| Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan - Tsuioku-hen -- You've got the TV series in your PTW, it's good stuff by 1999 standards but there are newer shounen fighting shows out there now. This Tsuioku-hen prequel, though, is simply timeless and still rated #2 OVA on MAL. Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Die Neue These - Kaikou -- First installment so just follow the sequels afterwards (Seiran Pt. 1,2,3, Gekitotsu, Sakubou with more coming). If you can't wait to get to the story conclusion then there's also the original (Die Neue These being a re-make). For the original I recommend this order: 1) Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Waga Yuku wa Hoshi no Taikai -- Prequel movie. 2) Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Arata naru Tatakai no Overture -- Movie version of first two episodes of the main series. 3) Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu -- Main series. You can skip episodes 1 & 2 because Overture already covers it better. Btw, this is the OVA that is rated #1. Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 -- Another remake of a classic. Haibane Renmei Violet Evergarden is already in your PTW list. I could suggest more but that's a pretty solid list that'll keep you busy for a while (plus, lasting impression for me might not be for you but the shows I did list are safe bets). |

| A Silent Voice is the biggest one. Orange, too, which is in the same vein. They're both pretty heavy, however. If you're looking for lighter subject material, Mob Psycho 100. That show absolutely changed my life. If you're into things which aren't just heavy, but particularly dark, Serial Experiments Lain is my go-to. |
