He just makes a whole bunch of chapters (published at a certain later time) and then switches to another of his manga. (This way, the mangaka gets to make those he likes while giving to his readership the ones they want. Everyone's happy) Katsura didn't end his Zetman series but simply closed its "first part" (last page literally saying "End of the first part"). Just like Fujisaki with his Kakuryo Monogatari. (Funny to read Kubo's cover words: "For years I had been dreaming of an existence where I could draw a manga in my own time. Now, I am living it... It's the top of the top.") |

It'll come out when it comes out! The Bleach manga has released a chapter for a new arc in 2021 that's a direct continuation of the main series. Kubo designed a bunch of new characters for the Bleach anime hinting the possibility of a spin-off Bleach series that takes place in the past with these characters. Kubo is radio silent so we don't know which of his project will come out when. |
