Oh Alicia has really became a special figure in this show, not just for her talents but also reputation.

I'm kinda impressed how she's able to hold herself together and also helping the helpless. I love her confidence tbh and she sets an example for herself and others in this episode. Good for her, regardless of the "villainess" status. I find her far more appealing compared to characters like Liz.

Did no one think to point out to Liz that none of her “friends” actually care about her, all they care about is the brain between their legs?

I wasn't sure that I was going to continue this series but this episode has me hooked. I appreciate that the "healing" of the girl included an amputation instead of simply having all of her problems magically cured by our OP "hero".

I also fee that this episode is where Alicia is finally starting to come out as a true villain which is awesome!
I can't wait for the saints followers to go after her and get wrecked. hehe

This is turning out to be quite a bit more insightful than I would normally expect from an otome. Social commentary? I like how Alicia's finally beginning to polish her villainess act. It isn't at all what you might expect and yet not as irrational as it seems.

This episode was really solid, Alicia is finally acting like a villain and I like Liz too, the show is so much better when the prince isn't on the screen and then he had to ruin it.

there we go she is being a villainness :D!
so her idea is to be the necessary evil to make the saint be better? or if not her goal thats what seems to be happening.
duke smiling happily at the table. what was the yellow flash in that one guy's eyes?

FINALLY Alicia villainess arc is here and I’m loving it. Makes a lot of sense to have her act this way to bring out the best in Liz AND allow her to live out her dream as being a villainess who goes down in history. But damn I didn’t expect such a sudden turn from last week in terms of she and Liz relationship.

Cooking her in front of her friends, slapping the girls’ hands away from her when they touched her hair(which is VALID, don’t touch people hair without asking!) and literally ripping up the essay in front of her. Our girl was bold today.

It’s cool to see Gil out of the trenches too, I’m a big fan of seeing noble characters in these sort of stories taking people out of poverty and giving them a chance. Seeing him follow Alicia around all day is gonna be funny af. The author having Alicia amputate Rebecca leg was also a nice change up because normally in these stories the MC can do it all. Forcing her to amputate shows there are limits to Alicia magic.

Honestly perfect episode other than the pedo duke showing up and trying to flirt with Alicia. He annoys me so much, I haven’t hated a romance this much in ages.

So being rational is evil and being an anarchist communist is being good? okie. Of course, the tone and platitudes she uses are the extent of her sainthood. I can see a good old bamboozling cooking here, a "subversive" story. There's clearly some sort of bewitchment going on, things are clearly not the way they seem with that saint.

Alicia isn’t holding any punches against Liz’s deluded and dangerously idealized way of thinking. I’m glad she’s putting her in her place instead of fawning over her like the rest of her entourage. I have a feeling it’s a sort of brainwashing that’s taking place since those people tend to last out at anyone who goes against Liz. I find it disturbing that Liz idly stands by and lets them do it then comes in for the save to make herself look good. She’s far too dangerous and I would qualify her as a bigger threat to the nation than Alicia would ever be as a villainess.

Cute moment with Duke and Alicia. Good for Gil too he got to leave.

The heroine Liz really is just idealistic with flowers in her head. All wishful thinking and lofty ideals with no reasonable thinking at all. In contrast Alicia's approach is reasonable and down to earth.

Btw another sus moment this episode, this time with Alicia's brother's eyes flashing yellow. Looks like all of them are brainwashed to think whatever Liz speaks as the absolute and can't think for themselves. For now it seems only the students are affected except for Duke. Maybe the flashing means the brother broke the brainwash for a moment. This makes me think if she really is the heroine.

This is why I love her.

She isn't necessarily evil, she's just projecting her ideal of "absolute lawful evil" into her way of doing things and treating others.
Also, her interactions with Dukes always funny and cute.

I have to agree with Alicia, she did an excellent job with that first "battle". While the Saint's fans may hate her as a villainess indeed, Liz herself did learn a lot from this and does not see her as her enemy.

The fact that she really is a villainess and is not just another story of someone who is reincarnated as the villain and becomes a saint is so satisfying!!! But I tottaly agree with her view of things... We need to be realistic

That was some good villainess stuff by Alicia in this episode.
I'm looking forward to seeing the changes that will happen to Raona village.
There are plenty of decent people living there.
Guess we will just have to wait and see what Rebecca's role will be.
The only problem is that Duke seems to want Alicia and not Liz.

This episode was the best one so far. Alicia has started acting like the villain, though it's only to guide Liz into becoming a more respectable saint, since Liz's ideas, while well-intentioned, are unrealistic and overly idealistic at their core. Alicia will use the king’s request to further build her villainous image.

I'm not sure what happened with one of Alicia’s brothers’ eyes; maybe it’s some kind of enchantment from Liz on her simps, or perhaps they won’t follow the game's storyline anymore.

The saint sounds like a socialist advocating for communism, by basically freeing the inmates of the prison colony, where many of those criminals have no qualms about about beating children to death for looking at them the wrong way. Freeing them willy-nilly without any afterthought will absolutely worsen public order, as Alicia said. When everyone is equal, everyone is equally miserable. She doesn't realize it, but she's also advocating for the massacre of the royal family too...imagine being the crown prince and hearing all her ignorant idealist BS sitting across from you. The only evil villianess I see here is the "saint" stuck in her reverse-harem echo chamber of skirt-chasing simps.

I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one that noticed the yellow flash in one of the male's eyes. And I think that male was one of Alice's brothers too, if I'm not mistaken. There are only a few possibilities as to what that yellow flash is. The color is yellow and there are only two things in the anime that represents yellow. That would be Saint and Light Magic. So while it's a bit unclear it could be related to Liz or someone with light magic.

I take that back it does seem the yellow flash in the Alice's brother's eyes has something to do with the Saint rather than Light Magic after all or perhaps it's both. In any way, it does seem related to the Saint. The blonde male that was made at Alicia was more likely just a follower or one of Liz worshipers more likely. There were two males with blonde hair and it didn't seem like the blonde male that is a noble is responsible. I'm referring to the blonde that knew Alice from when she was younger. The one that got made had blond hair and blue eyes and is clearly not the one related to one of the big five noble families.

hopefully Alicia finds her identity soon, she's definitely still seemingly flip flopping between playing a villain and doing good things she wants to do

perhaps the whole eyes magic thing will give the story an out to paint the saint as a hypnotizing idealist who doesn't realize the consequences of her actions, and Alicia as the one person yelling *shake up weeple*

or maybe she'll just actually turn into a villainess, but we've had pretty steady doses of that being a facade so I doubt it

This episode was soo great Completely sold me on this now.

The way Alicia berated that "Saint" and her reverse harem of muppets was so satisfying to watch.

Destroyed her communist utopia dreams with logic and reasoning. If anyone can save the village it's her and she's planting her seeds well now with Rebecca. Shown Liz her place and made a fool out of her army of simps. Perfect Villainess on display.

"Next time she sprouts goody too shoes line like that, I will cut her off on the spot"

The situation about the inequality about the nobles and the commoner is not bad it shows Liz has a noble goal but very unrealistic however I don't like the villainess act. Now I know that's what the show is about but it feels so cringey and unnecessary

Though MC's understanding of being a villainess is different from most, I'm really liking her character after recent episodes.

She's becoming someone who's willing to make all the harsh decisions, calling out bs regardless of whom or how many she'd piss off with her action.

On the other hand, she works harder and is more down to earth than anybody. I honestly have a lot of respect for her even though part of it is still like a game to her to oppose the protagonist Liz.

Wasn’t expecting that kitchen fire at the end of the episode when Alicia was allowed to cook lol, Liz took the criticisms well but Alicia also played things very well, when she was struck back against she had more logic and facts at the ready, and all the while Duke is just eating popcorn in his head lol, he was basically the viewers there, definitely one of Alicia’s best displays as a “villainess”, of course what she was saying wasn’t villainess at all but she played the role of one in that situation. Also speaking of Duke, wasn’t expecting him to teleport Alicia to him, I thought she was sent to the backrooms for a second there lol, Duke is down bad man.

I also noticed like some others that one of Alicia’s brothers’ eyes flashed for some reason during the cook-off, I thought maybe Alicia gained affection levels but I think the brainwashing thing might be more accurate, not sure if Liz is aware of it or not but there’s more to her than meets the eye for sure. And Alicia saving that girl in the first half of the episode was pretty cool, she had to amputate a leg but she saved the girl’s life at least, and now Alicia has a new ally for future needs, you know, the reason a villainess would save a life lol.

Not that relevant, but Duke's transport magic is a broken ability if he can just summon anyone or moreso if he can just teleport anyone.

Also, I thought the heroine's essay was some school assignment she handed in. Did all of them really read her essay cuz that's what Alicia implied?

I do like this anime's approach to villainess being someone that is hated as opposed to just being an outright evil person.

Haa~ They watered down so much of the story..... Gill's debate w/ Ali regarding his "adoption" into servant-hood (yes, Gill isn't supposed to readily says yes on this), Gill's getting out of Roana (he's supposed to cry here btw), Rebecca's rescue (Ali's ingenuity of pretty much hacking a mere inflamation curing skill to literally cure high degree burns), Gill's training and growth as a servant, Ali v Liz debate, all was so watered down....

Well, so much materials got cut and watered down might be necessary tho, if they really wish to reach the wolves incident this season. But still, such a waste....

LOL

MC was disappointed in having to be the Saint's aid... but then her eyes lights up once she hear the aid might be "hated" which is what a villainess should strive to be, LOL.

Her "perfect villainess" is pretty much: Don't give a Fuck about anything and just do whatever I feel like.

She's so proud of her "evil acting"

But she gets "dominated" by the DukePrince as she can't do anything against him. Alicia has no idea she already changed the game's plot line since years ago.

I think Duke likes "bad girl" types... LOL

.

Also, she's age 13 now? (assuming this is right after last episode when she just starts to attend the academy after she reaches age 13 as their agreement)

During the audience at the beginning, she looked like a 16 or 17 years old in that dress with how tall she is for a 13 years old.

This series sure do make young age people look mature than they are on Earth. I guess being a game world, it doesn't have to follow Earth's age rules.

Someone's at death's door and badly burned? Your friendly nearby villainess is on the scene. Alicia's capabilities might only be surpassed by her love of the villainess archetype. So it was no surprise to me when her father's attempt to dissuade her from taking on a job that required acting like a villain to the heroine backfired. It's what she loves!

Also Duke having the ability to teleport Alicia to him whenever he pleases is sure to become one of his most mastered skills. The prince can't keep his eyes off of her!

Ah yes, Alicia's villainess arc has started

One of the brothers was unblinded by Liz's secret manipulation. I'm happy Gill is going to have a proper education but I feel bad for him bc he's running behind Alicia like a puppy.

I loved the scene between Alicia and the prince heheh he's so sneaking, I love it. He's secretly rooting for her and Liz knows that. The fact that Liz wanted Alicia to apologize was crazy

Alicia to be Liz Cather's watcher proving her worth much more as the Saint, the Roana Village debacle certainly is befitting, but to achieve the villainess's greatness, being the rival is her goal.

Having the son of criminals be part of her venture means that Gill can leave the village, a feat that has never happened before. Of course, Will can choose to return to the Empire, but being a branded criminal meant that the village is his only hiding place. And no other place says it more than rescuing a near-dying person back to the village and recovering her to the best of her abilities, testing her resolve of being the greatest villainess. The necrotism of her right leg defintely is life-threatening, but for Rebecca, having Alicia be proud of her villainess achievement to use her to progress Liz as the Saint, she's just always going to be behind the scenes to pull strings.

Alicia bringing Gill with her the Magic Academy to face off against Liz, her appearance doesn't disappoint when it comes to brandishing herself as a villainess, but having the secret watcher role be known to Duke was not on her bingo card of tricks. Most certainly, Alicia's arsenal of Liz's essay on Roana Village creating a debate on the good and bad between the two girls' ideologies (which is actually a good counterargument narrative), her fan club may not be appreciative and worship her goodness, but Alicia is the Lawful Evil needed to create the balance within the flaw.

Just as planned for becoming an up-and-coming villainess, mentions Alicia.
