| Zenos on a secret mission! Well, maybe no so secret but I have to admire that he had the guts to disguise himself for this investigation. It felt like there was some sort of conspiracy going on from behind the scenes within the city. It's hard to know who to trust these days but he did the best he could. |

| I love how Lily was all excited to be Zenos's wife, calling him "Honey," only for Umin to reveal that she's his little sister on paper. Then she started saying those certain suggestive lines about "something to eat, a bath, or her," and Zenos just silenced her by pointing out the sibling thing. She's such a cutie patootie, how could anyone ever eat her? We even got the face reveal of his master, and we learned that Zenos was training with another kid named Veritra. I wonder what happened to him. Cresson is nothing more than an idiot character with an annoying personality, doing nothing but making Zenos stand out even more. He had no shame in taking credit for what Zenos did just to boost his own name. Professor Goldran is a shady character with motives focused on improving his own standing and benefiting himself, so I wouldn't doubt that he's the reason why Afread is missing. |

| Some changes to the OP to reflect Zenos change of location. So far this new arc is pretty fun and lighthearted, but guessing it won't stay like that for long. A few intriguing moments of Zenos past were shown, I wonder what it means for future episodes. |

| So if I understand this correctly, the undead monster and ghosts showed up because of Carmilla being nearby or was it an unrelated incident? Regardless Zenos was able to take care of it and I hope that Cresson starts treating him with more respect and stops putting the spotlight on him since it has backfired every time. On that note I think Cresson pulled some shenanigans in order to become part of Goldran's entourage and it sounds like Goldran himself pull shenanigans of his own, birds of a feather flock together and all that. |

| Zenos is in a new place, and living with the little elf wifesister with his wraith stalkerwife...😳 Umi finally gets to have some lines... owo🥰 A new Aston is here...😶 Then, a character that's shady... almost called him u.. 😶 nvm. The background story of Zenos' master with a blue-haired character, I never saw it in the manga... They also toned down Zenos' master's "seriousness, which was rather disappointing... 😔 Funny episode, and I'm probably glad to see the "mega heal"'s animation as quite decent. 🤔 Carmilla's the culprit... 😅 |

| Some really good lore-expanding episode this one, and the animation during the Mega Healing spell was flawless wow. This anime is good |
| It was cool to see that the studio made alterations to the OP and ED in this episode to match how Zenos is at a different location. But, classic OP MC showing off with that one kid hating on him is a basic summary of this episode...is what I would say if it wasn't for that beautiful MEGA HEAL at the end by Zenos. Like the animation for this came out of nowhere and was absolutely amazing compared to anything else I've seen in this show (besides the undead queen Carmilla who seems to be causing some trouble for poor Zenos :}).   |

| Yay! A new arc. I'm kinda glad Zenos has moved on to better things since his situation at the demihuman district was getting repetitive. The lizard, wolf & orc women would at least be at the back burner while the story progresses. Carmilla tagging along is always a sure treat since she adds interest to the story. I'm really curious about her past now since it somehow ties to how mysterious and strong she is. The little elf girl is too clingy, and I hope she doesn't ruin the vibe of the story. |

| @Myetx Almost didn't watch it because of them. Instead binged through all 8 episodes. This anime is entirely formulaic but execution is great. My opinion that reviews are trash, ever since "Not Helpful" got removed, have been reinforced. |

| The subtle OP visual changes for the current arc is a nice refresh! Zenos being in the Royal Hospital for Becker's mission to investigate the issue of missing persons on his end, at least he's being well taken care of, though Lily sure wants to invoke the romantic partner role instead of the sister role Umin gave her, alongside Carmilla (just because she can go anywhere). And since everything is foreign to Zenos, Umin guides him through all of the riff-raff of the Royal Hospital, as well as rephrase to him of one of her fellow healers of Afread who's gone missing as well. As expected, there exists a level of nobility within the Hospital (of which Goldran's group is one, with Cresson Wembley being under his wing), which Zenos would do well to clear his way of. Given Zenos's naive intelligence to just wander into places willy-nilly, much less trying to be progressive, it's what he learns that draws the intrigue of professors seeing his high-level mana capability. And with the call to take down an army of undead, Zenos indeed has no trouble dealing with that, though it's his cockiness that he does not want to deal with, that with the hidden monster, the challenge for Cresson to prove himself by Umin having him eat his own words, he's just scrap for a classmate for her to collect his remains. Still, with undead being drawn to more powerful undead, this issue has grown to become quite the anomaly Zenos did not expect to find... |

| This Royal Hospital arc has peak OP underdog vibes. Zenos's teacher taught him well, but his standards for being a 3rd rate healer is very different and much higher then what everyone else would consider 3rd rate. I also wonder what happened to his fellow classmate Veritra. It was very nice of Cresson to give Zenos all those opportunities to shine. It'll be easy for "Zeno" to get Goldran's attention now. Lastly, I think Umin's delivery when she was mocking Cresson was great. Very satisfying to have her knock him down a peg. |

| So I guess the whole premise and even the title of the show has just been left behind at this point huh. And it’s not like anyone outside of his old party or the slums even knows who Zenos is, they were totally fine just dropping it and moving on. Anyway, they definitely made up for the lack of animation last episode with that final sequence. Once again, the team is clearly putting in effort to deliver something solid. |
