| The way they pronounce "oczy" is deeply upsetting to me Also this letter should be addressed "do ojca" not "do ojciec". Even google translate wouldn't mess up like this, how did it even happen?  |

| This is so so good, best anime i've seen in a long while.I'm really liking the conflicted views on the new characters, in fact every single character so far have been very interesting. As an atheist myself that conversation they had with the "heretic" resonated on many levels. This anime makes me happy. |
| It's time for a new arc and this one it about assassins doubtful about their belief surrounding the beauty of the world after observations of life threatening events. The observations surrounding Mars positions can be quite insightful for someone who believes in geocentricism as it would make much sense with that model. That and the way one can question everything around them can make for the perfect combo to go find those papers left by Rafal and that's exactly where this is going. We're going deeper now and with the slight change in the opening we can be assured of that. |

| Damn, we are really doing this. I like Oczy, but I just can’t relate to him as much as I did Rafal. Maybe he will grow on me. I’m at the very least, interested in seeing his journey into heliocentrism. Especially since it seems as if he doesn’t have a solid science background like our former protagonist. (8.5/10) |

| Following from last episode’s incredible cliffhanger, we’re duly introduced to our new main character. Similar type of character in the sense that they have trust in the system but clearly this time around there’s deep rooted doubts. It’s just great storytelling seeing it all unfold, last episode’s final moments in reality being a sequel to this episode. I thought Earth and Mars do perfectly align in two years time so I assumed the circle would be complete and then reversed but could it be because the sun falls in between? I’m really bad at astronomy, sadly. Time to ask gpt what the answer is, lmao. I felt bad for the poor lad who passed away second, the killer’s partner literally started conversing with someone else in the middle of his fight, lol. Imagine hearing a conversation out of nowhere and you’re just piling up unnecessary piece of info. Sneaky change in the Op and ED visuals too! Looks like 2 other central characters still to come based on the ED? Is there going to a converging point where the final main character finally manages to overcome the system or will this just be a collection of stories of heretics and their desire to find the truth? Either way, I’m definitely on board. |

| Excellent episode. It's an interesting perspective on how people used to cope with anxiety, depression, hopelessness and suffering in that age. New characters are interesting. Let's see where this goes. |

| Wow Oczy replacing Rafal on the OP sequence. Even the little fight scene looks amazing. Great work from MADHOUSE. We got really interesting duo right here Oczy and Gras. I can't with the nasty cliffhanger every episodes. I want to watch the next episode right now.😭 |

| Wow, starting this off with new poking at the religious foundation. After Rafal's little mini arc, this is a good way to pick it back up. A bit of a nuanced MC from the Citizen Watch, who engages in duels against counts. The brief action flic was actually super cool looking, unlike certain shows struggling this season. Um.. this dude is really philosophizing a grim reality . Expecting nothing with only heaven as salvation? Apologizing for being born? The paragon of depression, that still has time for astrology. His friend studying Mars really is something, tracking the planet in a world with tech for two years. Although nobody would believe them. Astrology is one of the few things he has left, unfortunate. This heretic they have to transport really sounds like a lunatic |

| I was worried that Rafal’s absence would impact the story, but it turns out I had nothing to worry about. The author knows what they’re doing, and things actually got more interesting. I felt bad for Gras, he led such an unfortunate life, and when he finally found hope, he thought it was all for nothing. But I’m sure that won’t last for long. |

| Two new MC duellists. One happens to talk astronomy with a monk. He's mad the orbits aren't lining up as normal, I wonder why. The duellist is a bad ass, but his job is frankly terrible for the soul. |

| With Rafal's sacrifice, thus ends Part 1 of the manga, and we enter Part 2 with a new protagonist: Oczy. With Oczy and Gras earning their wages through mysterious duels, the former questioning about life and death for people, it's the lack of "perfection" that Oczy feels lacking in, and that's where the astronomy talk comes in with the discovery of Mars and its eventual orbit completion, the pursuit that Gras is looking for, hsving been brought up in a rough livelihood. But once the men from the Inquisition come, still under the leadership of Nowak, the beliefs of astronomy become challenged once again from heretics who believe that Heaven on Earth is far better than Heaven itself. And that is a challenge for both guys, because the heretic can lead them to the mountain where Rafal's stonechest is, thus potentialy changing their lives for the first time. One step for Heaven, is another man's leap for existentialism. |

| This reminds me of Vinland Saga but without the pretense. The only criticism I have is some scenes are absurdly dark. Stylistic choice is one thing, but this is a GoT moment of darkness |

| Nice to see them saying christianity was born out of grief of his death, not amazement at his ressurection. Subtle diss but enough to know they get it. Other than that I wish I was enjoying as much as other people. It's still on episode 4 so it can still improve, but seeing everyone claiming it's AOTS when nothing impressive happened storywise is definitely weird |

| So it's true that Rafai is dead, well it's sad to see him gone and I'm sure more incoming MC will face the same faith. I can't have my heart bound to a single person, as I fear to get hurt. Should have know when a show shows a dark part of history. I'll just hope these 2 won't die early... but I'm sure what's coming next. |

| Ohh a 10 years time skip and we have two new characters now especially with one who is studying the planets like Mars and is realizing more and more of new elements... now Nowak is still here and is sending an "heretic" to see his deaths but it seems like the two characters will follow the paths Hubert and Rafal took in the past after hearing his philosophical speech. Very interesting change of events. |
