mashiro and Nezu are pursuing the real culprit. Based on the evidence from the video, it seems to really be Nagumo, lol. I don't quite understand the route Mashiro wrote; does anyone know? Mashiro had just set a bait, and sure enough, the underwear thief appeared. That old man looks a lot like Nagumo. The pen is mightier than the sword? Does anyone know what that means? Three minutes before Mashiro explodes. The bomber appears; it’s a bomb inside a cardboard box. The police immediately dispatched a special team, but I like how Mashiro is taking selfies instead of photographing the bomb's wires. |

| Welp, if they can't handle horror shows, then both Nagumo and Mashiro shouldn't dabble in such material though... Mashiro's schoolmate Hayashida coming to her for help, though it's one that up to the horror elements again that she needs to overcome. Upon closer inspection, the recording of that exact ghost may have freaked Mashiro, but she'll do well to catch the ghost no matter how fast it is alongside Nagumo's deductive skills, which he inferred that it's Hayashida himself trying to pursue Mashiro instead, which Nagumo got quite the relationship shock of his own too. However, the real ghost being found by Mashiro, that's quite the shock lol. Nagumo being alleged for being a serial underwear thief, though he was once together with Chief Investigator Mimasawa as kid detective duos. The footage proving that it's the elusive detective, yet it depends on his reliable assistants Mashiro and Nezu to help track the real thief, which he looks obviously different than Nagumo. And Mashiro sure did the work to catch the thieves alright, as such with Knit Man's art and Mashiro's selfies making up for his bomb that's about to detonate in 3 minutes. And her tactic to do it: pose the Winning Eleven soccer poe and kick it...to Nezu's way lol. I swaar, this shows does all with the meme mugshots lol. |

| Literally kick a bomb with ground shattering force only for it to ricochet, land in front of Nezu and explode in a timely manner. RIP Nezu and his bad luck. The animation is pristine for this scene.  |

And there's nothing quite as embarassing than becoming a prime suscpect for a major underwear case which got broadcasted on the news, lmao. Would only be worse if it went viral to boot. The facial expressions are still hilarious, especially the pastel chalked freeze frames  Loving how goofy this is. |

I need to rewatch the episode just to remember what I originally meant to say. The first part of the episode was going smoothly, and then—boom! The second half kicked in and it was reference after reference after reference! References from *Dragon Ball*, *Fist of the North Star*, *Detective Conan*, and so many others! Did anyone catch the *Mashle* reference at the end too??? Wooooow I’m sorry, but I have to backstab *Witch Watch* and say this anime *absolutely crushed it*—in just one episode! Seriously, any anime that references *Detective Conan* instantly gets my full bias—but half an episode as a *Conan* parody?! They referenced movie 1 (the bomb), movie 2 (taking the bomb away), and the classic soccer ball scene! The only thing missing was Conan’s iconic *“Ikkeeeeeeee!!!”* scream! This was THE BEST. And those wild, sudden cuts and expressions? The animation? Mashiro’s entire existence?? Just seeing her makes me laugh so hard! I genuinely love Mashiro. Yes yes, the *One Punch Man* reference had me wheezing! Comparing Mashiro to Saitama and Vegeta just boosted my respect for her even more! But the part that made me *collapse* was when the protagonist said: *“As Sherlock Holmes once said—”* then paused like *“…I don’t remember what he said.”* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Ugh if I start writing about this episode I’ll *never* stop! This anime is a 10/10! Best episode I’ve seen in 2025, no question! Say what you want, I’m 100% biased toward this show! Tons of great frames! | Another silly episode that had a couple of different segments with the first one about a ghost that was a fake but Mashiro ended up catching a "real" one?? Then a pervert going around stealing girls' underwear that looked like Nagumo that Mashiro caught (good thing Nagumo hired her after all huh). I figured the pervert had a mask on but there wasn't any follow-up after he was beat up and apprehended so I'm not sure about that. Oh and there was a 3rd segment about a guy that set up a bomb but Mashiro was able to run it to an old baseball field where Nezu was taking pictures. Now I wonder if he'll be back or if he's permanently gone... |

I didn't get the "tender" line part in episode 1, instead I got "it's not an easy job for a young and energetic girl like you. Easy... *blushing* " It would be more accurate to call him a perv instead of a pd. And the rest of the episode 1 and 2, he didn't seem to be attracted much to mashiro anyways |

| I like some visual gags, especially the super-detailed "serious" character shots, but most gags are just so-so, relying on tiny "lol random" bits. This probably works better as a manga or a 4-koma... But it's nice hearing Kana Hanazawa play loud, dumb characters. |
