| Best male lead in shoujo is Yoh Komiyama from "High School Debut." I was going to say I'm not surprised that he's not included in the poll, but nah, I would expect that there's a good chance that a shoujo reader would have read that series given it got a Shoujo Beat release and all. |

Because Takeo Gouda isn't your typical cookie cutter Shoujo MC or even typical character featured in some Shoujo let alone being someone who is some lead and "Ore Monogatari!!" is probably the closest thing Anime will ever get to see having a story that revolves around an actual Bromance. "Ore Monogatari!!" is more of a Bromance story about the friendship Takeo Gouda has with Makoto Sunakawa than a the love story Takeo Gouda has with Rinko Yamato. |
