Hmm, looking for a 300 year old mandragora sounds almost fun.

Azusa showed some of her hotblooded side which I find amusing. She's still such a good role model though. But yeah, it's a witch's instinct that's shown in this episode with all the curiousity.

Please don't listen to this anime for gardening advice. Either they had a translation error, or don't know chemistry. You don't add lime to make soil acidic. It makes soil LESS acidic. If you want to make it acidic, add potash.

A new addition to the family and vegetables that taste better.
Guess the younger ones will learn to eat healthier food now.

Beel's garden seems to have taken some damage tho and the witches need to learn about trespassing and that it's illegal.

Ah, a new very adorable addition to the family. Definitely need more of Sandra bullying Halkara just because she's an elf.

A cute plant joins Azusa's family! She looks younger than the twins even though she's older in age. With that said, I was worried how she's gonna eat and stuff. It's cute how she's still acts like a plant does to live.

Another really sweet and wholesome episode! Love starting Saturday off with these girls. Azusa’s family just got bigger thanks to the addition of Sandra, another daughter for Azusa to spoil, even though Sandra is technically older πŸ˜‚ She’s adorable!

Was wondering what that thing moving underground from the end of last week’s episode and turns out it’s an evolved Mandragora that can talk, walk and looks just like a human! No way we could let Eno and her group just hunt/kill her! All worked out in the end since Sandra can just give her leaves to Eno for research and she can regrow them. Win win for everyone.

The big thing Sandra brings to the cast is healthier and more diverse food options. Being a plant and seeing her recommend vegetables is a bit funny, but who better right? πŸ˜‚ that cabbage and carrots looked really good and vegetables are much cheaper to grow than buying meat all the time!

Pretty fun episode, new cute character and as usual this went by way too quick! Can’t wait to see what our family gets up to next

Nice to see Enos is doing well. Kinda sad that all those witches were hunting down a sentient creature to harvest it though. Glad that they found it before Enos did. Azusa taking custody of sandra was the best move. Still Sandra sure is pretty blunt. Her extensive knowlege on plants though is defo a boon to Azusa and friends though. She's a nice addition to the family though.

Damn Eno was pretty savage for a while in this episode, I was wondering how she could casually kill a human looking plant with a straight face, turns out she can’t lol, but I did enjoy the race to find the mandragora aka Sandra. And hey, at least Eno and the witches got to share a single leaf from Sandra’s head, and also have to repay Beelzebub in manual labor by tending her garden lol, everyone wins in the end, kinda.

And Sandra is a nice edition to the cast so far, I like how she naturally hates Halkara because she’s an elf (it was Halkara that exposed her location after all lol), and her interactions with Shalsha and Falfa were cute. And she’s already helping out the Azusa Family in improving their vegetables with some gardening help, although it’s funny that the line about lime was wrong lol, I wonder if that was a translation error or if the show was just wrong. I’m looking forward to seeing what Sandra brings from here, it should be a bit more lively than it already was at the Azusa Family home.

What did those silly witches expect when they showed up en masse in broad daylight, challenged a demon government official, and stormed her property? They're lucky Beel's a pretty soft touch overall, otherwise there would be jail or, even worse, soul contracts in their future.

Halkara: Aww, so cu...
Sandra: Elf bad! GAO! *snap*

Welp, there's another monster girl checked off the bingo card.

Such an adorable and funny episode. Firstly, I'm really glad Beelzebub actually punished Eno with an invoice for reparations due to the latter trespassing on the former's private property and ransacking her garden. I hope Eno learns the lesson that even if you want something badly, you should keep your emotions in check so as not to break the law and face the consequences — because that is what separates a child from an adult, Eno.

Eno and Beelzebub aside, Halkara was hilarious as heck, especially in that scene where she took a big preparatory breath before immediately shouting for Sandra not to get caught and turned into medicine by Eno's gang of witches. Instead, she told her to survive by leaping into Azusa's rack, letting Azusa assume custody of Sandra. Sandra immediately did exactly as told, followed by Azusa declaring her ownership of Sandra in front of everyone, while daring anyone to square up if they had a problem with it. Seriously, Halkara was the MVP, and Azusa was a real badass right there — but more than anything, the three of them were the cutest ever.

Moreover, I loved the fact that they brought Sandra back home with them, not knowing where else she could go, and taught her the two rules of the house: to always make up after fights and to always remember to smile. Such adorable vibes — this anime, I swear, I can't begin to describe how much I love it.

My glazing aside, I burst out laughing during that mealtime when the twin slime sisters didn’t want to eat their vegetables. Azusa asked them why, only for Sandra to go full "idgaf mode" and bluntly tell Azusa that her vegetables’ quality was bad — with Azusa bursting into tears upon hearing such a thing, haha. Sandra isn’t just adorable, but hilarious as well — I'm really loving her already.

In any case, I’m glad they were able to farm actually good-quality vegetables with Sandra acting as a guide, resulting in the twin slime sisters finally getting over their hatred of vegetables. After all, vegetables are healthy, especially for children. I'm excited for what's to come now that we’ve got a new member in our Azusa family!

Yet another episode, yet another day of enjoyable entertainment, this show always delivers in that regard. So far season 2 has been staying on par with season 1, which in this case is nothing but a good thing.

Does anyone else have opinions on the new studio now that we've seen a few episodes? For me personally the new studio is handling this series very well, the production so far has been about on par with Season 1, and the art looks SLIGHTLY different but it's not a difference that matters much for better or worse at the end of the day.
I like to watch some anime, I like to talk about some anime, I dislike wars over some anime, but more than anything I love to live my life, anime is an enjoyable and entertaining addition onto my life but it's not my whole life.

Kinda sad Sandra didn't stay with Beelzebub, since she's demonstrated before that she wanted a daughteru. She didn't seem to mind though.

Interesting that Sandra doesn't seem to mind people eating vegetables (despite hating Halkara for using herbs in general), and was willing to help out making them tastier.

The cute family grows.

EP 4

Its ep 4 already
Last time lots of bel
And new mystery girl

Normally sandy would be an ok name it just feels a bit out of place here
Hmm

Curious what happens next ep since i feel sandy probably still need an ep or so
Or it might go back to being episodic
Still a bit bummed that pecora got shafted quite a bit otherwise

Im not sure if its an adaptation thing it feels like s2 has a lot of these background events that we didnt see in s1 (bel at her work last ep this ep farm)

I need somebody who can love me at my worst
No, I'm not perfect, but I hope you see my worth
'Cause it's only you, nobody new, I put you first
And for you, girl, I swear I'll do the worst

If you stay forever, let me hold your hand
I can fill those places in your heart no else can
Let me show you love, oh, I don't pretend, yeah
I'll be right here, baby, you know I'll sink or swim

This season just isn't as ...fun... as season 1. Season 1 wasn't ecchi per se but was surprisingly not afraid to "have fun" with nudity. Blue dragon girl would just spontaneously strip, etc. this ep has 2 jokes about the elf's clothes dissolving and it's 2 little spots and she immediately fixes it with magic :/ Oh well...Mandrake girl is pretty lame.

Never a dull moment in this anime.
Eno brought an entire army of witches to Beelzebub's just to get a mandragora.
Sandra was very entertaining once she joined the party, another good addition to the household.

Azusa was so spot on about those plants dissolving Halkara’s clothes last episode, but why… why did she stop them when we were so close to seeing Halkara’s naked body! And to top it off, Azusa had to regenerate her clothes too.

Sandra was finally introduced properly, and it’s hilarious how scared Halkara is of her. She might have a sharp tongue and a bit of a temper, but she’s definitely a fun addition to this cute-girl family. I’m still curious what Sandra did to make the soil so rich in nutrients—but I’m pretty sure whatever it is, it came from her body.

A 300 year-old mandragora that is the envy of just about everyone except Azusa, Eno works swift and quick to make it an intention to raid Beelzebub's forest to find it with a group of witches, and that pisses the Demon Lord off for the Witch of the Highlands, Haikara and Flatorte to quickly find and salvage it. Haikara being the pivotal person to locate the rare object, soon gets surrounded by Eno and the group itself, and thankfully with Haikara's call, beckons the mandragora, a blue-haired girl, to come to Azusa herself.

The consolation for Eno to be able to get its leaf is good enough, though Beelzebub giving her a hefty fine for trepassing her property, pretty much everything is resolved on the spot. But the girl finding Beelzebub's forest out of deficiency to thrive, moves into Azusa's place instead as part of her family under the name Sandra. But as soon as she gets into the common house, her throwing the comment about the vegetables being bad, at least she does the role of being the fertilizer to up the quality in order to give both Falfa and Shalsha a try, which they do and finally accept the veggies.

A true fertilizer is added into Azusa's family, for even better veggies. Yay!

Well I didn’t expect this kind of action to start things off.

We got a bunch of witches trying to capturing the 300 year old matured Mandragora, but for good reason, Azusa, Halkara, and Flatorte are doing everything they can to prevent them from grinding the plant and killing it, since it’s now turned into a little girl.
I was thinking that Beelzebub could have simply kicked all of their asses due to her being way more powerful than they are, but she went the more business friendly route so that she could milk them all for whatever financial compensation they can provide.

Azusa has taken the plant into her care and even named her Sandra since she likes sand (she is a plant). The fact that Sandra is a plant logically explains why she doesn’t eat food and simply consumes water and sunlight for photosynthesis, along with being able to grow vegetables very well and being able to analyze their quality. She’s already proving to be a significant contribution to the family dynamic, so I wonder what else she will be doing.

With that, who else are we gonna be introduced to? What kind of stuff will go down next episode?
