| I honestly don't get all the hate the aninmation gets. Personally I think what they are doing with CGI is pretty great and this is clearly the future of anime. |
| Action packed episode, Arai is dead, he was actually more redeemable than Kobeni but it is how it is, I like people dying when they do dangerous stuff (MiA should learn from this). The ED was a bit weak, 8.5/10. |
| lol, after last episode i dont actually give a fuck about anyone anymore, i hope everyone dies then comes back to life, then dies again, then comes back to life again, let the blood bath begin, shounen shit at its finest edit: lol, so makima just starts blowing people up remotely great if you just like bloody shit with no depth absolute trash otherwise makima, who also got shot in the head last episode and who had no hints given about her powers before hand so an ass pull :D 10/10 also the crybaby bitch that did nothing in the whole show leading up to this episode is now a badass the writing so gud i cant inb4 i get told to get a life for valid criticisms again, with the comment that i had no actual criticisms again, something something edit2: it makes me most mad that i actually had expectations for this show, my fucking bad, this is what happens when i hear a show will be great, i have expectations, and its just super fucking mid at best edit3: insert [this is where the real demons souls starts] meme here |

| Of course we had to be shown the sad scene of Himeno's desperate attempt to save Aki. And even though Himeno was already dead and her body completely gone, the rest of her Ghost Devil was still able to wake Denji up in pulling at his chest rope. We finally got the clash between Denji and the Katana Devil which was definitely fun to watch. So Sawatari is the name of that mysterious blonde girl which seems to have some extraordinary power. Unfortunately Denji didn't last long and got halved with a clean cut. In the meantime we got back to the train with Makima still being alive. I have no idea how she even survived or what she did to those men on the train, but it certainly looked gross. The most frightening part about Makima is, that despite this incident, she continued to remain so calm. Borrowing 30 convicts with life sentence or more, as well as finding the nearest temple with the highest altitude didn't make any sense to me. That was about to change when the enemy people began to explode lol. So that means, if Makima has one of the convicts recite a name of her choice, can she kill the person with that name? That's disgustingly overpowered. Yes, you need preparation, but still a crazy ability. The most unexpected thing in this episode was to see Kobeni fight. By no means was that the same whiny girl from a couple episodes back. Here movements were so smooth, just everything about her felt different. Not to forget, without her Denji would have been lost. Poor Arai died while protecting Kobeni. RIP. Did Makima eventually anticipate anything of this? Especially since she mentioned that the Gun Devil has to be involved. Overall great episode with lots of twists and a good amount of action. Loved the ED by Aimer. Looking forward to next week. |

| What a metal episode. Denji vs Katana fiend was great with how hard the OST was going, the visuals were ok more or less, kinda sad that Denji had to get folded after underestimating a terror organisations morals, but Makima brought it back. They gave Makima the spotlight and she fucking slaughtered it, not only surviving the attack on the train, but swung back with one of the craziest counters. What honestly makes her character so intriguing is the mystery that surrounds her, thus the build up to actually see someone force her hand was even better. A seamlessly invisible force that just explodes people and traumatises those around honestly fits her style, along with the setup, was a rlly cool idea to see. Honestly i've found her monotone voice to be way more scary now, its incredibly hard to read her tone whether it be her leaving a train full of dead people or reading your resign letter. She literally managed to flip the scales from what seemed to a full lose, to a at least even scale. Even if they lost the better Devil Hunters, the knowledge that she has the power and probably will use it to make u explode on the spot into a pool of blood is gonna send a message back. Damn, the fuck did they feed Kobeni to get her to go sicko mode. Actually surprised me how she did all of that like she trained her whole life for that moment. Some real John Wick shit how dodged all those shots in a open area, cut the dudes arm of and put a few rounds in him without looking, like the girl in the red hoodie literally used the same devil that killed the Ghost devil to try to kill Kobeni so she must of seen some threat in Kobeni that is on par with that. |

The truth had to be told. As a manga reader, I can tell you that these convenient plot devices just keep poping up out of nowhere, Makima keeps being a MaySue with convenient hidden abilities, and there's no character to care about, rinse and repeat until the grand "final twist" ass-pull. |

That's all the hints you need. The only other person with wierd eyes like her is Power who is a Fiend. If you didn't realise it so far, Devil's can regenerate and heal via blood. The show specified that in the first episode itself. The show gave you all the hints. It's just that you are just so dumb that you couldn't connect dots unless the shows blurts things out for you. In this episode we just saw what Himeno meant by that statement. Kobeni can fight, she just doesn't wants to be in this situation and wants to live a normal life instead. The writing is fine. The story has plenty depth for a shonen. It's not meant to be a philosophical novel. It is a show about a Chainsaw headed guy fighting and killing grotesque monsters. Read something like "The Brothers Karamazov" or "War and Peace" if you care about depth in your fiction. Don't search for insane depth in a cartoon adapted from some action comic book series meant for teenagers. |

| After what happened with Himeno... Denji woke up and fought against the demon Katana. Although... he was defeated, very good scene. And on the other side...Makima didn't die. I wanted to see how they did the temple scene, it was incredible. The tension with the music and everything was really cool. And then, Kobeni went to save Denji. This scene was also great. Very good chapter. Ninth ending, Aimer - "Deep down". Very good song. Here, many images xd |

| Lot of questions that was not answered and questions that we're irrelevant once the episode was done like the fuck am I supposed to feel We know that Makima is not someone who's supposed to be messed with our she'll crush your skull like hell on earth so Denji is so lucky if he ever gets crushed on her thighs in between ED is a banger thought it was Minami for a sec since it has her vibes just from the visual till I saw it's Aimer another fitting song to the ED collection. |

| For the first time, she dies before her partner...hang on, the missing body with clothes left behind implies she was a victim of Makima's attack and not the devils she was fighting? Is Curse having a similar design to Chainsaw of any significance? Do all canine devils look like that when they merge with a human host, for example? Makima uses blindfolded convicts to transmit her powers, she needs the names of the victims name read though (kinda reminds me of death note). |
