| This anime ain't nothing like the meme you've posted. In fact, Frieren is one of the most bland characters in her own show, lol. As for your question, I think it's an anime worth of giving it a try. Good art and music, rather alright writing (for a shounen). However, first eps are slower than a nosebleed, so keep this in mind. |

| @Mykasan She's rather static, if you ask me. It wouldn't be a problem if the show's premise was dedicated to such things, but Sousou no Frieren starts as a show meant to show gradual, dynamic change of the main character due to circumstances from the very first episode... but it reverts to status quo in the second episode and stays pretty much like this for the rest of episodes released so far, lol. Mediocre writing take, even going by shounen standards, but to each their own. At least there are other, arguably better written characters than Frieren, in this show. And well, if "uwu face", moe, feetservice, or whatever similar is meant to be crucial in defining a character, then I think "bland" was a good word for describing Frieren. ;D |

| @Kruszer While it may feel like a hit or miss type of show at first (so either liked or disliked by a viewer, depending on their taste and expectations), I think it's still versatile enough to even be considered as a gateway anime. You know, one of anime recommended to someone willing to experience the medium. |
