🔥🔥🔥 My opinion about the episode 🔥🔥:

His episode exceeded my initial expectations in terms of production, especially the drawing
And the characters, a burning enthusiasm from the beginning until the last minute, a strange initial training start of its kind, but it remains a challenge for all the attackers, I liked the hero in the end when you hope that he must change himself and there are only 20 seconds left and lose, but he insisted on facing the strongest to change and here the metal appears to us The real hero.

✨ Fun episode 10/10 ✨
Waiting for episode 2 🔥🔥🔥

Adaptation seems very accurate to the manga. They often the suspense right in the first test so this is looking like a good series

I think this show is hilarious because it's so unrealistic, but I do like it though and it had some great moments in this episode. I think if you don't take a lot of what the characters are saying seriously and look past some questionable things then this could be something for you. Like, it's not really believable imo that everyone went along with the project when they would have to ditch everything else in their life because of it

gotta say, it remind me again why i am not that much of a fan of the premise of blue lock, it simply absurd to think by gathering 300 japanese high school striker you can create the best striker in the world but i have to say the story is very enganging, and manga art is superb, the intensity is also there, this is definitely one of the most anticipated series this season.

I skimmed through some of the comments and saw an awfully large amount of people complimenting the animation, yet I don't really see anything satisfactory about this series. I was being hyped up by Tiktok videos, friends who have read the manga, and from the discussions of upcoming anime adaptions on this forum but totally disappointed in the results I saw today. Terrible CGI, not a fan of a lot of the unnecessary edginess, be it the random yet constantly zoomed in facial expressions as if they've just finished killing someone and eating their flesh raw is just a total turn off. It tries way too hard to forcefully portray some type of edgy atmosphere.

Not a fan of this "football organization" since it's unrealistic to the point where it's a total joke in my eyes, in what world would a manager/coach like Ego Jinpachi have any actual saying power? And the outlandish and pathetically forced dialogue he tries to forcefully set some kind of edgy tone for the series is just ridiculously cringe to the point where I found it too stupid to even humor it. Everything is so inconsistent, forced, and arbitrary.

I think the first episode so far as a basis for introducing a series that I had considerable expectations for was pretty terrible. After finishing Ao Ashi my standards might just be too high for football series I guess.

I liked the designs of the characters but the animation sucked, the movement of the characters sucked, the kick trajectory and ball trajectory sucked, the sound effects and quality sucked, I even feel like the voice acting felt very forced and the characters didn't connect with their dialogue at all in my opinion. I love some of the voice actors in this series dearly, but it just seems like they're totally focused on reading the script and have no added interest in developing an actual feeling to the character outside of over-dramatizing the edgy personalities that this series seems to be extremely desperate to make.

Really harsh criticism from me, but I expected a totally different level of quality in all aspects so this dropped the ball quite literally, I hope some better context and more background story around the Protagonist might change my mind about this series, but it may also be I was expecting an actual game of proper football without all this over-the-top dramatization and fantastical elements involved perhaps?

Seems like another overrated series needlessly hyped up, shallow plot and unrealistic concept for a sport anime that caters to extremely edgy fan bases for it's twisted egotistical ideology it propagates to give the protagonist an artificial layer of badassery when in reality it's the equivalent to plot armor for a Hero in an Isekai or Nakama power like Fairy Tail and Naruto. Instead of friendship or ridiculously stupid amounts of luck blessed by a god to fulfill their every need at the exact timing they need it; they just remove more personality and emotions from the main character and hope that the deadpan and egotistical, dull, one track minded protagonist will plow through everyone.

I say all of that above, but when done right a really edgy personality with a proper backstory and well drawn out plot or goal is extremely entertaining and engaging to read/watch when done correctly. I just think this series is half baked, cliché to the max, and overdone in all aspects.

Pelé's and Cantona's quotes are alright but el Diego's "EEEEEEEEE" is superior.

Well, I was thinking this was gonna be like Ao Ashi but boy was I wrong... This is so extra and insane lmao
I'm not sure about this one just yet since it's so weird, but I do find the concept interesting, so for the time being... Messirve 😎

PS: Was the coach who cried at the beginning voiced by Rikiya Koyama?

Some of the footwork early on was super sus. That and a decent amount of tweeny on the fans and such in the opening sequence. Otherwise production seemed solid so far. Particularly good in the second half. The first half of the episode felt a bit rushed and generic, but really picked up towards the end. Love the concept moving forward. Can't wait to see what other crazy mini games and drills they will do, and also how they will manage to evolve on that to take the show a step further. All in all a decent 7/10 first episode imo.

I love soccer, and I love sports. But sports anime don't always appeal to me. However, this anime's first episode really connected with my love for soccer. It was legit awesome. This episode was so darn intense, and in all honesty, it shoulf be rated at least 9. A rating of 8.45 is toooooo low. Probably the best first episode I've ever seen, even matching Aot's first ep, which is my fav. Honestly, this anime might become my fav. I had an expectation of 7.5/10, but this was freaking 10/10

I don't know what to think for now. It has an interesting story premise, animation is good, MC is fine. BUT, after finishing Aoashi, I can't seem to like this BASED on the 1st episode. As a massive football fan, I will still watch this for 3 more weeks and see if my first impression changes.

Omfg that was good. One of the best first episodes of an anime that i've seen in a while. So intense and a lot of good character moments. I feel like they're setting up a situation where we really will have no idea who will make it out of there. I might have to read the manga lol idk if I can watch weekly for 6 months without reading ahead.

It seems we've entered the Squi-... Striker Game.

I'm not sure how serious this is meant to be - I assume not very - but are they all just going to move into a massive blue box - no questions asked?

Meguru seems to be the most favourited character of this series, I can see how he'd be liked, but so far he's mainly just came off as another L (Lawliet).

I'm still liking this more than Ao Ashi from an entertainment standpoint. Neither Ao, nor this MC, were really that fleshed out, but I prefer this guy.

Hmmm looks like this will be less of a sports anime and more of a survival game with elements of football. Not sure what to think yet, but I'm not quite sure why people are so excited about the animation. Looks kinda normal to me.

I'm not a lolicon, you're just projecting your tendency to lewd 2D characters.

If your favourite character is Tsutsukakushi Tsukiko, you are my soul mate.

Been a long time since I've been here, I'll continue expressing myself freely and believe everyone should too.

what a journey. blue lock is one of the most complicated sports anime i have ever watched. its got a taste of death note, that if u do smth wrong, ur done for, altho the stakes arent so high of death note. Our MC is ranked #299 so hes in a pretty bad position, so it is gonna be a tough ride

24 episodes of this?!?!?! And the first episode is already an awesome knockdown. To be honest, I know nothing about Blue Lock except that it has previously been compared to Ao Ashi. And I really like Ao ashi's realistic approach to the story, which includes some likeable characters with whom you can identify. Blue Lock, on the other hand, is brimming with exciting potential. I know it's too soon to judge, but it has an undeniable allure due to its unusual setting, potentially insane and strong (and possibly selfish) characters, and some solid animation (which I hope will be consistent until the end). That last part is fantastic. The MC's twist was surprisingly good. But, in any case, I'm curious where the story might go from here, given that it defies the standard norm of strength in numbers.

this series tries to put some different things out of the anime sports genre but in same time, these things have been terrible logic because series tried every character to in ego on sport like football use teamwork for play but in first ep you can see it.what it happened when the series spoke eco was the best way how to top 1 and make lesson hidden gem younger.
This is problem, if you think a bit What you can know it. what a result is coming after the younger got passed lesson , high eco can't play with team , toxic and other.
if they play solo sport or stand-alone sport, it is best way to, top 1, but for teamwork, sport is the problem.

Blue Lock can mostly be compared to Ao Ashi in the sense that they are polar opposites.

Purists and people dedicated only to the sport itself love the high attention to detail and technicality of something like Ao Ashi but the manga also became sometimes bogged down in some areas because of the detail, a similar quality that reminded me of the tennis series Baby Steps. Blue Lock on the other hand eschews the specifics for more thrills and hype and making plays look cool rather than being technically correct, which goes well with the theme of prioritizing ego and personal ability above teamwork. There are many excellent characters in the series and I think it's one of Blue Lock's strong points, so hopefully you'll enjoy it as time goes on, it's one of the chapters I look forward to the most every week. :)
