THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
There's a lot of pride on the line. Rin Bu Kun in particular shows his battle style, skills, and pride in this battle. He's like a monster.

Exciting to also see Shin again on the battlefield.

The general with the ginormous iron bar weapon is dumb. How can you keep swinging your weapon repeatedly at your opponent in the SAME direction when it didn't work?!

And the animation is subpar, tbh.

This show is criminally under-hyped. Sad that so many are missing out.

The Adaptation is kind of Lackluster Animation and S1 and S2 are Giant Turn offs

The manga is so awesome. But if you guys are enjoying then good for you as this season is best looking season compared to the other 2. But still the censorship is ridiculous. Which war will not have blood involved? I do not understand what kind of censorship is this. The studio is afraid to show blood. Not only that the action scenes do not carry any weight. Especially in this episode where Tou and Rinboku fight is just so pale. Well this is my opinion since I read the manga. If you guys enjoy it then good to you, but I will ask you guys to give the manga a try since it is incredibly better than the anime. The only good thing about this season is there is less cgi junkyard compared to other seasons. Also the character designs are improved. That is all.I am not telling you guys to stop watching this series. Watch it. But after this season ends try reading the same in the manga which will make you think this is one of the best arcs in the media. It is that great

This season is by far best adaption of 3 seasons. I am enjoying it each and every episodes! This episode was another 9/10

All manga reader should stop their crying. making a full panel by panel action packed Kingdom is 100% impossible.

Fall 2022 is the most Unforgettable anime season of all time

Good episode, but man I wish this show wasn't censored, would've been tremendous that way. The animation is still a big improvement from the first two seasons since it looks passable and not damn ugly, but this episode still did look flat and amateurish in some areas today. At least its decent enough to not be an ugly and unwatchable adaptation. Tou was pretty damn awesome in this episode and even took down Rinbukun, a Chu General, and made it look so easy. Star of the episode for me.

I mentioned this season having at least a production glow-up, but geez everything still looked so stiff. It’s really that bad when even a quality slice of life show feels far more lively in comparison, but I’ll digress.

Typical action-oriented Kingdom episode. Stretch stuff out and have these Jojo-like superhuman battles between larger-than-life commanders (whom I’m not gonna remember or miss anytime soon). I know it’s probably required to have a sense of disbelief, but that can only do so much without some sort of self awareness. Kinda amusing how they tried to make us feel for someone made to look important to the story via last minute background check, yet it doesn’t seem to matter when the series will introduce even more of these characters down the stretch, anyways.

This time around, the directing seemed even more amateurish. The censorship was pretty funny, though.

Alright episode but really underwhelming, the duels just can't compare to the manga. The Bakuya sword talk was just cringe. And Tou vs Rinbunkun, Tou cuts his head off in the manga, here he dies from a shoulder wound.

But alright we'll give them a pass I guess.

first time kingdom tried to make me feel little something for the enemy, and kinda succeeds. lol

i would prefer for meng to kill that archer and not only neutralise him. guess he hadn't had the time?

Tou's a fucking beast for slaying down the first General and the news already spread across all the battlefields. General Ouki is probably smiling upon him. Mou ten did a nice assist right there by slaying one of the best archers of China. Shin's now fighting Goku.

Teng is so fucking badass bro, back then he seemed like he's just Wang Yi's yes man, never even talking much. But during the war that killed Wang Yi, he's been shown to do that thing that he does, spinning his sword like that and mowing down dozens of people in his path, alone. He did it again and easily took down Chu's general. What a boss.

Teng looks so out of place. He looks like a European that got lost in ancient China, lol.
Holy crap that Gorilla of a man has a super duper cute wife! I kinda feel bad he died, and his wife became a widow. It looks like they were a lovely couple.
Lord Lin Wu asked to fight a great general and bit off more than he could chew.
Wan Ji's army is made up of zombies.
Did Wei seriously withdraw that siege? It's kind of a waste to end that siege, and they have to lug around that siege tower again.

I was waiting for some Tou badassery, ever since the battle against Sho in the first season. Did not disappoint. He and his overall might has been kind of kept in the shadows, of course there are many who know how capable he is, but the anime has been keeping him on the down-low, until now of course. Got me curious about how powerful the commanding general of So is, that mountain of a man.
