Okay, Laios is definitely my favorite character in this. His fascination with monsters is so amazing.
Living Armor gotta be one of the most interesting monsters I've seen in fiction.

It's nice how not everything is super delicious, and it can be just not bad or even bad.
Laios got a moster sword! The narrator called it a companion, so I hope it'll be friendly and stays with them for the long run.
This is sooo good. 9/10 for me so far.

The fact that they somehow made freakin' living armors of all fantasy creatures edible (let alone organic) after pointing out themselves that they're all metal was impressive enough, but having them be some sort of sophisticated mollusc is so absurdly creative that it's hilarious.

Also, never thought I'd be praising RPG clams for their drip but that lion armor's design is absolutely sick.

@FarCritical The opposite really. The fact that no one noticed for the decades? (centuries?) that they've been fighting them, just makes this really stupid. They even talked about selling the armor, it means no one has ever actually sold or done anything with a suit in all this time.

1) The mollusks aren't typically aggressive unless they're guarding their eggs, which imply they're either dormant (unless you get too close) or simply leave the armor when they've finished their life cycle.

2) If you were able to defeat the armor, the mollusks would be dead. In that case, even if someone found them, they would assume they're just that: mollusks. Dead mollusks, even. Why would you think mollusks of all creatures are animating armor instead of the much simpler explanation of magic, since it's so commonplace?

2.5) Broken armor isn't good for wearing or selling.

3) Marcille mentions that she's never seen this chamber before, so living armor isn't even something that adventurers often find in the first place.

The explanation makes perfect sense.

@Sneasy SMH All your points are contradicted by the show itself if you'd paid attention. It's just a bunch of nonsense that contradicts itself constantly. A lot of dumb kid shows do that a lot, but most of them don't also try to pretend they're not, like this show is.

So, if death isn't a permanent thing, is that why they're not too anxious about the sister?

The hall that Laios and his companions arrived at was filled with suits of armor. The mysterious and enigmatic creatures known as Living Armor, which once dealt a painful blow to Laios, once again stand in the way of their progress. Observing the actions of the attacking armors, Laios speculates that the armor is protecting something. In order to uncover its true identity, he charges alone into the depths of the hall.

Laios is really something... I mean, given his mindset, I'm genuinely surprised he hasn't tried eating a human yet. I'm thinking the living armor might be part of the Insect kingdom in this world, considering it looks like a carapace? But then, where's the meat in this 'invertebrate'? Also, is it just me, or does it bother anyone else that he just left behind a cool suit of armor? It looked pretty badass! Maybe they could use it to house monsters, like a makeshift power armor without needing a fusion cell or fuel. Though, considering the creatures made holes in the armor to live in, it's probably not very durable.

It feels kinda dark to eat most of its friends and then keep it captive, but hey, living armor oysters do sound strangely appealing.

@Dan_ALves Ornstein is a boss from the Dark Souls video game series, a big guy covered in armor.

I think people can get resurrected in this world, like a video game or D&D. They talked about "party wipes" and "coming back after being turned into poop" earlier in the show.

@Dan_ALves Marcille says in episode 1 that her first death was from a slime. They have a conversation about people being revived from scraps so maybe poop works as well. There's also the thing with the plants in episode 1 with the corpse in them where they say that they will leave the corpse in the open so that others may find it and revive him. All in all, as of now we can assume that their view on dying is quite different. That being said, in episode three we see a rotten corpse and the leader mentions that this is what happens when you die to far off the beaten path, nobody will find your corpse before it's gone.

Not going to lie, I like the creativity behind the show's ideas in terms of their monsters. They don't just rely on generic dragons, goblins, etc. Now, they even have a reanimated armor.

Besides the usual adventure vibes, we also got food and eating too. It's nothing too fancy but the reactions were kinda priceless. Well done Trigger. They truly made this show as entertaining as it can be so far imo.
