| It actually works very poorly ever since they tailored it to finding products. Tin eye is better, Yandex is better, SauceNao and Trace.Moe is better. As for people that thought it was gone you have to go to google images page then click the icon at the right of the search it always was a bit hidden |

| @MoonBunny9297 Try trace.moe for screencap searches too. It shows you the scene an image comes from. Unfortunately it mainly is geared toward newer stuff and has trouble with some old or very obscure shows. |

Use the header links, visual matches, exact matches, info, About this image (useful), etc. I was able to find pretty much everything I needed about this particular custom wallpaper including the original source it was edited from. I used this https://images.google.com/imghp?hl=en&gl=ar&gws_rd=ssl I was able to find the source of your user pic just fine as well, along with pages that used it, better quality, dates, etc |

| It may not be down right now, but it was for a while and they keep changing it up. If it ever goes down, you can still use TinEye, which I'm now going to try as my default to see how the results compare because I've been pretty disappointed with some of Googles. |
