| It's fine like this, this chapter is literally chapter #98 and the next volume will most likely be volume 12. It's a direct continuation and doesn't really need to be separated IMO. |

| The Japanese App that it is the origin and official publishing place separates them. this is an American issue. This is like if a translation in English phrased something in the wrong way making a funny moment sound more serious. Should everyone in America accept the translation provided rather than find the more accurate one and consider it correct? Yes, because there's a actual answer. And for this situation it's common sense. Viz made a mistake in where it published it at directly compared to how it was originally separated from the prequel series. Viz should fix this. But MAL if they do their research should make it it's own entity. Also should we make Parts 1-8 and 9 it's own manga or separate it? |

| Rip the 260,000 people with it in their completed sections. Seems like an odd choice if the volumes come out and it’s marketed as part 2. Also since they’re in different magazines and it is literally like part 2, so like I said, if the volumes come out with part 2, then it’s really the same as Tokyo ghoul. |

There's also Dragon ball, where people generally consider Z and DB to be separate things, but the japanese volumes consider them one continuous release (and the MAL entry reflects this). Correct me if I'm wrong, but iirc, the japanese volumes of Jojo (the first 5 parts) also have a connected volume count, so MAL technically should combine them as well. This topic gets pretty confusing. |

| If we're just continuing with chapter 98, vol 12 then there's no need for a new entry. Obviously 98 seemed a bit different but this will still most likely end up being a direct continuation of part 1 with Denji as the MC. This is just a new saga, not an entirely different story like JoJo does. |

| According to pattern, JoJo Part 6 as ONA show shouldn't be divided into separate entries, but it is. I guess it's a matter of whoever adds certain entry's whim on whether it will follow the known pattern or not. It's my hunch anyway. If I'm wrong, feel free to tell me. |
