| The Shogi Club is finally an official club. Will we start to get nonstop episodes of intense shogi battles?! I somehow doubt it. Though, I guess in this show's defense, Rin appears to be a driving force for club activities. So maybe it's okay to be tepidly optimistic about more shogi? I mean, Tanaka losing is literally his own fault for not studying enough shogi this whole time. But, at the same time, Rin has sort of just stepped up and become the most annoying character in this series. So now I'm super conflicted. Tanaka is going to need to try hard and believe in himself to the nth degree at this point. Who knows if he can do such a thing though? Then, on a dime, Rin shifts and becomes one of the best characters -- not that Tanaka hasn't already said things that imply his feelings, but him not just coming out and expressing himself is disappointing. We don't need more shows built around misunderstandings and half measures. Well, it had more shogi than usual, but still isn't what I expected or wanted. |

| Rin is aware of that whole confession waiting part and will help him but of course she wants to win "the race" instead of Urushi... that club part was pretty good, we got some nice teasing at the end xD |

| Prez Urushi is feeling pretty proud and accomplished. Rightfully so, I might add. At the love front there's still not really significant progressing. She keeps blushing instead of hugging. Clumsy af xD |

| Really they make it so obvious that even a newly joined member Rin noticed the mutual crush our main characters share. Though was fun when she suddenly started calling Ayumu,"Tanaka-san" from senpai. A fun character overall. |

| So, Kagawa Rin is just a weird girl who did use to have a crush on Ayumu. Or rather... she probably still has that crush. It would be great if she could stir things up a little. |
| Haha, Rin instantly changes honorifics depending on if she has beaten the person yet (whether at kendo or shogi or even a bet). After getting the better of Tanaka-senpai, she has more respect for Urushi. Maki being the epic wingwoman again. At first, Rin thinks Tanaka is a coward for not confessing to Urushi but then she realizes he won't confess until he beats his senpai in Shogi (just like she intends to confess to Tanaka in Kendo). Damn, I thought they were going for it (and Tanaka at least thought he would get a hug from Urushi). |
