Mika is now the official psychological manipulator. To rally Orga back into action like that was quite a feat. People might see it as Mika going berserk on Orga, but I see it different. His calm insistence cut through all the depression and doubts that Orga had and fully focused his attention on the crux of the matter: just what it was that they had to accomplish next in order to reach their collective goals. He may seem to have little regard for the situation or the feelings of others, but in truth, he's probably the most observant and most sensitive to everything that happens around him, and his cool, collected personality and his oratory skills really helps to diffuse any negative situations. He may not speak much,but when he does, it's usually something that is meaningful and worth paying attention to.

Kudelia is growing into a fine leader and coordinator, and her beliefs are getting stronger by the minute. It's a welcome change to see as opposed to when she got lost in Dort after the massacre. In truth though, I believe she was probably the most relieved that Tekkadan didn't pull out of the operation, because those boys are probably the ones that she feels that she can truly trust.

Next episode seems like it'll be interesting in terms of warfare. I wonder just how hard the procedure to implant that system into Gaelio's spine.

Oh, and shout out to Alberta Canada. I'm surprised that Edmonton would still be called that after 300+ years and endless wars.

Finally a Orga and Mika moment. This is when IBO is at its best. The rivalries and the friendships. Kudelia's been getting a lot of the focus lately. Since she was idle most of the first half. The political aspect is less entertaining but necessary since they are sacrificing themselves for a greater goal.

Carta is probably gone next episode. She's been in their way ever since they left the Dort colonies. Though I can't really imagine any more deaths. Considering that there's only three episodes left.

It definitely seems like there will be a second season. Three stops to go to reach Edmonton. So I'm guessing that's where it will end.

This was a very good episode, i loved the scene where mika snaps sense into orga, he was actually pretty damn intimidating. Orga's speach was pretty hype too. Kudelia post character development is a pretty solid character and im very pleased with the direction they have taken her since prior to this she was one of the problems i had with the show during the middle sections where she was still moping about.

Next episode looks pretty great, i have a feeling carta isnt going to die like we all want her to though, from the looks of it mika gets thrown off guard by something and its probably gonna be ein and gallio interrupting the fight potentially since its likely been a few days since this episode that next episodes fight takes place during.

I am worried about the episode count now, i was generally pretty confident in the show being split cour up until this episode but now there seems to be a potential final goal in front of us with the elections and i hope to god the series doesnt attempt to wrap it up there. Its not that the show cant wrap up in a few episodes its that it'd waste a shit ton of potential by ending prematurely before getting to explore more of the world, pasts of orga mika and the calamity war, and the conflict as a whole. My hope is that they will reach the elections but there is still going to be a political fallout that proceeds it that likely will result in a war which the sequel shall cover but i am anxious until a 2nd season is truly confirmed.

also if there is a 2nd season i hope to god they do a better job on animation cause this show looks like ass most the time.
You're always worried about something when it comes to this series. Good thing that so far not a single episode has been nearly as bad as you predicted or feared it would be. If you keep this up you're gonna end up not being able to enjoy the last three episodes at all. Have a little faith in the writers, will ya.
I do agree on the animation quality tho, it has gone down drastically since the early episodes and it's become increasingly hard not to notice recently. Let's hope they're saving whatever budget they have left for the finale.

Other than that it was another very good episode. Mika and Orga's interactions are definitely the moments when the show is at its best: they are definitely dragging each other down a destructive path atm, so I'm particularly excited to see how their relationship is going to develop in the next season (if we get one). I'm also wholly satisfied with Kudelia's progression: she's really shaping up to be a great leader, even though she aspires for more. She's once again showing initiative and even start to devise clever plans on her own. It's also neat to see all the homeork she's done on Earth's geopolitics in preparation for this day finally pay off.
Keep it up, princess. Proud of you. 👌👌👌

Wow a lot of people seem to have dropped this, though to be honest I don't think the MAL demographic is a fit for Gundam at all anyway. Also Sunrise remembering that Canada is a country that exists. They've always been good to us.

The episode were him and Orga had the fight and he said that he wanted to leave Tekkadan, his brothers death is what sparked him to reconsider their plans, 20 I believe.

Damn Mika really is a demon, he sounded like a machine when he grabbed Orga this episode, I wonder what he would do if Orga ever died and he had no one to follow.

I'm still really enjoying the show, I am glad that Kudelia has finally began to step up, at the start she was damn near clueless.

I admit I'm one of those people. I almost drop this but because it's almost end I decide to just follow it till the end of season 1

The thing that didn't really sit well with me is how they handle the death of major character. The way the writer rise the death flags so many time right at the beginning of the episode, kinda lessen the impact of the actual death.

OMG, another great episode that gave us more info about turbines, the alaya-vijnana and also about that stupid carta.
I was already imagining that naze wasn't married to all of those girls. But i still think that the ponytail girl has feelings for naze instead of akihito.
And the best part was definitely mikazuki acting like an assassin asking who he will kill next hahaha. I'm very curious to see what mika will do if one day they reach the place that Orga thinks its their final destination
I also liked how smart Kudelia was. She became very mature after fumitan's death. I'm really liking her more and more.

DAMN Mika is one cold-ass customer! Definitely starting to see the more malevolent sides of Barbatos' design coming through here, like a deal with the devil.
Orga was all mourning Biscuit one second, but the second that the light shone on his face and Mika entered his whole demeanor changed. He started talking like he was giving excuses, just worn out and tired. And Mika said "NO."
"You WILL give me prey. You WILL satisfy me. You've brought me this far, but if you abandon this now THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY."
And by god did that scare Orga back to life like nothing else would. I swear, Mika's embarassing not just Setsuna but Heero and even C.C. as well!!
Looking forward to next episode, HYPPPPPPPEEE

Not this shit again.The three turbines girls with Tekkadan are wives to Naze (It is heavily implied that some of them bore Naze's Children.

Turbines Chart:
Dark Skinned Girl (Main Wife)
============================
Lafter, Twin Haired Girl and the Silver Haired Girl (Naze's Side Wives)
=============================================
All the other unnamed wives
=============================================
Girls that are rescued

There!! Akihito will not have a chance with any of the turbines!! If you are referring to Lafter, their relationship could be considered like Master & Apprentice!! I hope this really fucking helps

That was a pretty intense conversation between Mika and Orga. Mikazuki was saying some crazy stuff, but it worked well to make Orga snap out of it. Still, declaring war on Gjallarhorn... It's like Biscuit's death had the opposite effect. Instead of making Orga more cautious (like what Biscuit wanted), it's emboldened him even more. I'm actually a bit concerned myself, now, that this could wind up getting more people hurt than is necessary...

I was very pleased with Kudelia in this episode. She's proving to be very useful now.

It was amusing when McGillis was talking about Gjallarhorn leaking information and noting "that's how corrupt we are" when he was the one behind the leak. Nice background info in that conversation, btw; so Gjallarhorn's foundation as an organization was based on the Alaya-Vijnana system, which is now taboo on earth.

I will not be happy unless one of the following characters die: Orga, Mika, Arta, Kudelia. These are the main four.

Carta should be dead.. I guess the writers wanted her alive so we could get a great revenge scene going, but at least show how she got away 😵

AV Ein vs Tekkadan will be interesting to watch.

And I love Mika's and Orga's relationship. Seems a bit crazy, but they've been killing to survive since they were kids. Orga promised to Mika that they'll get to a point without worries some day, and so Mika is just keeping him on the tracks like he's always been, just with a little more force this time around. Great scene!

Wow okay, a slow downer episode, maybe a little too formless, because Biscuit's death was so obviously coming. He was obviously still a very important character, and I am very sad too.

Mika is a psycho, and Naze is kind of creepy. Like Naze is potentially like a rapist, but as others have said, perhaps he doesn't sleep with all of the rescued women. It seems like Tekkadan is going to make some dumb-ish moves, and Orga might get killed in the next few episodes.

mika is surely effective with his ways, but it's too cold for being liked by me, i like sympathetic and empathetic characters and he is literally a cold blooded killing machine, understandable seeing his past but still very scary.
We also have a more in depth explaination about Turbines, Neze saves women on the brink of death and maybe he calls them wifes to seem manly, but a lot of them had children with him so i don't really know.
i already miss biscuit.
