What is your favourite romance anime/manga?

| Your Name is not just my favourite romance anime but also my favourite anime of all time. I still haven't had an experience like that since then. That anime is single-handedly responsible for me watching dozens of romance anime and over 50 anime movies. In series, Spice & Wolf is my favourite followed closely by Wotakoi, Nozaki-kun, Kaguya sama, Net-juu no sususme. |

| Just using your poll I'd go with Horimiya. I honestly find it to be the most refreshing take on romance in years. I've even said going back over a decade to be honest. It was a badly needed show, so glad we got it. Here's a bit more detailed list. Movie - Millennium Actress Recent - Horimiya Romance / Drama - His and Her Circumstances Romance / Action - Rurouni Kenshin Romance / Comedy - Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou Romance / Fantasy (isekai) - Escaflowne Romance / Sci-Fi - Blue Gender Mainstream hit that won't let you down - Your Name If you honestly want to just feel depressed - Rumbling Hearts (kinda...) | It's pretty unpopular opinion but I will say Oreimo after reading the light novel where the character psychology and traits are vastly explore , character interaction I also found great though I also found ending is rushed and forced but the way the previous volume offers it's became my favourite romance anime and light novel |

| Fruits Basket anime but mainly because of the drama, the romance is nice but the drama carries the show in my opinion. Rurouni Kenshin is also up there but there's a lack of romance so I'll go with Fruits Basket. For manga it'd have to be Akatsuki no Yona and Kamisama Hajimemashita :) |

| I think Given, Nana and Your Lie in April are the best shows out of these, but I don't love any of them for the romance. I think they mainly shine with their other aspects (how they handle grief, inevitability and growing up). So I voted Lovely Complex, because it's fun, adorable, and the romance is really sweet and breaks with some overdone clichés 🤭 |
