Man, this episode was epic, epic in the fact that we got a massive battle at night highlighted by Vash's determination to win. The poster they advertised lived up to its hype imo and if you could get used to the CGI, this episode/show is truly a spectacle. I should also praise the chereography cause it was incredibly intense too. If you were invested into this fight, it was worth it. |

Vash is almost drained of his Plant thanks to Nai's memory manipulation to connect to the Plant Core through the Gate, as JuLai is being subjugated by the giant beast. But Meryl will not give up in her pursuit to awaken Vash in the current world, and all this happens within the clasps of their past memory in space, for Rem to revitalize his humanity in spirit. Vash has finally awoken from Millions Knives's illusion dream and converged the Plant into the Core, and the final confrontational fight between the twin brothers has been a long time forthcoming, with Orange putting out their best, and most magnificent 3DCG performance thus far, talk about truly living up to the hype. Sure, everyone is pissed about the Humanoid Typhoon wrecking places where he will always be, but nothing will displace the fact that Nai wishes for nothing but humanity's destruction for Independents like him. The only place for the Core to be released in outer space due to its magnitude of power, and the differences between the brothers' ideals only pave the way for Nai's persistence to get hold of this power to transcend to the next dimension...to end in a total disaster. The entire city of JuLai pulverized to a large crater, and with the Worms' warning that both will be back somehow, Meryl is assigned to the newbie that would be Milly Thompson, she's not out of the new series yet (as we surmised all this while)! The FINAL PHASE (or Season 2, rather) is coming soon: https://twitter.com/trigun_anime/status/1639635026571587586 What an intense finale to see the end of both Vash and Nai, and an experience it is to watch Trigun in a new coat of paint. |

Wow... what a spectacle of an episode this was. Orange bringing out their best in the final episode of this season was no surprise but it was mindblowing and incredible to see. The fight between Nai and Vash was so masterfully done. It was so amazing. I have not seen the original but it was all I wanted before I go back and watch the original. One of the most overlooked anime of this season and just because of the inclusion of 3DCG even when the 3DCG is done like this. I just want to say that don't skip this just because it's CG, it's so well done. Give it a chance... It'll definitely amaze you. I loved Vash so much and Meryl above all. Orange made her character so much more adorable. Couldn't have asked for a better final episode. The FINAL phase is coming soon. Can't wait. Please give it a chance. |

I don't know who's a person in charge that crazy enough to approve high budget for this remake, but thank you. I get a climate change message, which is good, even if I still don't know if the plant is supposed to be a power plant or vegetation, but I assume it means both way, a vegetation that can also give power, water, nutrition, etc. I'm just too obsess with Vash and Nai relationship, I love when two guys fight each other because they love each other too much to the point that it becomes a toxic relationship. |

Finally this series emerged as one of my favorites of the season: I liked the good animated battle between brothers, Meryl character and the good building to the next season where will appear a known character for the old series fans. In comparison to the manga more faithful than the old series but it is a good reboot. Many times a reboot fail cause often disappoint the old fans (like the FF7 remake) but this isn’t the case. This time as an old series fan i enjoyed this new reboot series. |

Perfect emotional end to this part of the journey. A reboot I never knew I needed, the original Trigun has a special place in my heart so once I heard a new version was being made I couldn't help but be excited. Thankfully it all worked out because I loved Trigun Stampede. Seeing this new version of characters dear to my heart was a joyful experience. How they took Vash the Stampede and showed us who he is. A kind hearted man trying to bring humans together on this barren planet. Someone whom has the misfortune of getting all the blame when things go wrong yet none of the credit for the good he's done. Vash never letting that get him down, even in the finale still trying to reason with Knives that humans can come around. Wolfwood another favorite reinvigorated in this reboot. Seeing his full story of the orphanage, the experiments, and Livio. A sad story like most on this planet, lots of death and pain following everyone. Meryl and Roberto adding that purely human aspect, both optimistic and jaded sides. Bringing them together for this with the incredible animation the studio provided. People can say what they want about 3d CG animation but I dare them to watch the final fight between Vash and Knives flying around the city and tell me that doesn't look amazing. Its unparalleled how fluid the animation always looked, definitely the best 3d CG anime to date. I appreciated how they took things from the original anime, things from the manga and some new stuff swirling it all together to make this new version. The teases at the end of the finale made me so excited for what's next. We just had the famous July incident which makes Vash the worst criminal on their planet, Millie got not only teased but name dropped, and there's some people on their way. I hope we get more soon. 90/100 |

I just wanna take a moment and laugh at the toxic Trigun fans for being so dumb to hate this series for some ridiculous reasons like Vash's hair and absence of Milly and Vash's bounty not being $$60,000,000,000. Rather than open mindedly accepting it and understanding what that is a retelling pf the Author's work and an Original show with the Manga plot points, they were busy advising people with "DoNt WaTcH tHiS, iT's nOt FoLlOwInG tHe MaNgA oR tHe 98's AnImE". Yes, Now shut up... We don't need your stupid opinions. We'll judge the show for ourselves. Yes, Milly will finally make her appearance as Meryl's partner in the final Phase. And Vash has got the $$60,000,000,000 as his bounty after the Julai incident This was hand's down the best episode of this season overall. Vash finally unlocks his plant powers and learns to control the gate. He is just as adamant, wanting to protect humans and have a coexistence with plants, as Nai wanting to destroy humanity to create a new world for Independent plants. But, in the core, I think Nai just wants to protect his brother from the cruel cruel world, but going on a mad rampage committing genocide is not how you protect someone. Now, I dont know if Nai is dead, but it definitely looks like he was burnt alive. Hope he somehow manages to survive and returns as Vash's nemesis in the final phase as well. The show really ended in a nail biting cliff hanger. Hope we get the final phase soon. |

Didn't think would end up liking this reboot much less craving for more of it. Cgi this, cgi that.. I mean it can be an eyesore most of the times but not when this studio does something. They did that epic obliterating the whole city away scene justice. Now just hope part 2 doesn't take much time. Spiky Vash + Milly cameo/10 |

super disappointed tbh, its super rushed especially in the final few episodes and i had such high hopes for vash but he ended up feeling like a shallow character and a walking archetype of paficism with no other characteristics since those characteristics he had at the beginning disappeared. the rest of the characters are not that much better and the dynamics are boring and repetitive. it really sucks cause i had really high hopes from that awesome premiere but my enjoyment only soured more and what i thought was going to be potentially better than the og ended up being less enjoyable. shame edit: that being said this episode was probably the strongest it's been since episode 6 and it did leave me excited for more. im feeling a bit optimistic about cour 2 but im skeptical because of how mixed this series left me. 5/10 |

Nai wants his race to not be slaves by humans but ye his mentality is just darwinism like kill or be killed also eat or be eaten for the sake of survival while Vash pacifism makes sense just runaway from all the darwinism and go for coexistence more its much harder to do but its ideal heck ideals is what changes the world more anyway more than realistic thinking but ye i still feel sad for Nai he just wants to save his own kind from slavery but whats wrong is he wants to genocide the human race Milly Thompson confirmed for the sequel too so the leakers are correct |

The best episode of this season. Such good action, that camera and movements! Beautiful. Hope to see more CGI anime this quality. Kinda feel bad for Knives here, his actions are understandable, he just wished for all Plants to have better lives. But Vash won in the end and I'm happy with that too. I didn't watch the OG anime or read the manga, but it was cool to see Vash with spiky hair and Milly, the absence of which manga readers and OG watchers complained about at the beginning of the season, being mentioned. Excited for (the final) season 2! 8/10 I really hope that my English is correct. |

Spiky hair!!!!! SPIKY HAIR IS BACK!!! What an amazing episode with a fantastic fight scene and a 10000/10 voice acting (especially from Matsuoka woah I hope his vocal cords are okay). If they animated this anime in 2D we don’t think these spectacular scenes would be as perfect as the CGI animation. I know a lot of fans are mad about this but you gotta trust Orange Studio with this bc they freaking DELIVERED!!! Great conclusion for this season, can’t wait for the second one to come out soon and see our girl Milly, really excited to see her new design! |

Remember how people were bitching because of Vash's haircut and absence of Milly Thompson in this reboot? It's almost as if people shouldn't have been so quick to jump the gun, and actually watch the damn show to see how it plays out first 😱😱😱 crazy concept, I know. So it looks like this acted as a prequel of sorts, as we see the events that eventually leads to the spiky-haired runaway we all know and love receiving a $$60 billion bounty, along with seeing how Meryl and Milly become a duo. I wonder if the people who complained will switch up now. That final fight was really good, the choreography and camera work was great, while the CGI was fluid. What a shame that so many people wrote this off early because of the animation style, Berserk 2016 really brainwashed anime fans into thinking CGI = automatically bad. The story was interesting, and Orange's CGI was great. Obviously it wasn't perfect all the time but it's leagues ahead of what most other studios can do. Looking forward to the next season to see where the story goes. |

Meryl's voice finally reached Vash and he came back with his signature spiky hair no less. The action sequence was incredible, that was epic. Nai wasn't in the wrong but his way of doing things isn't right either. Vash managed to stop Nai but at the cost of the city which got totally obliterated. Looks like we even got a two year timeskip, Meryl has grown and she's even getting a newbie under her, the famous Milly Thompson. Also looks like Vash has amnesia. Great episode to end the season, probably the best in the season. Glad we are getting more, hopefully part 2 will come out soon. |

Amazing. Absolutely amazing!!! I usually hate when during the final fights, the main character all of a sudden gets trapped in this dream world since it always drags for me, but I didn't feel that at all here. I was engrossed from start to finish. Maybe because the finale was only like 3 episodes lol, but still. That fight scene was GORGEOUS. Absolutely immaculate. I normally avoid CGI shows, but since I loved the original Trigun, I decided to give this one a chance and the CGI was done so freaking well it makes me wonder why so many other CGI anime just plain suck lol. I cannot wait to tell my best friend he needs to watch this ASAP. I'm blown away and probably one of my favorite shows this season. I'm probably one of the only OG Trigun fans who loved Vash's new design, and I'm going to miss the floppy hair. RIP Knives and Floppy Hair. NGL, I'm kinda sad Knives lost in the end. He was lowkey spitting lol. Like, they literally showed all of the (legitimate) reasons this guy hates humanity, and it's like...you can't really blame him? I'd honestly prefer a planet where plants get to live as more than energy sources for humans even if all humans are dead as a result (except Meryl, Milly, and Nicholas). This series makes it hard to like them especially when they tried to gun Vash down in the midst of him saving their lives. Vash is a saint. Could not be me. He literally had to obliterate his own brother for you people to survive, and we cut to a scene where they are paying $60,000,000,000 to hunt him down. Yikes. At that point, I'd just say let's end them all. Even if he would end up fathering like 300 different plant kids lol. It definitely had it's highs and it's lows, but I am excited af for season 2! The girls, Meryl and Milly, the dream team, are finally back together!!! Even though I legit almost cried when Roberto died and when they showed his dead body an episode later. Season 2 let's go!! I'm ready!! |

I'm struggling to put my thoughts together for this series. The last several episodes were great, and the animation was top notch throughout, but I still can't shake my disappointment at a lot of the earlier episodes in the season, and especially the fact that this interpretation of Vash feels far less compelling than the original's. If only the quality of the last few episodes (and episode 3) could've been kept up throughout, I'd have no qualms putting this at an 8 or 9/10. Definitely far more to like than dislike about this overall, though. Here's hoping the next season manages to keep up the quality of the final episodes. |

If they go by the Manga, Knives will be recovering. He'll be wearing an iron armor. This is not a spoiler this is such common sense, because the setup for season 2. Im not happy to see Milly back. She was annoying, her tone was nonsense weeb humour. Hope we will get Hoppered The Gauntlet in Season 2. He was one of my favorite characters in the original Trigun Maximum manga (wasted in the anime). I hope they focus more on his tiny legs deformation this time round. I also hope Elendira comes back grown up. I hate the stupid lolitafication of the character. Unnecessary. So if she was a trans Woman in the original, then I hope she'll be a Trans Man this time around. Just because it makes sense for the Gung Ho Guns (a bunch of misfits, cast out from society). Still time to show us Gray the Ninelives being 9 dwarves (we saw multiple Grey units... hopefully this time round we get to know they were controlled by 9 disfigured dwarves with hydrocephalus heads and charlie chaplin moustaches, im fine it's not 1 unit... but the dwarfism is important to the characters hatred to humanity). If Monev is out... then I'd like to see a return for the 1998 anime exclusive Caine the Longshot... he was the best thing in that abomination of that 1998 adaptation. And substitute Gazelle the Peacemaker for E.G. The Mine! the toy exclusive character would finally gets his spot in the limelight. Also obvious that Livio's shot to the head is what brought Razlo the Tri-P Punisher of Death persona to life. I have to say his character sucked compared to Trigun Maximum... but it's not too late to make Razlo a badass: |

This time as an old series fan i enjoyed this new reboot series. Anyway, back on topic. Stampede resulted in one of the best show this season, not that there was much competition. After these last 2 or 3 eps the ending point of the season was really obvious for anyone familiar with Trigun, and in fact it ended right there, with July's destruction, setting up everything really similarly to the start of the OG anime. Even if a lot of things have been rearranged and a lot of characters introduced or mentioned, those whiny fans blinded by nostalgia finally got Vash with its iconic hair, ther Wanted poster with the 60billion of double dollar, Milly's namedrop and many more. I'm not really particular familiar with Maximum but that ending teaser is something that was obviously Manga only. I'm sad for all the people that gave an hard pass to this because of CGI, animations, or rearranged characters/themes because I think a good portion of them would have ended up liking the overall product. Some episode direction is stellar, the animations almost-alwasy at least above average with some great fighting sequences and really pleasing to the eye after you get accustomated to the CGi and the OST, while minimal, still has some memorable tracks. Second season could be really great. |

Wasn't a fan of some of the changes in the beginning, primarily the exclusion of Milly, but I can say this ended up being pretty good. I like that they expanded on Knives' goals and he's no longer just evil for no reason. I also liked the shift from the episodic format of the original to more plot focused. I would still prefer a new season of Houseki no Kuni over more Trigun but I'll watch it anyway. |

Yeah Chronica is one of the two independent plant women on one of the other earth ships. In Maximum send to Gunsmoke to eradicate Knives, after a distress beacon send to earth asked for help. But since the story has changed in that Earth is not a living enviroment anymore. I guess this ship (as the name Project SEEDS suggests) is on it's way too populate Gunsmoke, and it's timing is of by a century so that the first set of ships could build an society. |

Those were the episodes I had the biggest problem with too. The only thing I really disliked about the Livio episodes were how pointless the Brilliant Dynamites Neon gang cameo seemed to be, and (like most of the series), how they handled Vash in them. The flashbacks, though, were pretty incredible. There's definitely a lot to love about this series, and in the end I'm glad they decided to try something new instead of playing it safe. As much as I complain about Vash's characterisation in this series, it's pretty much the only change they made that didn't work for me (aside from Roberto, I suppose, but it was more like I didn't care much either way for him than actually disliking his presence. His presence was worth it for his dynamic with Meryl at least, though.). |

Now that was a beautiful finale! I was very worried after Nai managed to enter the higher dimension at the end of the last episode, but in the end, Vash, Meryl and Rem were able to restore Vash's memory and give him a power boost while at it! And that final battle was so epic! In a way, Vash won, but at the same time, he could neither save Nai nor JuLy and got his bounty increased as well... Afterwards, we see a timeskip of two years, as Meryl visits JuLy Crater to pay respect to Roberto. Plus, there is a whole bunch of setup for the second season. Unfortunatly, there was nothing on Vash and Wolfwood. Overall, I really loved this show. It started of pretty good and only got better over time! It was one of the shows were I was always highly anticipating the next episode. The animation was beautiful, especially the fight scenes, and they had nice ost too! The characters were well written and I really like the backstories. The main antagonists (Nai and William) also deserve praise, as they had very interesting motivations! And all of that created a thrilling plot around them! My biggest criticism is the pacing. I wish they made this at least 13 episodes to develop a bit more besides the main plot. Many side characters, like the Jerona Rock inhabitants, Legato, Livio, Elendira and others got very little screen time and development. The world building was also cut short here and there, especially around Zazie and the worms. Wolfwood's connection to Nai and William was also pretty hard to follow. Especially because Zazie teased him to be a potential antagonist at the end of Ep 4. That said, all of these points can be corrected in the second season. I hope they don't just flood it with new characters but also put some work into the ones mentioned above. For my rating, it's either 8 or 9/10, depending on how well Season 2 follows up. Now, I have to decide whether I'll watch the original Trigun before or after the "Final Phase" of Stampede! |

In comparison to the manga more faithful than the old series but it is a good reboot. Many times a reboot fail cause often disappoint the old fans (like the FF7 remake) but this isn’t the case. This time as an old series fan i enjoyed this new reboot series. |

I like where this is going, they're pretty much retelling the manga(Trigun/Trigun Maximum) which the original show didn't completely cover. |

So the edgy self-proclaimed Millions Knifes guy turns out to be an incel looking to get some women pregnant because he's lonely. Gotcha. On a more serious note, that was a good episode and I'm glad there's going to be more of it. So Nai was into Old West movies, huh? That probably colored his thought process. A shame it got to the point he was convinced it was an "us vs them" kind of situation. I wish we knew more about their time on the ship, because we didn't see enough to justify that shift. Was Rem's love not enough? I get the feeling she wasn't as perfect as she seems from Vash's perspective. Ironic that if Vash had worked together with Nai, they probably could have solved the resources problem quite easily. Together they had enough power to prevent abuse of the plants, while still providing enough to keep humankind going. It would've bought enough time for "flora" or other more long term solutions to become viable. But Nai was too stuck up on his black and white view of the world, and Vash was too naive to apply his personal abilities effectively, so neither could accomplish a desirable outcome. I wonder what will happen in the "true ending" when we get S2. |

That was an amazing fucking anime. I knew Studio Orange was the best CGI studio out there, and they REALLY reinforced that fact. Easily their project by a god damn mile. I never really liked the original Trigun that much, it was always way too goofy for my liking and animation/art really did not age well at all. However this is what it was missing, the scope, the seriousness, the fights, the emotion, the smooth and CRISPY animation.... Stampede has it all. This is now my number 30 favorite anime off all time, and I've completed 875 anime Can't wait for season 2 for this greatness ! 8.5/10 |
