| So... - I have already previously started (and completed with the exception of DBZ) all 66 (!) of my partner's 10s. - Among the 9s, my only options would be Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka II, III, IVa & IVb (all sequels to a show I dropped), Tokyo Revengers: Seiya Kessen-hen (same), Kinnikuman (way too long), Saint Seiya (also way too long) and Saint Seiya: Meiou Hades Juuni Kyuu-hen (sequel to the previous) - So I'm gonna pick Mekakucity Days from the 8s. |

First few episodes had me thinking this would be a silly love at first sight story, so the reveal that it was all a facade for far more selfish motives was quite effective. Definitely suffers from being an incomplete adaptation, as we get several character arc setups but only some small developments at most for the majority of the cast. This is the second TROYCA show I've ever seen, so I also got a kick out of how much the storyboarding reminded of the dramatic beats in IDOLiSH7. |
