| Ah, yes, romance, the biggest problem in this post-alien world. Damn, that whole thing with the prime minister is creepy as hell. Now, this is the kind of stuff I came for and expect from a show like this. I need an examination of Asano's brain, because half of these character designs are the silliest things I've seen. But that's the beauty of his works though. Anyways, it looks like Ontan is that typical character obsessed with the supernatural, which in a way makes her the most sane in this world, tbh. She's the only one so far that's somewhat "questioned" the aliens. And, to think that the first thing Kadode spotted in that dude's house was that dildo... lols. Okay, this dude is a weirdo, man, though at least he isn't a weirdo weirdo and didn't do anything weird to poor ol' Kadode. But it looks like Ontan over here had the opposite mindset and wanted something to happen. And Ontan's family, specifically her brother... uh, yeah, okay, again with the interesting character design. Respects to Kadode for pointing out the thing we all thought. At least he's looking to change it, even if it is to marry her... lol. Win for Japan for finally taking down an alien flying object, I guess. |

| It is quite intriguing to see the politics of an alien invaded Japan. Though at every day level, not much has change and they have time to worry about romance or the future. I wonder how they're gonna try to take down the big ship, the debris from it would destroy the city if they just shot it down. Guy at the end was speaking fluent alien. |

| I love Hiroshi LOL with that super handsome face along with that body This series definitely has some of Inio Asano's wackiest character designs and I love it The story is going by at a nice pace so far |
| They are skipping some minor things here and there but overall I think it's a valid adaptation aside from some liberties on the subs which are basically a 1:1 of the english Dub. The political, military and the zero field from where the invaders come through are probably better conveyed here in the anime than the manga, though. Unfortunately lot of signs, posts on social media etc will never be translated I guess. |

| a good episode. they are rearranging pretty much everything so the pacing feels a little fast and slow at the same time. but I’m enjoying it regardless. Hiroshi my king is here! |

| So it's been quite a few years since the incident. Now I understand why the teacher reacted that way. Lol The protagonist is an adult even though physically she is still a child. The final plot twist was great, but maybe I made a mistake watching episode 0, this episode would definitely have been more mysterious. I'm really curious about the intentions of these aliens. |

| Damn how does this not have more eyes on it? This show bangs. It’s such an interesting departure from virtually every sci fi anime I’ve seen I guess Gleipnir was somewhat similar in vibe, but it’s def fresh as hell. The designs, seiyuus, plot, etc are all great. I think it’s really interesting to see how despite a literal world altering event like extraterrestrials showing up, humanity still tries to maintain a sense of normality. Ontan and Kadode are worried about the stuff that kids their age normally would. Romance, getting into uni, careers etc and the giant UFO floating over Tokyo has kinda just faded into the background. It’s a part of everyday life now for the people of Japan. As someone who usually copes with trauma by keeping my usual routine(went to school the day my dad died for example), I really appreciate seeing that tackled here. Idk what it is about Kadode but she attracting all the predators in this story tho 💀 the teacher definitely would’ve tried to make a move on her if she stayed.. far as I’m concerned he crossed the line when he offered to take her to his house and brought out the drinks. Then Ontan’s discord/reddit mod brother wants her too.. bro hasn’t had a job in his life and thinks someone wants him lmao. I feel a lot worse for what’s definitely about to happen to humanity now that I know it was the humans who attacked first. I mean yea, pulling up to another planet for 3 years with a ship is definitely kinda rude.. but at the same time firing at said ship knowing full well humanity doesn’t have the tools to fight a civilisation advanced enough to traverse the cosmos… yea GG. And that goes for the Americans who dropped the bomb in the first ep and now the JDSF.. Guessing the dude at the end is gonna wind up being an alien and is talking about retaliation? |

| I’m really loving this so far! surprised there wasn’t much hype around it but hopefully it gains traction in the coming weeks—I just know it’s gonna be engaging the whole way through also Ontan is a great character I love the friendship between her and Kadode already |
| The subtitle sync is better in this episode. I wonder if it's because of feedback from the last episode. But it's still filthy dubtitles... Dubtitles or not, this anime is still very interesting. But the subtitles are kinda ruining my experience... I think I'll put this on hold for now. I'll probably enjoy this series much more if I binge-watch it anyway. | There's so much magic and whimsicality that's lost from the manga (I don't even know if that aspect can be adapted) but the plot feels more coherent and they did a great job bringing the characters to life. I much prefer the slice of life scenes because these characters are so engaging |
| It's still slow and I don't see where it is supposed to head. I read some reviews and one said it's about misanthropy. If that's the case, then I'm for it. I'll just have to push through with it. |

| I was getting mixed signals from the show. It feels similar to FLCL at times wich is good, but it feels... well first the character design is huh, and then it feels somewhat edgy and nihilistic at times. And then I checked the MAL page for the manga... Fuck, it's Inio Asano. My hopes have been crushed. Hopefully it's not edgy trash misery porn like Punpun. |
