| Hordy will execute Neptune as a sign of a new era, an era where Fishmen dominate humans. Further, he will bring in Fishmen outlaws to help. By using the signatures as proof he will also do as Hachi said, hunt down the human sympathizing fishmen. However, he's doing the execution publicly in 3 hours to make sure everyone sees it and knows to fear him. He's also using Zoro, Usopp, and Brook as hostages to lure Luffy over to fight him as he wants the Straw Hats heads. I must say, to have people stomp on Otohime's picture is just another point on why he was probably her assassin and it's quite interesting people know Hordy as the soldier who killed the man who killed Otohime. He also wants to kill Shirahoshi and is afraid of her power which will definitely come into play later, same with the princes rage that he's tossing their mothers dream down the drain yet again. As for the comedy scene in the cage, it felt like bad filler to me at first because I didn't see Zoro's chains. Although it'd be very like Usopp to play dead for a moment if the situation was bad, I never saw Zoro doing that. Upon realizing he was chained up makes it way better though. So, Brook being mistaken for a corpse wasn't used to have an acting member of the hostage trio but instead used for this joke. It was so fun to see Brook laughing at making the fishmen scared and then laughing over his own dead joke and then laughing over Usopp's fantastic impression of Robin. And that impression was phenomenal, he's taking Luffy lessons I see, it even ended with the most hysterical transition I've ever seen- directly to Robin. Speaking of Robin, she mentioned this poneglyph is an apology by someone named "Joy Boy". Then of course, the Jimbei/Luffy confrontation. It now makes sense why Jimbei wants to handle this, he sat aside to make sure Luffy didn't get involved as to not worsen fishman-human relations. He's willing to fight Luffy to prevent him from changing history for the worse, in the name of the greats like Tiger and Otohime, he has to be the one to deal with Hordy. Even though I don't fully get it as a human saving the king in an era where people are already becoming sympathetic to humans would better it in my head. The detail of seeing Ace in Luffy and being cautious because of it and having serious Luffy mode was great. Jimbei beat Luffy handily when they were both near death in post-Marineford, but he was in a rage. This should be a true test of their strength now and a way to see how far Luffy has come. |

| Hordy's coup is now in full motion and that moment where he regarded the petitions of those who voted to support Otohime's wishes as a list of "traitors" in particular was a rather scary moment Surprisingly enough, Usopp's Robin impression was spot-on! Robin mentioned some very important info about the poneglyphs too. It's looking like Jimbei wants everyone to sit still while he takes care of everything but he knows that Luffy ain't gonna sit still. He has friends to save, after all. |

| I completely forgot, how did Zoro, Usopp, and Brook even get captured to begin with? They all seemed conscious when they were pulled from the water, and were seemingly trying to fake being passed out, so was there some sort of plan I completely missed? Also, couldn't Brook just slip through those bars as a skeleton? Or maybe Zoro could, with his gorilla strength, break those chains? I'd also figure Usopp would be crafty enough to have some hidden gadget or tool to break free. I understand why Luffy would be willing to fight Jinbei to save his crew, but I dunno. The whole conflict relies on Luffy being too dense, or rather too insensitive, to comprehend the nuances between human and fishmen relationships. Though, would it be easier for them to stop wasting time, break through the palace together, and have Jinbei or the princes take on Jones while the Luffy and friends save everyone captured? That way, the optics of "humans defeating Jones" could be sidestepped. They seem to have the same approximate goal, but this miniature conflict feels like it could have been easily avoided. |

| That name Joy Boy is likely to be a name to keep in the back of the mind for a while. So much for Usopp saying he was no longer one of the weak ones. Bad throw meant he and Brook also got captured because Zoro was incapacitated. Too bad Brook couldn't properly take advantage of scaring the fishmen. Hordy showing himself as another hypocrite like Arlong. Claims to be the superior race, yet only caught Neptune and the other Strawhats by taking unnatural drugs and talks about human treatment of fishmen while he is doing the exact same right now. While I can half understand Jinbei's concern of letting Luffy go...he is clearly not thinking clearly. Luffy wouldn't just be going to stop Hordy, of which surely the majority of fthe residents would be happy at him for doing, but he'd be freeing their King. How can that be seen as bad? And if he still has concerns, having the residents see Jinbei (a well respected figure) fighting alongside Luffy to save Neptune...surely that would give off the best image to unradicalised doubters. Also surprised that Luffy's bounty only went up 100 mil after everything that happened. The assault of a Celestial Dragon and escape from an Admiral, the break in/out of Impel Down (they don't have to reveal the reason for the increase too much), and then his participation at War of the Best. Would've thought it would double after all that. Or go up to 500 mil at least, especially considering the major threat he is now after 2 years away. |

| Man hordy just awful. Also come on Brock. At least cut Zoro out. Sanji been little annoying this arc, but I loved the moment when Luffy and Sanji high five. Luffy a true wing man. Then Jinbae and Luffy fight set up. Lot with this. One I don’t think it will happen or be long. Not like the Usopp Luffy fight. Also I kind of see both points. Obviously Jinbae is right and has to be a Fishman issue. And if Zoro and the other 2 were not captured I believe Luffy would let him. But when you attack the straw hats. It’s personal for Luffy and he could care less about anything else. So both have in the right. I kind of just wish they went in together. Jinabe would fight hordy and Luffy go save the others. I’m not sure why they can’t work together here. Liked that image of Luffy and Ace. Who I still miss. Finally if they do fight and go all out. I actually think Luffy would win. Pre time skip Jinbae would. But post time skip I think Luffy can take him. Either way it actually be the first person who strong enough to even give Luffy a challenge post time skip |
