Did okkarun hum the Slam Dunk ed song? Correct me if I was mistaken
| @chuajohn05 didnt notice it, i recently watched slam dunk, need to rewatch that scene again. Such a win if he did though. I liked the episode, but i feel it shouldnt be a season final episode. Still, when i heard about this anime and when i started, didnt thought i would enjoy as much as i did. |

@ejleon I agree that it wasn't a natural break point, but I'm fine with the split cour treatment if it lets them keep production values up

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |

| So this was the end of the season? Didnt really feel like an ending at all. A little underwhelming. Else I enjoyed the show a lot. Funny and entertaining. Solid 8/10 for me. |

| It should be more than 14 episodes. I'm not sure if they will make more episodes or not but the ending of the 12th episode feels like the beginning of a new story. If they end the series at 12 episodes, I’ll have to read the manga but I thought that I wouldn’t read it. I really liked how the 12th episode turned out. It had a nice story flow. Overall, it’s a great series. |

| Whelp, that was certainly the season finale of all time lol. Really tho it was a good episode as always, just damn you can’t really call this a good stopping point, right smack dab in the middle of an arc and it ended like we’re getting the next episode next week, but we are not lol, it’s very obvious this was meant to be a 2-cour season but it was split up, but hey we do at least know Season 2 is coming as soon as next summer (if the date doesn’t change) and the episode was fun at least, I can’t complain too much lol. But yeah this stopped us right when things were about to get creepy, Jiji and Ken kinda grew closer over Momo and she’s currently in the bath with Reddit mods, sad that she’s about to be stuck in there with them for 6 months lol, but I will absolutely be there when she finally gets out. And that was the “Monsters vs. Aliens” anime, safe to say this was the mega hit of not just the season, but of the year as well, don’t think I saw a show get this much attention other than Frieren, but that one started in Fall 2023 so hard to say it counts for this year. And I’m happy to say it definitely deserved the attention it got, amazing production from Science SARU and the show itself was just pure entertainment, never really a dull moment, just when you thought it was gonna slow down we were back in another insane situation, yeah the story isn’t all that grabbing yet but we are still in the early stages of the series where it’s setting up the characters and the world, I can forgive that for now, it helps that the characters make it so fun already. And I know episode 7 gets a lot of talk, and I liked that one a lot as well, but my only issue with it is that it seemed very disconnected from the series, on its own it’s damn near a masterpiece, but when it’s supposed to be part of Dandadan… idk I feel like it’s a bit out of place, but this is mainly a nitpick anyway, doesn’t take away from the show really. And man I’m really gonna miss Creepy Nuts’ OP, loved getting to hear them in a show again after Call of the Night and they killed it once again, definitely one of the best OPs of the season, as was the ED by ZUTOMAYO, it really reminded me of the ED from another show by Science SARU called “Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!”, a really nostalgic one now for me so it gives it some extra points. And I guess that’s it for now, I know summer seems like it’s far away but it’ll be here in the blink of an eye, time is cruel like that lol. |
| Meh, kinda lame cliffhanger. I wish there was at least one more episode, because ep. 12 felt pretty timid as a season's finale. Another wholesome chapter of the school dummy's love story was great. Too bad that the episode itself was full of Jiji's annoying behavior. Anyway, I enjoyed watching the whole season. Dandadan is a cool show. :) |

| At the start of the episode, when Okarun was getting jealous of Jiji again, I found it really annoying. Maybe it's cause I'm older now but this kind of stuff isn't appealing to me anymore. Unless they find a way to make it funny. And they fucking did. Made it nostalgic too. Those two idiots sang Kimi ga Suki da to Sakebitai from Slam Dunk. Lmao! I did not expect that! All of a sudden I was reminded of Sakuragi's jealousy of Rukawa over Haruko. Man, those were the days. Anyway, overall I love the show. Great visuals, I like the comedy, I like the action. I hate the cliffhanger. 8 |

| Okarun constantly acting like a wallflower the last two episodes kinda took away from the finale/cliffhanger. even if he gets his balls back, he wont have balls. 7/10 season. Good characters otherwise. Jiji can die in a fire though. |

| It's good to know that part 2 (or season 2) is coming out next year because this ended on a cliffhanger, and on that note I wonder if Jiji and Okarun will end up near Momo by going through that mysterious room. Regarding Jiji, while I don't care much for him he did add some silly/comedic moments and he also made Okarun put more effort in keeping Momo's attention and affection. I enjoyed this series as a whole as it had funny moments mixed in with some good action scenes and even some sad moments with Acrobatic Silky's backstory. I don't have any criticisms other than some weird/random scenes like with the mannequin dolls and wishing this should've been 2 consecutive cours but I don't mind waiting if it means production values stay high. 8/10 |
| There is no way they just ended the episode like that... we have to wait nearly a year to see what happens next lmao That's cruel as fuck. This anime got announced out of nowhere. Everyone got hyped. When it started airing everyone loved it. Quickly became the best anime of this season by far, and one of the best of the entire year. Last episode gets aired and they immediately announce a 2nd season for next year. Refuse to elaborate further. Peak is over. PD: OKARUN IS KENOUGH |

| Ok season 2 is on the way and we won't have to wait too long; but otherwise, it'd be criminal to end a season like THAT. That and episode 7 should've cut the ED or play something more somber and more mellow. But that's all the complaints really, and they are more like nitpicks. Dandadan slaps, and I'll be giving it the same score that MAL as a whole has given it: a nice 8.7/10. |

Gooner Man has zero depth but takes itself way too seriously. Dandadan does not take itself seriously and is actually funny.
