| Holy frack... In my opinion, great episode. Even though there was no fighting or any special events, this episode answered A LOT of mine questions. I still wonder why Itachi killed whole Uchiha clan. Was he ordered by ANBU or not? Was it ordered by Madara for reasons unknown? Damn... Looking forward to next episode. Also, I must say I just LOVE episodes without Naruto actually appearing xD |

| good episode i love it it really changed my opinion of madara and the uchia clan now i c y sasuke is doing what he doing in the manga 5/5 p.s. i just love episodes without nauto.lol^^ |

| I started the episode, but got bored for the 1st 5 minutes so I gave up. I hated this chapter in the manga too. It's always a lose lose for me..if Naruto isn't there, we get Sasuke and vice versa. I'll assume they stuck to the manga with the boring truth of Itachi? |
| nice episode.. so itachi was a spy ... naruto is getting better.. now only shippuden and o.piece are the only good shounen at the moment ... tho i dont like the '' he tried to protect you' think -_- itachi is an awesome villain, they ruined him x( |

| My guess is that Madara helped Itachi to prove a point. What I don't understand is why Itachi then felt the need to join Akatsuki. I guess it was to kill Madara in the end, but then maybe they expect to use Sasuke for that. Either way, I'm glad that this episode clears up all the bad vibes I've had about the elders since the beginning of the show. That's by far the best part of this episode. I wonder how much Kakashi, Sai and Yamato know about Danzou. Also, I can't remember what happened to the Senju clan. What ended up happening with that line? Isn't the 2nd Hokage Tsunade's father or uncle? I can't remember. |

| I didn't like Madara even he explain the things he has done.No matter how he explain,it seems he only thirst for power,blood and revenge.If Madara excluded from Uchiha, other country might not even hire Uchiha.If Uchiha is weak,it wouldn't join any stupid war. |

| Well, I already knew all this but it was good to go over it again. Madara took his younger brother's eyes to fight senju, they then made a truce and Madara was outcast as a troublemaker and leaves the Uchiha clan. He fights the First Hokage at Final Valley and loses and is presumed dead. However, he comes back with control of the Nine-Tails and attacks Konha, killing the Fourth Hokage and Naruto's mother in the process. The rest is history. |

There is nothing really explained to what happen to Senju clan except what has been said in this episode. And Tsunade is the granddaughter of the First Hokage. |

| Finally, an explanation about the Uchiha clan! Itachi was on a mission to kill the Uchiha clan, which were planning on a coup d'etat O_O! 5/5! I don't like evil greedy for power people. Itachi is actually a good person <3 xPP!! Looks like in next ep, everything will be revealed, along with Can't wait for next ep with the whole truth~~!! |

If you don't believe what he said,then this episode is just another filler Madara didn't said he can't control the Kyuubi (it even showed that during his fight with the first Hokage he had the Kyuubi with him). He said exactly the opposite. He said that because a strong Uchiha has that ability to control it when the Kyuubi appeared at Konoha they thought that it was someone from the Uchiha clan who did it despite the fact that this time it really was an accident. According to Madara the Kyuubi came by it's own at that time but because the Konoha leaders didn't trust the Uchihas they blamed them. Now if what he is saying is true or not is a completely different story. |

The fact that the Kyuubi knows Madara is no proof that his lying since he used the Kyuubi when he fought the 1st Hogake after he left the village. So of course the Kyuubi knows him. He was controlling it for a very long time. That's why the Konoha elders immediately thought of an Uchiha instead of the Kyuubi acting alone. Because they knew on how Madara could control it so they thought that maybe some other strong Uchiha was doing it this time. And that's why Madara says they never trusted the Uchihas. They wouldn't even think of the possibility of an accident. Now if it was Madara and not a physical distraction, it remains to be seen. He could be lying just so that he can look like a nice guy to Sasuke. |
| Oh. I guess I got confused with that timeline a little. So then I think that further places suspicion on Madara's words. He can't say that he controlled the Kyuubi, but then had nothing to do with an attack on Konoha by it without any proof. Especially considering his standing. I'm not totally sure about what his motives are, but that he would divulge that much and have a glaring inconsistency in his story makes him less trustworthy. I definitely believe about 90% of what he said, but there is a vital piece missing. Hopefully that will be revealed. |
