| This episode was heavily focused on Mizuhara's past and her family, im saddened that her grandpa got in an car accident and didn't survive, rip. Also sad that Mizuhara didn't get the audition, life is an pain sometimes. Kazuya really wants to give his all to make an movie for Mizuhara and completely ignores people around him (basically) Season 3 announced lmao, was expected i guess. |

| This season had a lot of ups and downs but at least ended on a strong premise to start the next season. My rating for this season is a little lower mainly because the concept itself was dragging a little for me. I think the shared reluctance to openly embrace Kazuya and Chizuru growing closer is a large factor in this. I get she's a rental girlfriend and that requires some distancing, but they live next to each other, their families know each other, can't they rely on one another without it being so difficult to think about? |
| This season was 10 episodes of trash that ended with two okay episodes because they had Kazuya act like a normal human being instead of usual self. |
| It was a tender episode. Anime only people finally know Ichinose's story. Kazuya finally took a step forward towards Chizuru's dream. But it might be just as good if he pursue his xD I really like this show. Eager for season 3. |

| Production quality was not consistent, pacing felt off, and the music choices are awful, making all the scenes underwhelming. And so much re-caps 10 seconds later each time, to the previous time. |

| Wow, this was certainly one heavy finale to this season! And yeah, RIP to Chizuru’s grandfather, who was the one who spurred her on in her dream of becoming an actress. And who would’ve thought that her grandmother would’ve been an actress back in her day? Wow. And though Kazuya has had quite a lot of issues this season (and for the whole series really), he really did come through big-time in this finale! And he’s finally putting those business administration classes he’s taking to good use as well! Crowdfunding for a movie? With how popular Chizuru is in the rental girlfriend business, I’m sure that she won’t have much problem raising a whole bunch of money. The question is can they raise enough? All in all, a very good finale to a season that had some issues, but was overall quite good! And there’s going to be a third season? Wow, i’m impressed. Can’t wait for it! |
| Chizuru's Grandmother will die, Chizuru will have sex with Umi, in the waterpark arc, mami will "accidentally" spilled the bean (about chizuru being a rental), kazuya's family is enrage but chizuru kept that act by kissing kazuya infront of them, after that chizura will leave kazuya hanging for 4 months, not even accepting his rental offers, sooo you still think this is some good shit?? wake up simps |

| This season was worse than first one, but I expect that third season will be a blast and end up with "banging" :D I mean this should be the ending of s2 with his declaration, but I guess she is true Ice Queen. |

| God, that was an overly cheesy final episode, probably one of the worst in the series so far. I similarly enjoyed this season like the previous one, this ridiculous premise makes for stupid and hilarious situations and it's entertaining in it's own little way. 7/10. |

| I feel satisfied and extremely happy after finishing the last episode of this Season. The fact that Season 3 is already announced plays a big role for me feeling like this. I would probably have been a little sad if there was no Season 3 announcement. I mean I literally woke up and the first thing I see on my phone is the notification from MAL App which says, "Kanojo Okarishimasu Season 3 has just been added to the database". You won't believe how happy it made me feel. My whole day is made just because of that single notification. Did not expect to see a middle school Chizuru, it made me laugh to see how she was in middle school. Nor did I expect to find out that Sayuri was an actress, that was a nice surprise. We saw how Chizuru found her dream to be an actress. And Truck-kun is at it again, ruining lives and adding drama. These last two episodes have been really emotional for me, episode 11 was the first time I ever cried watching a rent a gf episode and I cried 10 times more in this episode when compared to previous episode. Chizuru going up and down the shrine several times got me teary-eyed. Sumi coming and telling us to google the meaning ourselves was so random, made me LOL. Kazuya is such a chad and his timing was so good, just when Chizuru was losing all hope, he went to her with the idea of a crowd-funded movie. It felts so good to see Kazuya so serious about helping Chizuru make her dream come true. The whole sequence starting from Chizuru coming to Kazuya's room was too emotional, I was crying the whole time, that was one of the best moment of the whole series till now for me. "I'll show you that I can.", I watched that part 3 times and it got me teary-eyed all three times. You can see in Kazuya's eyes he's gonna give his fucking all, the post-credits just proved that further. He's very serious about this, just shows how much he cares for Chizuru and her dreams. Man's love for Chizuru is the real deal. If this goes on and Kazuya keeps on growing, he might just become a man worthy of Chizuru. Even Sumi is growing even more, possibly going to order something all by herself from a shop as shown in the post-credit and Mami finally realising she's got no life. Kazuya should buy some new clothes fr, bro was wearing the same shirt and pants that he wore on his first ever date with Chizuru in Season 1 Episode 1 and in the post-credit of this episode.  Bruh and is Ruka moving💀💀💀? Hell naw. Ok seems like a new character is gonna come. Season 1 ended with Chizuru calling Kazuya "baaaka" and this Season also ends with Chizuru calling Kazuya a baka. Nice. With each passing Season, Chizuru warms up more and more to Kazuya. Their relationship isn't developing super fast but it's undeniable that some development is there. Kazuya sure has come a long way when you compare him with his Season 1 self, all thanks to Chizuru. Even just falling for Chizuru is helping him, he finally found something he can be serious about and put all his efforts in. All's gonna be good if they manage to make the movie before Sayuri passes or some miracle happens and Sayuri is cured. In any case I'm really lookimg forward to see how the movie arc goes about and how good the movie ends up getting received. Especially because how I keep seeing people say movie arc is the best arc of this series and how it's able to redeem this series. Not gonna lie my expectations are high and I'm sure Season 3 is gonna meet them all. Rent a gf can never disappoint me. This Season has been good, loads better than Season 1 in terms of almost everything. Even Season 1 was excellent but this was above and beyond Season 1. Just hoping we don't have to wait another 2 years for the new Season as if this goes on I don't know how long it will take to adapt the whole manga as I'm really hoping to see the whole manga adapted. 10/10. Gonna miss the rent a gf Saturday's. Will fill the void with Spy x family part 2, chainsaw man and mob psycho s3. Till Season 3. |

| In my opinion, season 2 was better than season 1 as it wasn't as cringey and I think that there was progression overall, plus a few episodes were well done including the finale, the ones with Sumi, and even the ones with Ruka since I admire how she stands up for the truth and what she feels. I don't mind not having closure since season 3 is happening now, I just hope that the story-line continues forward (I know from the manga readers that it drags on but whose to say that they don't improve for the anime). Getting more background on Chizuru helps explain her firmness and keeping to herself but I do see her slowly opening up, her calling Kazuya an idiot is out of admiration in a way. I give this season an 8/10. Side note: I noticed whom at first I thought was Ruka with a moving van in what appears to be the apartment complex where Kazuya and Chizuru are residing in but upon closer look it may be a new girl (seriously there's going to be ANOTHER girl??) She is previewed in the season 3 picture.  |

| Just finished. Glad S3 is happening. I know a lot of people hate Kazuya. I don't. I'm more than happy to watch him being an earnest dummy for another season. I gave S1 a 7 and S2 an 8. Here's to S3 being a 9. LOL |

  ALRIGHT GUYS! YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO!  Sumi-chan kawaii! We got more of Sumi this ep even if it is just little spotlights. Yay! :D  Ok so when did Mami become self aware lmao? Ngl this ep was good. This season is a lot better than the previous season. I enjoyed it. Can't understand why people hate this season so much lol! (Didn't read the manga btw) And I have my respects to Kazuya this ep. And didn't know Chizuru had such a sad backstory. I mean she did mention it before but it was so sadder now. I can feel what she was prolly feeling. Btw, this is my 100th anime which I am completing. Didn't expect kanokori to take that spot lmao! |

| Ah yes Chizuru's backstory for the finale, realizing she wants to be an actress and the death of her grandfather though that was ridiculous how he spoke before dying even though he was brain damaged, anyway now they plan to make the movie by themselves which can be a good idea I believe, up to the 3rd cour to see that... |

| This episode was great but wasted on such a shitty anime. Like if the show sole focused on Chizuru becoming an actress it would actually be really good imo. Fuck even if Kazuya became her manager or some shit I would be in. But i felt nothing from this episode outside of the 10/10 performance by Sora Amamiya but again. Wasted on this trash. |

| Well... there it is. The end of the second season and let's look forward to the third season that has been already announced. But, surprisingly the last couple of episodes have been fun. This episode was Chizuru's backstory and how she came to choose Acting as her career. Her grandparents are really sweet. And, I hope her grandma will be able to see her granddaughters' performance before passing away. Good thing is that Kazuya wants to help her with that. Btw, peak voice acting by Amamiya Sora-san. You're really amazing. |
