| People hated Demon Slayer, presumably because of the amazing innovative animation. People hated AOT for its incredibly innovative animation. People hate Chainsaw Man for its incredibly innovative animation. And they're all popular to boot, which people hate. Meanwhile people up in here defending Mob Psycho and Bocchi, which each had their issues but featured the animation people want and the style people prefer. Imagine if the world ran by what people expect rather than what we can DO. It would be a boring world. |

| The fanbase calling anything and everything about this show unique. If I had a penny for anytime a CSM twerker said something along the lines of "Denji is not your average battle shounen protagonist", I would have enough money to buy this site and replace some of the mods that have wronged me in the past by removing my posts without giving me specific reasons. |

| - Hiding the idiosyncratic animation of so many talented animators with shit loads of 2nd KA, basically the "normie-fying" thing. [Makes sense though MHA fans were calling an industry veteran like Norimitsu Suzuki's scenes in that anime "lack of budget" so being a director of a popular IP you would want to appeal to the normies, same reason why Demon Slayer's effects animation is so beloved] - Character designs are very detailed and rigid, too rigid enough that it becomes near impossible to be bended for extreme expressions. - The so called "cinematic" style which on it's own is actually extremely diluted [once again, the director can't go full auteur mode like some other legendary directors like Hiroshi Hamasaki or Shuko Murase] It's very disappointing for such a talented director like him, his music video had a lot of creativity, the cut at 1:08 with the background sweeping POV is so beautiful. No point mentioning "what could've been" as it is already out and most likely won't even change staff anyway for the sequels. I'm begging you Nakayama, don't fuck Reze up. Edit : Shut the fuck up OP, the CG was excellent. |

| Just the animation in general, it's so lazy. All we get are still, panning images, with no movement on screen whatsoever- besides their mouths when they are speaking. Open, and closed, and that's it. A little motion wouldn't hurt, sure would make watching this total slideshow a little bit nicer. |

| Anime adaptation is exactly what I wanted as a reader of the manga. 10/10 tbh, much more to cover in the plot, why I believe its getting hate. Give it time and youll see what every manga reader sees. |
