| Just watched the series for the first time this past week and Kamina's death really hit hard. One of the best early deaths in any series right up there with a certain someone from Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. |

| wow, that really hit like a truck. tbh dropped it early on because of the monster of the week vibe it gave off but after picking back off this ep shows this it has something else to offer. |
| That had to happen and I commend the writers for making it happen a third of the way into the show. This show had to be Simon's story otherwise there would have been no character arc. The narration clues us in that the story was about Simon realizing his destiny. Still a gut punch of an episode though. Kamina casts a long shadow over this show. |

| Too shocking for me to even be able to cry, but Kamina death was painful, can't believe it happened so early, not even at 1/3 of the series. This was by far the first really great episode of the show. I wonder how it will continue. |

| I knew what was coming because I got spoiled (yeah, I even got spoiled the very episode in which it happened), but still... I'm sad. Turns out I was much more attached to Kamina than I thought I was. There's rain coming from my eyes. Rip you crazy boy. I'll miss you. |

| WOW ALREADY? I never expected this to happen so early... I'm sure Simon will have some impactful flashbacks of Kamina during his fights at least. He really went out with a bang. That "GIGA DRILL BREAK!" sequence was phenomenal, I cried tears of excitement!! What a badass death. |

| I was not ready for this episode :((( The episode was so nice and wholesome, Kamina and Yoko even kissed but it escalated quickly.. I can't believe that Kamina is dead. He was such a cool and badass character. May he rest in peace <3 5/5 episode |

| Damn... Just... Damn... Kamina was my favourite character and I didn't expect him to die so early on. I legit teared up at the end of the episode. It's impressive how I feel sympathy for Kamina in just 8 episodes while other shows I barely feel bad for a character after 100 episodes. |

| Well, That was expected! not a big surprise, but it really remains a wonderful and difficult scene to watch, despite of my disappointment with Yoko's silly love, that interfered with the main story line and the fate of its main characters and this is unbearable thing for sure, especially when it comes from a character who is nothing else but a fan service character... Anyway, Kamina's death was necessary for Simon for sure! He was stealing all the lights from Simon. I look forward to seeing Simon's fate know. |
| The last couple episodes were just okay to me but this was a phenomenal episode. From the time they kissed and the setting and dialogue that sent anime red flags in my brain immediately. I didn't want it to be true but I can't believe that they killed him off this early. |

| This episode was mixed with a lot of different kind of emotions. The first part was just great to see Kamina get his bag filled by Yoko. Sadly, Simon wasn't that happy with it. I don't think that he wanted to form a relationship with Yoko but he was merely thinking about losing his place and being the third-wheeler afterwards. Anyway, this was just the first part of the episode. The second part is where the real stuff comes down. A last battle against Viral and Monkey King Kong. Everything went smoothly until Simon couldn't concentrate anymore but Kamina punched some sense into him. As always, his spiritful speeches are something I always look out for. Simon gets back on his feet but sadly the one who gets pierced through is Kamina thanks to Monkey's gunmen. He kept getting hit from every single direction until he splattered blood everywhere. This was already a hint to his death. Simon went crazy but after hearing his brother's voice, he started to calm down. One last fight until his last breathe. Kamina death as a hero, a warrior and a fucking legend of a character. He instantly became one of my favorite characters and he sadly won't be returning. Not going to check the prologue again but I think it's just Simon who's going to become an insane character. What a fucking episode.. |

| You can’t do this to me man it shouldn’t be this way it’s too soon for Kamina to die smh so this was really their last combination it’s kinda sad well never get to see another Brotherly Heaven Piercing Gurren Lagann !! combination again |

| What the fuck... I can't believe that he really died. It made me so sad since Kamina was by far my favourite character. I don't know how the anime is going to look without him. |
