What are your favorite animated series from your country?

Mine (for France) are Skyland and Galactik Football.
They would probably fit in my Top 15 Anime on MAL if they were anime.

Not an anime thread, but, as an American, it is Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry, Popeye, The Pink Panther and Betty Boop depending on how old the person you are asking is. I think everyone can agree on the first two regardless of age, though.

Hmmmm Poland [Counting here also coproductions]:
Cyberpunk Edgerunners [2022], Reksio [1967–1990 - I think that one is top 1 Iconic], Bolek i Lolek[1963-1986 - this one is top 2 iconic or as iconic as Reksio, maybe Bolek i Lolek are top 1 cause now I reminded myself that they appear often at memes], Dziwne przygody Koziołka Matołka [1969-1971], Kajko i Kokosz [1972 - thankfuly to this thread I just found out that there is a remake from 2021 on Netflix, maybe I'll watch it], Król Maciuś Pierwszy [2002-2006], Pies, kot i... [1972-1976], Animowana historia Polski [2010 - one short clip - quite popular on youtube], Franz Kafka [1991], Tytus, Romek i A’Tomek wśród złodziei marzeń [2002 - I even played the video game based on these characters], Sztuka Spadania [2004], Twój Vincent [2017].

Out of these which are not considered Anime [So Excluding Cyberpunk] I'd say my top 1 is Twój Vincent [Loving Vincent] from 2017, making a movie in an artystyle of Vincent Van Gogh without destroying his art and making it "real" that was incredible. For interested here's English trailer from CR Australia [From what I know it is available on Netflix x) ] -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGzKnyhYDQI

Clips/Shots/Trailers of mentioned stuff:

None, I guess. I can't even remember a single animated series from my country. Animated movies are a different thing though.

This is the only one I remember watching (and even then I hardly remember anything about it): https://myanimelist.net/anime/2813/Chiisana_Ahiru_no_Ooki_na_Ai_no_Monogatari__Ahiru_no_Kwak

So I guess that one wins by default.

Does Tom & Jerry count as a "series"? If not, then Airbender.

We probably make the best live-action and maybe radiodrama in the world, or at least did for a very long time, but there's very little full British animation I remember. Some great things which mix animation and live-action, but most of my childhood animation is American, Americanised Japanese or those Japan-continental Europe co-productions. Dangermouse is well reputed, but I never really watched it. There's Wallace and Gromit, but it's not really a series. I think the best I can come up with is Count Duckula.

I remember different ones. Like Tracey McBean. I don't think much of Erky Perky at all (Canadian animated I'm pretty sure which happens with some shows).

I don't remember many or think highly of many from my country. Some are just eh for artstyle. Some I just don't remember enough. Many I'm out of the loop on even anymore what we 'actually' make or thought up ideas for of animated shows compared to notable live action ones of dramas/soup operas or trashy tv shows while others are fine enough.

Some I'd have to actually look up to make sure of as many I think were US, UK or Canada likely even if they were part of the 'were have 5 shows and here is our live action segments in-between the shows' type of hour blocks too.

I only watched certain things and not many that were made or the 'idea' was from my country but of course animated in Canada or otherwise.

I don't remember what live action either. I mean Freaky was a good kids horror series from New Zealand, that I watched a few years ago as it was never on DVD only tv so episodes were backed up on YT.

Most others I remember were UK or Canadian I think.

I always liked Soup Opera a french food making creatures stop motion show that were shorts in-between other shows.

This was a movie, not a series, unless you count the Flash animated videos that aired on satellite TV:

I mean I live in the US, so The Amazing World of Gumball.

As for Vietnam, I don’t even know if they have any animated series.

Lol I don't know... Bluey? I've gotten pretty sick of it at this point (it's freaking everywhere) but I like the dad a lot so I'll say that.

The only other Australian cartoons I can think of are stuff like Bananas in Pyjamas and Blinky Bill but they were a bit before my time unfortunately.

South Park
Rick and Morty
Looney Tunes

Greatness. The first two at least beats any animated entry in this database. The other depends on how it's broken down and what characters are involved so can't really judge its placement.

I guess the best thing we came out popularity wise was - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Three_Fools (For context those characters are loosely based on bulgarian folklore.)

Also Saberspark was kind of impressed - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBNCLHnSXL0 by this ugly sci-fi animated movie - [url]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treasure_Planet_(1982_film)[/url]

I remember growing up with shows like Being Ian, and 6Teen. Most Canadian cartoons have a reputation for being terrible, sadly.

Thomas the Tank Engine & Tugs if they count? UK really doesn't do animation quite the same as Japan or other countries, lots of live action animation mostly.

Spongebob, I guess.

in Australia, i believe the shows from here specifically that I ended up liking growing up were Animalia, The silver brumby, Sumo Mouse and Master Raindrop. but looking back on most of these now they really don't hold up at all. I found the majority were way better in my mind before rewatching them.

Don't like any animated show from here but an upcoming film does seem to have potential. It's called the Glassworker and its going to be a ghibli styled animated film. Its been worked on for years and I heard they took some help from Japan as well to make it look like an old ghibli film.
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.
