| Reviews of this season and replies in this thread are the reason why I don't come in these forums anymore. These takes are so dense that it's impossible to read them seriously, probably made by young people that haven't seen a real shounen in all of their lives. Absolutely terrific season, almost every episode with a cliffhanger that really annoyed me lots. I have to admit that I expected more of Mitsuri in the final episode, Zohakuten should've beaten her if not for Tanjiro and Nezuko. As always ufotable is the best at animating. Peak voice acting of Hanakana and both upper demons. Soundtrack felt off during all of the season but during the final episode I heard some of the best since entertainment district's arc and Kyojuro's death. Loved both OP and ED, millet is in her way to be the new Aimer. My final thought as a non-manga reader: why does Muzan want to eat Nezuko but not Genya? He seems to be a semidemon too that has beaten the sun... 8/10 |

| I wonder if there's an explanation for Nezuko's sudden immunity to sun. Though with how Muzan turned into a demon thanks to a random drug, I'm not expecting anything beyond "it just happened". I can't come up with a single redeeming thing about this season. If that's the quality of writing of the series going forward, I'll probably drop it quick. I already didn't care much about new episodes in this season. |

| Nezuko surviving sunlight, eh? What's that now... 14, 15 on the Deus ex Machina counter? And that's a big one too, right when she was about to die to the thing that's been setup as a demon's biggest weakness, she suddenly isn't. Let's count it as two Deus ex Machinas for an even 16. |
| The only highlight of this season is Nezuko conquering the sun. And Tokito past is also interesting. That's all... Mitsuri is pretty, but it's such a shame.... No cool fight from her... The Hashira Tengen and Rengoku fight is still the best. The demon king past story? Interesting... He killed the doctor while still a human.... He's not a good guy since the beginning after all. |

It added more disturbing aura to Muzan casually leaving the room after brutally killing two people and not caring even to devour their bodies, as you'd expect from other demons. He just murdered them on a whim, without any reason other than getting rid of humans that were not of any use for him any longer. That shot of Muzan walking over the corpses of the foster mother and maid really caught my eye. The way that his right foot bumps into their lifeless legs feels so real, and makes it all the more unsettling. |

| That was amazing! ufotable added scenes that were not even from the manga. I cried in this episode when Tanjiro cannot cut off the head and when Nezuko withstood the sun. But I also trembled in fear in Muzan's rage... He's super scary when he realized Nezuko's the key to conquer the sun! |

| of course once again with false promotion about 70 mins. It's a good finale for sure, i really thought Nezuko will be gone gone. Finally learning more about how Muzan become a Demon. So it's kinda like a disease plus mutation? Overall it's quite a step down from Entertainment district arc in terms of Animation for sure. 7/10 for me. |

| I thought this episode was going to be 70 minutes long? There's been news circulating around facebook since last week saying as such. Nice episode, honestly, I screamed when Nezuko finally overcame the sun despite already having read the manga. Also Genya's reaction to Kanroji will never not be funny lol. |

| I knew they weren't going to kill Nezuko. It just doesn't seem like the mangaka's style to do that. I didn't expect her to talk though that was a legit surprise. A welcomed one at that. Although this episode still tugged at my heartstrings. The ending with everyone cheering and thanking Tanjiro was wonderful. Almost put me to tears seeing how he got so much rightfully earned appreciation. Does this show have some ass pulls yes. Tanjiro breaking his leg and then just focusing all his breathing their effectively mastering thunder breathing. Complete BS, same with Nezuko surviving. But I still like it non the less. It's all to prove humans can go beyond what we thought was possible. Both Tanjiro and Nezuko are pushing forward every day in order to accomplish their goals. Proving both demons and humans wrong. I can't wait for season 4. |
| Swordsmith Village Arc - END wowwww lol what a crazy finale. I actually really liked this arc a lot, even though overall I think Entertainment District was better. The setting in this one started out pretty promising but once the damage got done, it just became another destroyed city backdrop like the last one, but with way less cool villains to fight . The vase guy and Tokito's fight was cool, but the Demon was super lame until he went into his final form, which only lasted for about a second. Then the emotion Demon was pretty cool as well, I liked all his different forms, but the battle very much seemed like it was being stalled probably in the anime to drag the runtime out, it didn't ever feel like a demon they could beat reasonably. Mitsuri is cool as well, but she had even less to do, and I just don't feel any emotion towards her at all. ED and Mugen Train had the better Hashiras and Demons, but the heart at the end of this season, and the horrible backstory of Tokito was crazy. Then there's Genya, who finally we get to see in action after being sort of in Season 1. I think he was pretty cool, I like the way he fights, but we got like no backstory for him, and I heard that in the manga a little more goes into explaining exactly what his powers are? Idk, he could have had more to do, same with Mitsuri, but I liked him. One thing I liked about this arc that I wish more went into was the old old Demon Slayer boy with the cool sword. We've got like an inkling as to who he is, he looks a lot like one Upper Rank Demon, same hair, markings, and earrings as Tanjiro, and he knew Sunlight Breathing ... Cool ig. Hopefully we learn more about him, and I really wish Tanjiro kept his sword in the end. Idk why he didn't lol. I full on thought Nezuko was about to die by the end of this. I was like, are they really gonna kill her off??? Is the rest of the series going to be a full on revenge story?? Wtf is gonna happen????? I'm pretty relieved she's alright, but how and why on earth can she withstand the sun???? We also finally got some Muzan backstory which was really really cool. I hope more goes into the exact reason *why* he turned into a vampire, but for now this is a cool explanation. Also reveals he's been looking for a way to conquer the sun, which sounds a lot like DIO, but now that he has a way he will be actively searching for Nezuko now. Now that it's over, Tanjiro killed Upper Moon 4!!! That's a crazy feat!!!! It will probably be what leads into the next arc, so I am interested to see where that goes. Depending on the pacing of the next season, I predict at the very least the show could end with five seasons in total. We are nearing the end!!! Very excited for the next arc!!  |

| Great episode, a very nice conclusion to the arc. Too bad we didn't get too much of Kanroji fighting but damn the sequences with Tanjiro using the Lightning Breathing method to boost his speed and pretty much every sequence where he went for Number 4's head was awesome. Though I feel like sometimes they spend to much time trying to slice the head, it's cooler when it's a clean slit like how Tokito did it. Anyway, I teared up when Tanjiro did trying to make the decision of whether he should sacrifice Nezuko. In my head, I kept thinking there's no way they would let Nezuko die and as expected Nezuko conquered the sun! It was great to hear her speak again. Muzan backstory was interesting, safe to assume that we will probably not get an explanation of what the concoction he drank was? I assume whatever he drank turned him into an Oni. Give that his story starts all the way in the Heian era, I was curious if some other folklore might be woven into his story but doesn't look like it. Can't wait for the next arc. 9/10 |

| I thought this was a great season finale, it was great seeing Nezuko finally speaking and being able to stand in the sun and also the flashback of Muzan, as well as just a lot of great action sequences While I would say this was my least favorite season so far, or at least the most underwhelming, it was still quite good and well-made I think I'll probably finish the manga from this point at this time in between seasons |
| Bro wtf was all of this season. You got some of the biggest ass pulls in anime just for plot convenience and the entire season is just flashback after flashback of people. Animation's still fucking gorgeous tho. |
| The worst season of the series? Yeah, the worst season of the series. The animation is downgraded, but that isn't big here. The biggest offenders are the shitty exposition and the overly-stretched dialogue. Force flashbacks too cuz why the hell not? |
