Do you normally like to watch one anime at a time or do you watch multiple animes at the same time? If multiple, how much do you watch at a time: 2 to 5 or can you do more than that?

I usually watch one anime at a time that has been already aired.

+ multiple seasonal anime of course.

So I take it that you don't watch animes that are still airing and like them already aired?
Personally for me watching airing animes is cool because I get to watch recent things that others have watched so I feel like I'm relevant and fit in with the others, but also that it gets boring waiting every single week for a new episode to come out, so that's why I would watch something else in the process.

Edit after you edited it: Oh, makes more sense that way.

Before I did seasonal watches I was strict 1 at a time. And I still maintain that for finished series.

With seasonals I am up to 40+ at a time now.

Watching one at a time requires some level of patience I guess.

Watching more than 5 non-seasonals gets a bit overwhelming for me. The most I've done is 2-3.

5 is one thing, but 40 sounds like a severe lack of grass contact (jk)

Oh yes. Patience and attention. I was like this, but as I found more good stuff I couldn't keep with 1.

Yeah, that's only natural for weebs, we can't help it. That's how I started out as well, but due to me wanting to fit in with other anime fans I know, I might watch more than 5.

To be fair, it depends on the amount of free time and anime availability.
That is to say, if the anime is seasonal and I were on top of its progress then it would be once weekly.

If it were past anime then it would depend on the amount of free time I have allocated to sitting down and watching.
This would be, on average, two anime per sitting but may be more if the pacing is good enough for me not to doze off ...
Well said, that's what I wanted to say.

Some seasonals, like most people, and 1 old anime at the same time. I dont watch 2 or more old anime at the same time, unless I put one of them on hold, but that´s wierd.

On going/seasonal, as much as I'm interested in. Before this season I thought about starting 10, soon they were 7, then 6, now I'm thinking of watching just 3.

Completed, one at a time. I tried to watch more some times and no good, I ended up stalling them for months or focusing on just one before moving on to the next one, so yeah, one at a time.

Excluding current seasonals, I'd say more than 90% of the anime I watch is binging straight through, especially if it's one cour or shorter.

Typically, i'll try 2. I like to balance shorter shows and longer shows. A few episodes of one and a few of the other every day.
My waifu is the most wonderful waifu. Mai Valentine.

We're freaking out that we're running out of time, but to do what? Should i stop and think of that? Is there something i could do to slow it down? Live in a day for once, instead of watch it sprinting by

At this moment I have 39 titles in my watching list, counting the stuff I'm re-watching. So I watch a lot of stuff at the same time, it always depends on the mood and it's good to have a bit of everything for each moment of your day and week.

right now I have too many shows that I’m watching, since there’s stuff from this season and also stuff from prior seasons that I have yet to finish as well as other stuff

but usually I would try to keep it under 15 shows since after that I lose track on what happens in each show to be honest

Typically between 1 to 52-100 at the same time some of them were/are already completed some of them are just simply seasonals [If not the fact that I was getting annoyed by scrolling down and up my watching list I wouldn't have created On-Hold which also count as "Watching - but I'd rather follow seasonals and come back someday maybe].

excluding seasonals, I like to watch less than 3 at a time. I like putting my full focous on shows so I can better enjoy and understand them.  I used to watch alot at one time before, but I was just overwhelmed and wasn't able to enjoy it very much.

Several at a time, i often watch a couple of complete ones at a time so that i can switch depending upon my mood, also depends a lot on the show some I will binge watch in a day others can take me a month. Plus the whole seasonal situation which has blow up quite considerably of late to the point that in full swing probally watch 20+ odd shows to vary degrees a week.

For example Komi-san i watched first season in like a day, Nagasarete Airantou ive been watch gradullly over a couple of months, plus god know how many seasonal episdoes, and many other shows i binge watch. I think I may have an attention problem at times :P life also tends to get in the way. I think my watch list last season average about 30 shows a week.

I guess i watch to much Anime? Is that a thing?

One at a time. I think it's easier to reflect on a series when you're viewing it in isolation.

Typically one at a time. I used to dual watch anime, but found this distracted from the plot and lessened the impact. Typically, I only watch something relatively light or quick alongside a series if I need a break or the plot is too intense.
