| RYUUSUI IS THE FUCKING GOAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING EPISODE, HOLY SHIT! THE WAY SENKU OUTPLAYED THE PETRIFICATION WAS SICK, AND THE IDEA OF PUTTING THE EAR SPEAKER DIRECTLY IN THE MEDUSA WAS ALL RYUUSUI'S!!! Ibara attacked Senku in his arm... go for the head next time, dumbass. |

| Ibara thinking that he'd won, Senku is the last one standing for a thrilling Last Man Standing one-on-one fight. How Senku beat Ibara to the punch is his backup plan thanks to Chrome, lining everyone up to avoid the petrification at its intended range, and adding in the nitric acid for perfect measure in a race of science, something which he'd done before 3700 years ago. It was a perfect amount of calculus that Senku knew what to do from here, and it's all calculations from here on out. Add the rogue self-driving car, that was almost Senku's win to claim before Ibara got the Medusa back. But knowing this, Senku is at a crossroads with Ibara pacing the trap. Out of options, Ibara tries to trap Senku, but he did not take into regard the revival fluid that de-petrified Ryusui for an actual boss battle to reclaim the Medusa. And even so, Ibara knew how to fight back against the Medusa, which Ryusui took one chance to stop the device...and Senku had the recording device attached to the Medusa to finally stop the measure of the device off of Ibara's hands. But once again, Senku found himself alone since the days of his de-petrification, though a call from Ruri back in the Kingdom of Science, he's not along this time, never again. A game of wits, and Senku won in the end. Best episode by 10 billion miles. |

| W Ryuusui, he's the perfect sideman for Senku. Man ngl this episode hits so hard, one of the best episodes of Dr Stone. Let's ignore the longest 5 seconds right there Good thing his ex-wife called to remind him he's not alone. |

| This episode rocks! When it's life or death, Senku only has one trial, in his experiment and one shot at it, but everyone in the Kingdom of Science is cooperative and provides him with the measurements to do his signature quick calculations. The toss was the gamble, and it worked. From failing to use the telephone and mobile lab to trap Ibara, he learns he must use it up close (and knows that Ibara obtained the earpiece), and has allowed him to formulate a plan with triply-petrified Nanami. A real tough boss fight. Ibara who's been the real one controlling the island after petrifying the master, knows the island's geography and has trained himself to use the Medusa cautiously. But Senku has trapped him by the cliff where the noise of the ocean drowns out voice commands unless they are properly up close. Nanami places his trust in Senku yet again, charging forward into the Medusa to hook up the earpiece. Game over for Ibara. On this island, Senku is the last man as he was when he first woke up, but he has the Kingdom of Science waiting at home for him, and every one of the petrified expedition team helped him on this perilous operation against the petrification kingdom, he's not alone this time. |

| Aah the back-and-forth... I love how it all came full circle for Senku, what a journey! Knowing when to throw the revival fluid is one thing, being able to throw it at exactly the height he needed is another—how did he get that level of accuracy?? (POV: the next Kingdom of Science member is a modern baseball pitcher or sthg lol) |

| What. An. Episode. Back and forth battle of wits. It was obvious who was gonna win, but that didn't make it less entertaining. We still got 3 episodes left of this season, but this could've passed for a season finale. |
| This is not a traditional "battle shounen", yet, this episode delighted me with one of the best shounen battles I've ever watched. A non-traditional battle, nevertheless, but a very fun and clever one. |

| Ibara - rather than being overly cautious, I think "paranoid" is a better term to describe his 'fear' of the petrification beam. Senku & Ryusui tag team is great, especially at that last moment! Ryusui's critical thinking to attach the earpiece on the device at the very last moment was what truly gave them the most opportune moment to beat Ibara despite his "cautiousness" lol. It was extremely satisfying to see that "Oh, I'm f*ck'd" expression on Ibara while celebrating his "win" when he realized a moment too late. |

| AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After that intense confrontation I needed to scream too. Amazing episode. It was a great idea to revive Ryusui first. What an assist. And that ending scene. Can't remember the last time I teared up over an episode. What I hate about other animes is they try so hard to make you cry by killing characters that you just get desensitized to it. But Dr. Stone gives you the right feels at the right time. Ahhh, such a well-made episode. |

| Senku using the potion on him while being petrified was great, definitely a smart move to calculate the perfect timing with the other ones, and I thought Ibara really did outsmart them when he got Ryusui but of course Senku is too mentally OP xD Finally they got Ibara and get the device back |

| Ibara threw the petrification device in the air > Ryuusui catches it with drone > Senku x Ryuusui then get in a tug-of-war battle with Ibara > Ibara still manages to throw something towards petrification device, making it bounce back. This all happened in just 5 seconds. What is this? Jojo's Bizarre Adventure? |

| In case you weren't convinced of Senku's quick thinking and scientific approach until now, this is the episode that puts all of it into play. Not only does it show us how he had to measure the time to correctly throw the nitric acid bottle in order to neutralize the Medusa's effects, his way of unpetrifying Ryusui to rapidly come into action and do some really hardcore quick engagements with the drone and the earpiece that would let him win the battle against an overly cautious Ibara is something to be admired. This was the chapter in the manga that really got me immersed into it and I'm so happy to be able to relive it after years as if it happened yesterday. |

| Stupid Dr. Stone randomly making me emotional again. ç.ç So many twists in the final battle, very tense, but Senku manage to win with the help of his friends. |
| It was a nail biter for a few minutes. Ibara was crafty and buff. I thought Senku had met his match. I hope Senku has enough acid to make potion for at least Yuzuriha, Chrome, and Taiju. Yuzu has to gather up Ryuusui and put him back together..... again. Taiju needs to dive and find the cop statue and the gun. Chrome just needs to do Chrome stuff. |
