| Finally, I'm starting to find characters I relate to other than just Shirou Emiya, so I can provide more than one character for once :') Shirou Emiya and Natsuki Subaru I relate to for extremely similar reasons (they're the type to set themselves on fire to keep others warm), yet they still have their own unique traits that I see myself in. Episode 16 of UBW for Shirou and episode 16 of Re:Zero s2 for Subaru are showcases of why they mean so much to me and why I can relate to them. For someone who doesn't see themselves in characters, it hit me like a truck seeing these episodes. Another set of characters I relate to, who may be a bit less known, are Megumi Saitou and Taku Yokoi from Asper Kanojo. I suppose it's because this series explicitly has autistic characters, but it's still so validating seeing characters who act like me in both the good and bad moments. The last major character I see myself in is one Yatora Yaguchi from Blue Period. He's the artist who constantly feels like he's falling behind and doesn't know what to do. Reading this during my senior year of university where I was taking mostly art courses was like a punch to the face. I was the only non-art major in the courses, I barely knew what I was doing, the professors hated my work but wouldn't outright say why, I was working with unfamiliar mediums and processes. And the entire time, when I would go to read Blue Period, whether it was catching up or because of a new translated chapter, I felt like Yatora was right there with me dealing with the same struggles. All these characters had me ugly crying, going "S/HE'S JUST LIKE ME, FR" like that goddamn Denji or whoever meme. As I consume more media, it's are that I find someone that I can fully latch onto and see my annoying, broken, weirdass self in, but when I do? Those characters mean the world to me. |

| Hmmmm I suck at judgjing/describing the personalities so it is very hard for this so I will mainly focus on look-like. For personality I would say that Ichigo Kurosaki and Shuuhei Hisagi would be close to represent me. For look like it would be Shuuhei Hisagi and Isshin Kurosaki (the young version from TYBW arc flashbacks) but you would need to add a moustache and beard to them. Here's how they look like:   Btw (I know less related but the recent story from a trip and it will answer what you should imagine in look like when I was writing about Isshin and Hisagi) Around 2 days ago I found out that there is a famous arist/singer who's very similar to me when it comes to look like of the face and that is Camilo. You mainly need to cut these fancy turned moustache parts on edges as mine isn't that stylised/grown and you need to change his eyes color into dark-green and I do wear glasses but it doesn't matter as I can wear lenses x). More of a, gets really pissed off and rages at trivial things because their life is a mess and nothing seems to be going according to plan, kind of way. | As a kid, I was very like Motoko Kusanagi from the movie most of the time with small moments of kid Naruto(goofy moments) towards people I like(mostly to make them laugh) and I dealt with difficult moments like Oz Vessalius(simply ignoring the bad part and being pragmatic) As a teen I was like Vash the Stampede, with Luffy's views on freedom and defiance towards unrational and/or forceful authority figures As a young adult I was exactly like Guts after Griffith monologue up until him figuring out his life goal/dream.(but without actually figuring out a goal xD) Nowadays I'm like Killua, Lain or L...I'm an INTP |
