| The animation and directing was good, but the only problem is the pacing which I am disappointed by (and the red sky, but at this point it's a non-issue). Why are they even rushing things so much? I hope we get an Ichigo vs Uryu fight to make up for this. |

This man cut open a giant ass meteor. There is no stopping Kenpachi. He didn't even use his bankai. That's how good he is. |

| Fantastic episode. Yachiru moments were great and we FINALLY get back to KENPACHI THE GOAT. Any time this man is on screen he steals the show. The meteor slice was cool af and I can't wait for more upcoming Kenpachi greatness. I got a small nitpick, I just don't like Kenpachi's giant meat cleaver that much. |

LOL. You seem alien to the concept of spatial slicing, which is nothing new in fiction. The major point of the fight is to showcase the power of an awakened Kenpachi. His whole schtick has always been that he cuts things really hard to the point he doesn't need grandiose special abilities like everyone else, which this episode exemplifies by having one of the strongest physical characters in the series go up one of the most broken abilities and just neg everything thrown at him. It even made sure to hammer that point home by having Kenpachi tell Gremmy over and over again "There's nothing I can't cut".
