can't wait to see how isagi evolves. man now need only a weapon that allows him to score individually. his team play is great. with this new weapon bro will become too OP.

also i didn't know naruhaya could do anything. seemd like such a weak mob character.

The end of an era. Thank you Wit, Mappa and Isayama.
Feeling half happy, half sad.

Great episode! And what a suprise, I didn't expect Narahaya to make it past blue lock man tbh 😅if anyone else, I would've thought it'd be either Gagamaru, Raichi and MAYBE Kuon

I like Naruhaya. I've always liked him but I liked him even more in this episode. Isagi should learn a thing or two from him. But sadly, if Isagi and Nagi win, I will have to say goodbye to him. Hopefully Isagi will evolve and show us some fine plays next episode. Let him and Nagi win so they can get Barou and move on to the next fight!

Anyway my boi Bachira is getting along with the Top 3. I'm happy for him but I kinda feel betrayed lol. But I'm happy to see him naked and laughing. TvT

Although it was very frustrating seeing Isagi whine and struggle, I think this was an important character building episode to remind everyone just how far behind he is from being the ideal striker to win the World Cup for Japan. Barou and Nagi are geniuses who have special skills that can help them win games on their own.

Poor Isagi getting told that he's useless without a team. As long as he looks at all those who are stronger than he is and uses the gap in skill as motivation to get better, instead of complaining.

Naruhaya is good at demoralizing Isagi!
damn! Isagi is really showing his weakness: not being able to score by himself? or that's just words to let somebody down? hmmmm
5/5.

Yeah, exactly. Isagi isn't anyone special. To the point that it's already 14th episode and I still don't feel like cheering him on as MC. He'll probably go far anyway because we mostly see the story from his eyes, so it's obvious, but makes me wonder how believable it would be, or satisfying. Like really, I don't even care what happens to Isagi next.

Well, maybe that's the point, to make him grow from average joe to someone truly incredible, but why wouldn't other guys be able to do the same, especially with better starting abilities.

We get to see more of Isagi's character and how he is struggling with feelings of inadequacy and an inability / struggle to level up and progress.

One of the best points of this show continues to be the continual, never-ending push and dire need to improve, over and over and over again. No matter how much you progress, there will always be someone above you, there will always be someone that surpasses you. There will always be a 'genius' lurking around the next corner.

It was interesting to see one of Isagi's teammates we have not seen much of at all yet, coming in and talking to Isagi about just how average he thinks they both are. They are not geniuses, they are indeed just the average joe.
They must push beyond that if they will have any chance of pushing through this next chapter.

The show still keeps me engaged, but I feel as if it is somewhat losing my intensity of interest episode by episode, though it is not by much. I enjoy the progression and the continual new fights and heights Isagi and his teammates must overcome to progress, but I feel as though the initial dopamine hit of the concept has somewhat subsided at this point.

I do also hope for some more anime action scenes as there have been a lot of more still, dynamic shots as of these past episodes.

Before, I had this show at an 8/10, but now I feel it more revised towards a 7.5 instead.

Welp, ISagi's succumbing into his doubts and the odds don't quite look good. But we know he'll be able to take it back... somehow. Just gotta figure out the proper strategy, which I wonder what it is.

I thought Isagi's self esteem had strengthened, but he was truly annoying. Apparently, Nagi needs to pull him by his hair on the field. Can't believe he let Naru get in his head.

Since we didn't see any of the other guys, did their teams win or have they not played I wonder.

With the loss of their most valuable passer and dribbler, Bachira, both Nagi and Isagi have to find a way to master their 1 on 1 skill sets.
They face off against Barou and Naruhaya. Barou poses as an immediate threat with his charge and mid range shot. Not to mention his intimidating presence and physique.
Nagi and Isagi both adapt to their game. Nagi quickly masters his 1 on 1 skills against Barou. Having to redirect the control of the ball to the back of his foot and passing backwards. Making it hard for the defender to react and turn.

When we thought Nagi and Isagi the upperhand, Naruhaya unleashes his killer instinct ego against Isagi.

Isagi and Nagi sure aren't happy about their losses, that didn't look good

King Barou is back, seems like he tried his best with 4 goals, but his team still lost LOL

since Mc can't lose again, and we don't really care about Barou teammate... i wonder if they will challenge him or if they are scared

i like how Nagi said Barou would be his servant (he mentioned it again later during the match, that's so funny lol)

trying to come up with a plan, but Nagi sleepy :D tbh he has been doing too much, compared to when all he did was sleep and score a few goals here and there

lmfao Nagi was used to the better food from being high rank

Isagi's friend sure wanted to provoke him lol so they will play with Barou after all

oh, makes sense that Barou's shots are getting better, after all he played the 100 goals thing too

Nagi also learning the meaning behind what he used to do instinctively, so he can start using it in a different way whenever he wants to... just like teaching someone also helps you understand your thoughts better

look how nicely Nagi beat Barou with those touches
then the defender was scared but Nagi used that chance to do his sick jump trap... wow this guy lol

Barou trying to score from midfield, scary, how do you stop that?

that being said, things aren't looking good, even the other guy is doing better than Isagi, and that way they can't win...
Isagi better level up now or... it will be too late

Barou had lower ranking than Isagi. I don't understand how a man known for his long range shoots struggled at Blue Lock Man. Although Isagi has his direct shoots, so it may be possible after all.

Isagi was desparate because of skill difference. I can understand that. Even though he saw this much skill difference before against Barou or Nagi, he had team mates to rely on. But individual skill is more important now.

That being said, Blue Lock isn't about picking the player with best current skill. It is about allowing players to evolve their skills, and picking the player with the most skills at the end. Otherwise they would just pick Itoshi Rin and move on. Because the current skill difference is too obvious.

So cut Isagi some slack, he is still growing. There is no point being angry at our MC. That is natural cycle of learning. Just when you think you became the best, you realize you are the worst in another bracket. Sometimes you can have the Imposter Syndrome too.

I like how even someone like Naruhaya is given spotlight. I can definitely sympathise with Isagi finding himself inadequate in stats and basics compared to the monsters around him, even when he's got a decent weapon to fight with.

The new OP is bad, I hope the ED won't disappoint when we get it next episode or the second cour wil be at a complete loss, since the previous ED was giving extra character to the show.
